He was proactive throughout, followed matters up consistently and did everything he could to keep the transaction moving.<br><br>Thanks to Karl’s support and determination, we were ultimately able to reach a successful completion.<br><br>As someone who works in the property industry myself, I particularly appreciate an estate agent who remains actively involved and committed when a transaction becomes complicated.<br><br>Thank you, Karl, for going above and beyond.

We have just sold our house via the Benfleet office.<br>We purchased this property via them 8 years ago and returned to sell it 8 years later.<br>Fantastic service from start to finish. From our initial meeting and valuation with Darren to exchange/completion stages with Stephanie everything was seamless.<br>Great communication throughout, never had a problem getting in contact, always answer your calls and always provided updates/regular feedback.<br>All staff were polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very quick to arrange/confirm viewings and provide feedback. Anita, Denise and Alex always on hand.<br>Stephanie was great helping us to get to the exchange stage, helping chase solicitors and provide updates.<br>Thank you so much; such a lovely team

- 16th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)I first got in touch with leaders back in January 2026 for a valuation and said I did not want to go any further with a sale untill may/June time and the reason I went back with leaders is because they stuck to there word and didn't pressure me into trying to sell any earlier unlike a few other agents that I also had a valuation from<br><br>But from the 1st time I met a member of the halstead leaders team they was very professional and polite and dealing with many of the team over the last few months this has been the case all the way through also I liked the updates and help that I required when ever needed.<br><br>So yes I have left a 5 star review because I have found leaders to be a great agents and easy to deal with and would highly recommend them to anyone and if I ever get the chance to do business again i will look forward to it.<br><br>Thank you to all the team at leaders halstead.

27th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)These were not my agent but equally I have used WHB before and had a less than desirable experience. April- October 2026; This branch were obstructive, deflective and withholding of vital information in a 2 property chain that took 6 long and painful months. A buy to let buyer and my property at the end was empty!<br><br>Crucial information wasn’t divulged and WHB ignored phone calls&caused delays providing answers when we thought we were ready to exchange (multiple times).<br><br>That’s now 2 WHB branches that I’ve dealt with, that aren’t honest and have done a sub-standard job. The buyer at the bottom of the chain used WHB in-house advisor, and you might think this would speed up proceedings BUT it slowed everything down. WHB wouldn’t let anyone know what we were waiting for due to ‘GDPR’, when it simply turned out to be that there was a mortgage offer in place but the buyer couldn’t decide what they were doing, so hadn’t accepted the mortgage and had stopped all searches/conveyancing. This isn’t GDPR, this is openness and communication to the other clients in the chain. The other members of the chain have a right to know what stage the sale is at and if indeed they are willing to wait based on the facts!<br><br>I honestly think if WHB were a different agent this sale could and would have gone through in 3 months. They cost me money and stress. So I will always avoid them and anyone using them going forward.

I had many more viewings compared to the agents I had previously dealt with, showing how hard she will work for you. I was kept fully informed at all times, and when Sophie was not available the Lux teamwork kicked in and there was always someone else to help.<br><br>I don't believe you'll find a more professional yet fun person to deal with than Sophie - I highly commend her work ethic and approach, which made what can be a stressful time feel straightforward and totally supportive. Who knew selling a house could be fun!<br><br>I would 100% recommend Lux.
