21st May 2026 (7 days ago)If I could rate 0 I would. We had the misfortune of our purchase being handover to Dominic in the new year. I can honestly say I’ve never been spoken to in such a condescending, rude and aggressive manner by anyone- let alone someone who stands to benefit from a substantial commission. Firstly our offer was accepted in October and despite chasing the property was left on the market visible on all platforms for 6 weeks after our offer was accepted. It wasn’t until December when the owner suddenly and unexpectedly passed away that it was taken down. This sort of behaviour screams dishonesty. His manager Sally whom I tried to escalate to, did nothing and didn’t even bother to reply to my emails. I was shouted at over the phone, called “little miss last minute.com” on 3 occasions during a single call, received the email below- which, I think paints the picture well enough. Dominic had little to no knowledge of probate process, demanded I forward rental contracts which Dexter’s had no involvement in, advised that our solictors should undertake the negotiations, did not communicate honestly with the sellers (after confirming in writing that he had). He was aware of completion day for 6 weeks- despite this he booked appointments for valuations and did not bother to tell anyone in the office that we were due to complete that day. Not only did we not receive a call from Dexters to say we’d completed (it came via solicitors hours later), we had to travel to the agency to collect a key. We arrived at the agency who had no idea we’d completed!! Not even a congratulations or email follow up to check everything went smoothly. To top that Dominic refused to share alarm codes stating “they are written inside”. Unfortunately no correct codes existed inside- so we couldn’t even get in without calling out the alarm company to disarm the system! No codes for the padlocks either. Not exactly how you expect to be treated by an estate agent, or his managers Sally who did nothing to resolve the situation when it was escalated to her. I certainly would never use Dexters services in the future and would advise the local community against using their company.
31st May 2024 (1 year ago)Jonathan Hunt are an excellent team to sell your property with. Friendly, helpful, great knowledge of the area, good with the selling tips, all of the staff were very polite too.
23rd Feb 2022 (4 years ago)I recently had to move after our previous landlord wanted to redevelop the whole building. I was dreading the prospect of moving and viewed about 15 different properties before eventually making an offer and having it accepted for a property let and managed by Millennium Residential. So far Marc has been great at getting everything ready and sorted for us to move in. I've had none of the problems I've had in the past with some other agents. Would definitely recommend for a more personal and straight forward experience.

25th Jun 2025 (11 mo. ago)I arranged a viewing for a flat advertised on Rightmove, only to find that the property looked nothing like the photos or floor plan in the listing. When I called to question this, I was told the wrong images had been uploaded “by mistake.” This is completely unacceptable and feels deliberately misleading. It wasted my time and gave the impression of highly unprofessional conduct. Listings should accurately represent the property — anything less borders on false advertising.

30th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I had a very good experience with Adam Thomas and Shannon Brosnan. Most importantly, Shannon was able to sell my flat when other estate agents had failed. I tried with two others before coming to them and they got me a good price and a great buyer. I am so relieved and grateful. Shannon is kind and helpful and really easy to deal with. I cannot rate her highly enough. I would say if you need to sell or let a property in north London, go straight to them!

24th Sep 2025 (8 mo. ago)Very disappointing experience. Not only was communication poor, but the property was never properly maintained despite repeated requests. Basic issues were ignored, leaving tenants frustrated and uncomfortable. This lack of care and professionalism made the whole experience unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend this agency.

The whole team was great, but I especially want to mention Lee and Arzu – they were both so kind, genuine and professional throughout the process of finding a flat for me and my partner in East London. It made everything much less stressful knowing I was dealing with people I could really trust. I’d happily recommend them to anyone.

2nd Sep 2025 (8 mo. ago)We let a property for 2 years via Reve. Nothing but positive things to say about it Sheng who was our main contact. Checkout was smooth and 2 years following leaving the property he reached out to us to arrange a refund for a hot water overpayment we had made but were completely unaware of. Trustworthy and helpful.
17th Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)Very disappointed, first they overvalued the property and told me in a matter of a fortnight I needed to reduce the price which I did, I then heard nothing for almost 2 months . Went to a different agent who sold the property within a week. When I looked at their marketing it was so much better and more professional than Bowyers. I do not like leaving negative reviews, however this reflects my experience with them.

19th Apr 2026 (6 weeks ago)Property may have been overvalued and marketing improved as we reduced twice and it hasn’t sold with Billinghams so we’ve moved to a new agent for a fresh look. Agent was good, it just wasn’t working for us.
