As first-time buyers we had no idea what we were doing, but she was incredibly kind, patient and reassuring. She showed us around the property three times and was always so friendly and accommodating.<br><br>Everyone we spoke to from Naomi J Ryan were absolutely fantastic and really helpful.

2nd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)Never answer the phone, rang constantly for 3 days. No answer machine. When I finally got through, was told that the house I was interested in was rented out a week ago - Why is it still online then? Useless.
30th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Rude and aggressive staff. Black mold everywhere and several basic utilities that don't work but they won't fix. Extortionate rent, constant inspections where they bully and harass you for things THEY haven't fixed. Unfair terms in the contract that could be challenged in court if all my money didn't go to rent. House falling apart. No sealing so house constantly letting in cold, heat, smoke, and bugs. Woodlouse, spiders, ants and slugs. Given over in a complete state. Nothing but rudeness and spitefulness from staff when I want to live in a home that won't kill me. Gor kicked out cuz the house is suddenly on sale. These people are the most vile, disrespectful people imaginable. Don't rent from them unless you want a migraine and don't mind living like a squatter. Didn't even get the deposit back after doing everyrhing they asked, being charged to repair things that were problems when I arrived, so obstensibly they are pocketing the money, not fixing the issue, and then continuing to steal money from tennants to "repair" issues that they never actually repair. Evil people, demons in suits. Avoid.

I got ignored for more than a month, prior the only communication I recieved was to keep reducing the price. 6 months on the market with 1 viewing, 2 days with a different estate agent at the same price and already have a viewing booked. They couldn't find my keys when I went to collect them and then found them but wouldnt return them to me. Completely unprofessional and I would not recommend to anyone.
1st Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)Nick Jane and Emma Dark managed our sale. Savills’ fee was very competitive. Nick and Jane and their team were excellent, communicating at all points, constantly on top of events, making sure that all parties in our chain of 5 (!) properties worked at speed and together. We’ve moved a number of times, but this is the best experience we have had with estate agents. I have no hesitation in recommending the Savills Exeter team.

They are a fantastic team and always have the time of day to get back to you if you have any issues at all. Always quick to respond to emails and get problems sorted. Absolutely fantastic team!

I’m planning to advise my daughter to use Fraser Wheeler to speed the sale of her two bedroom flat in Alphington in the very near future. I would recommend Sam and Fraser Wheeler without hesitation a first class team and a thoroughly professional Estate Agent based in Exeter

13th May 2022 (4 years ago)I first met Brett a couple of years ago when looking into the student market. I didn't do anything at that time. It was a pleasure to meet Brett again in July 2021 when viewing another property, and subsequently other properties. Brett is generous with his time, doesn't rush you, and tells you the facts as he sees them. I feel he gives his views and advice in a very straightforward manner which is what you want as a buyer or a seller. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brett for his professionalism, friendliness and someone to go to for advice. I have now met the Lettings side of Star and found them extremely helpful as well.
22nd Mar 2023 (3 years ago)I had a very, very disappointing experience with Star Lettings back in the summer of 2021 – I'd been served with a section 21”no fault eviction” due to an issue with mold in the bathroom floor (which it transpired was caused by a “long term leak under the bath”) I still owe money to southwest water because of this. I'd reported the issue with the moldy bathroom floor to Star Lettings some two years previously. This notice to vacate was on hold throughout lock down due to Government legislation but didn't do much for my peace of mind. In my experience it seemed that the landlord always came first and I lost half my deposit even when I'd cleaned the house as requested though it was difficult given the underlying mold issue that should have been addressed when I raised two years previously. I was also told that the flat would be completely renovated as the landlord planned to turn the place into an AirB&B (which I believe has happened) so I left the place completely empty with a clean up as best as I could (thinking I wouldn't overly invest too much time in it, given the renovation would be going ahead anyway) After moving I contacted Star Lettings about my deposit but Star Lettings tried to withhold my entire deposit, in the end I managed to get back half of this, but not without a struggle. I needed the money as it certainly wasn't easy finding a new flat immediately post lock down

The estate agents acted very professionally and promoted the property both in the shop window and online. The photographs of the property were good and helped advertise it.
31st Aug 2026 (17 days ago)We engaged Martin Durber for the sale of our house and it was such a pleasure to deal with an estate agent that actually listens to the home owner as to what they want from the sale , Martin did what he said and sold our home on the first viewing , it's the total professional way he presents your home quality photos and videos and a honest description of the house, while the sale is proceeding you here very little from Tamar estates seemed a bit worrying at first after previous dealings with estate agents but as Martin said he's done his job selling it it's now the conveyancing side turn to do there job, if I need an estate agent again then yes I would use Martin at Tamar estates again it's a shame he's not nationwide as I've moved to the other side of the country now. Thank you Tamar estates for the best selling experience I've had and there's been a few house sales over the years
