From the very beginning, he really took the time to understand what I was looking for and was able to visualise the type of property that would be right for me and my family.<br><br>What really stood out was that Will didn’t make me feel like he was only focused on the seller. He genuinely cared about me as a buyer too, listened to what was important to me, and went above and beyond to help.<br><br>He’s incredibly friendly, personable and approachable, and dealing with him has been such a refreshing experience. I honestly wish every estate agent was like Will!<br><br>Thank you for making what can be such a stressful process feel so much more positive. You’re a credit to the profession! However, one day when I had some free time, I decided to answer one. The caller introduced herself as Preeti, and when she mentioned remortgaging, it immediately caught my attention because I was already researching better rates for my home and two rental properties.<br><br>Preeti clearly explained why she was calling, what the company did and how it could help. Her friendly, confident and reassuring manner immediately put me at ease and gave me confidence that she understood exactly what I was looking for. She answered all my questions, made the conversation enjoyable and quickly arranged an appointment with a financial adviser. She then sent the confirmation straight away.<br><br>I later spoke with Richard, who was equally helpful. He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He explained everything step by step and in a clear, logical order, which made it much easier to understand.<br><br>My experience with both Preeti and Richard has given me a very positive impression of Bairstow Eves. Receiving the same high standard of service from two different people says a lot about the company to be honest. I am very pleased that I decided to answer that unexpected call and have also arrange a call 3years down the line when the remortgage expires. :-)
17th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Outstanding service from Charlotte Micallef and the entire Beresfords Upminster team!<br><br>I honestly cannot recommend Charlotte Micallef and her team at Beresfords Upminster highly enough. Selling a house can be incredibly stressful, but Charlotte went so far above and beyond for myself and my family that I genuinely felt like she cared about us, not just about selling a property.<br><br>We found a house we really wanted, which meant we needed to get our own property on the market as quickly as possible. Charlotte absolutely delivered. She was working at 11pm and was back in at 6am, making sure everything was sorted so that our property could be ready to go on the market the very next day. That level of commitment and work ethic is exceptional.<br><br>Charlotte works incredibly hard and is a true asset to Beresfords. What also really stood out was how highly she spoke of her team and having dealt with them, I can completely understand why.<br><br>Josh in particular was fantastic. He worked incredibly hard, and it was clear to see how well Charlotte and Josh work together as a team. The other members of staff were also brilliant, keeping us in constant communication, providing feedback promptly and making sure we always knew what was happening. The whole team worked together brilliantly.<br><br>I actually chose Beresfords because of Charlotte. She spoke so highly of Beresfords and her team, and it was genuinely refreshing to hear someone speak with that much pride and belief in the company they work for. But, as we all know, when choosing an estate agent, you ultimately choose the person, not just the company and I chose Beresfords because of Charlotte Micallef.<br><br>If you are looking to sell your house in Upminster or, to be honest, anywhere call Charlotte Micallef. She is absolutely amazing, she gets the job done, she genuinely cares, and she has a fantastic team around her.<br><br>It is very easy to see why Beresfords are regarded as number one in Upminster and across Essex. Charlotte, Josh and the whole team were outstanding from start to finish.<br><br>Thank you, Charlotte and the entire Beresfords Upminster team. You were brilliant!
21st Aug 2026 (28 days ago)After experiencing several issues and having lost faith in our previous Harlow based letting agent, we approached Kings in Church Langley with a view to transferring our business, specifically Brodie Clark, their Regional Lettings Manager.<br>From our initial telephone contact with Brodie to our meeting with her in person shortly afterwards, she has been consistently knowledgeable, proactive, transparent and thoroughly efficient with regards to the transferral of the management of our properties. She has liaised effectively with our tenants, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and in place and on numerous occasions she persistently chased our previous agents who stalled the process.<br>Having instilled a much needed confidence in us, we are looking forward to dealing with Brodie and her team at Kings moving forward.

So helpful and friendly from start to finish.<br>Held my hand throughout and so patient.<br>Thank you all .- 20th Aug 2026 (29 days ago)Completely useless. Property listed for 2 months and not a single viewing.<br><br>I engaged Beresfords to sell my property at the beginning of June and apart from the initial visit they were totally inept. Every single thing they were responsible for either didn’t happen or was done so poorly that I had to do it myself!<br><br>1. They made no effort with the initial proposal for the online listing and brochure included the worst photos of my property, despite having taken other much more appealing photos. Key information (such as parking, refurbishments that had been completed etc.) was also missing. I had to provide extensive feedback for them to fix all of these points.<br>2. They did not put up a board outside for several weeks, and only did so when I questioned where it was. Excuse was “it’s the board companies fault”.<br>3. In 8 weeks they managed to find ONE potential viewer who cancelled the first appointment the day before and then on the second appointment did not even bother to turn up - I later found out she missed her mortgage appointment directly before, but nobody at Beresfords bothered to tell me this.<br>4. Despite the lack of viewings, and the fact that my property is modern, well presented, in a good location, and has a few unique/desirable features such as a garage and parking, Beresfords did not once contact me to suggest a new strategy or price amendment.<br><br>I cancelled my contract with them without giving the required 28 days notice and although they provided excuses as to why their performance had been poor, they did not try to enforce the notice period as they clearly knew they’d been totally incompetent.<br><br>The whole process was incredibly stressful, wasted lots of my time, and massively delayed my move. The final insult was that I had to follow up 10 days after I’d asked for the board to be collected as it was still outside my home!

She explained every step clearly, patiently, and without jargon — making the whole process feel manageable and even exciting.<br><br>Sarah was always on hand to reassure me, kept me updated at every stage, and went above and beyond to answer every single question — no matter how small. She is warm, kind, professional, and genuinely cares about getting things right.<br><br>I honestly couldn’t have asked for better support. If you’re buying your first home, Sarah is the person you want by your side. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

They responded almost immediately each time we sent an email or called for information. They took us seriously from the set go and made the negotiation process very simple. Kept us up to date throughout the transaction process. I’d highly recommend.
4th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)We had a long an frustrating time trying to sell my wife's parents bungalow after probate, not helped at all by the first estate agent we used who overpriced it in the first place and did very little to support the sale. We changed to Bear half-way through, and whilst things were still complicated by us losing a couple of buyers at the last minute, they were far more proactive and supportive. We have now finally completed. Special thanks to Megan, who in the end made it her personal mission to get us over the line.
