Great experience with rawlinson gold, very helpful staff in particular Mitchell providing us with everything we needed for first time renters. Fees were quite reasonable too.
I called and offered to take a flat the very day it was advertised.
Nick Sage (Harrow, Lettings) told me I'd be the first to view it. Chased him and was told to "be patient like the rest of them". Called a week later and the flat had gone, he had not even called me for a viewing. During the first call he asked me how much I earned, I actually TOLD him the gross amount. He then asked for post-tax and I said I was not sure and he actually said to me "you don't know how much you earn?" after I already gave him gross figures. The CHEEK of it. Total scum bag.
The call whereby I found out this bad news was answered by Sarah Smith (Harrow, Tenancy Manager) who got instantly defensive upon realizing they had balls'd it all up, spoke over me and had a disgusting trashy attitude. At first she said she could not confirm whether the flat had been let, I asked why and asked if she did not have access. Her response was then that she finished at 5pm (this was about 4.55pm) - I then said OK I will let you go and suddenly she changed her mind and went to her desk and checked. Spent half the call being told to shout (literally) because their phones are terrible.This woman was absolutely horrendous and foul mouthed.
Spoke to Steven Gosling, Lettings Manager. Profusely apologised - the only person in that office with any competence. However put the icing on the cake by asking me what my requirements were anyway (in case he could stitch me up with something else via. themselves).
Disgusting company I would not rent a shed from these jokers.
I was very happy with the service I received from Gibbs. My sale turned out to be rather long and protracted (not from any fault of theirs, it must be added) but I didn't get any sense of complacency or giving up from the staff.
Appalling customer service, THE WORST estate agency I have ever dealt with!! Having rented property for the last 20 years I am aware estate agents will lie through their teeth to get you on board and then be no help at all after you have paid the money to them. These agency staff in Rayners Lane are completely incompetent and their customer service is ridiculously poor. The management also dont accept any criticism and simply shrug their shoulders at their staff poor service. DO NOT rent through these people, they will RIP YOU OFF!! This agency should be closed, the staff are useless incompetent liars. I have given it one star as wasn;t able to give them half a point. YOU WILL regret renting through this agency!!
Blacklers have been great for us, very helpful, very friendly and long established in our area & with a good reputation.
A huge shame to Blacklers estate agent (Tony) and Robert Taylor (Margaret), they charge us £308 for reference checking and keep us aroumd 10 days for paper work.
They hunting us without any respect!!!

Form the first visit we were really impressed with their professionalism and enthusiasm for the house. They promised they had clients already on their books and true to their word they had viewings before we even had the house details ready they had viewings. 16 viewings with 5 offers within 2 weeks. Follow up support has been great and despite my reservations about Estate Agent charges I think they have earned their money and I'm pleased to be able to recommend them to you! Excellent service. Kept us fully informed with regular updates, chased our buyer when needed and were very professional throughout. Would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

Very unprofessional and unethical company. No consideration for customers. Felt like they are only interested in making any commission even if its very low. Pushing customers around and lowering the price without telling or asking permission. Not taking responsibility for their actions, rude and arrogant.
Having lived in Harrow Weald for over 30 years Steve Downes has valued our property approximately once every 8 years so it only seemed right that we should offer our home to Hinton and Downes for marketing when we finally decided to move in October 2017.
Within a week we'd had a very acceptable offer on our house meaning we could then make an offer on the house of our dreams in Bedfordshire. Unfortunately what should have been an easy and straightforward conveyance turned into the transaction from hell.
Over the next 10 months not only did the chain collapse but we also lost the house we wanted so desperately to buy. With pressure from the top of the chain, complexities at the bottom and anxiety and stress in the middle there were many occasions when it would just have been easier to stay put and not move at all.
Thankfully due to the care, consideration and professionalism from Hinton and Downes and their ability to work with other Agents in the chain we were able to re-secure the purchase of our dream-home once more.
Steve Downes has worked tirelessly over many, many months to get us where we all are today, which is completing tomorrow. Steve's communication with all parties has shown dedication, emotional intelligence, professionalism and kindness.

I was shown a 1 bed flat I really liked because of the price and location. The next day I put down an offer for the property. The lady never bothered to reply. I have emailed her,sent her emails, left voicemails etc. however she is never in the office and one of her colleagues is "investigating" what happened...
Very poor communication as they kept me hanging.
