Unfortunately following Ken’s death it was clear my sister was unable yo look after herself, thus she was moved to a care home and the property marketed. Owing to their ages the property was not maintained to original standards which created difficulties for some potential buyers. During this period the staff at Auckland Estates, particularly Grace and Paul, worked tirelessly in achieving a sale at an acceptable price, while acting fairly with both myself and the ultimate buyer. As such I am happy to recommend the service provided as professional, friendly and supportive.

I was particularly impressed with the marketing – the photography, virtual tour, drone shots and brochure were excellent and really brought the property to life. The whole process of getting the property listed was also very smooth and easy to manage online.<br><br>The sale itself ended up being a long and sometimes challenging process, but Jackie, Harry and the rest of the team were consistently helpful, responsive and proactive throughout. Harry in particular was great at keeping me updated and pushing things forward right until completion.<br><br>Really grateful for all their help and very happy to have got the sale over the line. I’d happily recommend the team.

14th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)We purchased a new home in Brookmans Park through this estate agency in 2024. Although they have a very good selection of properties, we were unfortunately disappointed with the service we received during the buying process.<br><br>After viewing the property, we informed the agency that we wanted to proceed with the purchase. However, we experienced significant communication problems during the mortgage process. In both telephone conversations and email correspondence, we did not receive the courtesy, attention or support we expected. This left us feeling that completing the sale and earning the commission mattered more than customer satisfaction.<br><br>Once the legal process was complete, the key handover also felt rushed. A member of staff from the office met us outside the property in the morning, handed over the keys and quickly left.<br><br>Overall, despite their good property portfolio, their communication and customer service fell short of our expectations. For such an important purchase, we would have expected a more considerate and supportive approach.
20th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)Used Ashtons as was a prospective buyer of a property they marketed. Not so many issues with the office but the sales progression team were always quite slow to respond and could never get through to the assigned person to my case. Additionally used ashtons to sell my property and I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience. The problems began immediately. The agency provided an initial valuation to secure our business in July, only to suggest a £25,000 price reduction after just one week, admitting there was no interest. Despite agreeing to the reduction, it did not correlate to an increase in activity which would lead to questions around marketing and resource as Ashtons list a lot of properties. By September, they had only managed to secure two viewings. We received absolutely no feedback from either of these viewings, despite requesting it, leaving us completely in the dark. Lastly thier fees are quite opaque and if youre new to selling read through everything very carefully. In the non flex fees there are baked in withdrawal fees that ensure ashtons get paid regardless if they sell or not. Which gives them little incentive to really push your property in my opinion. The alternative is you pay money up front to them to sell your property which is preposterous. Fundamentally all the agents use rightmove to market your property and that's where most people go to find houses. In summary: an inaccurate valuation, negligible effort, a complete lack of communication, and a devious fee structure designed to charge you even when they fail to perform.

From start to finish, Tayla was extremely professional and genuinely supportive at every stage. She answered all of my questions patiently and promptly, often before I had even had the chance to chase, and she kept in touch with regular calls to update me and check how things were progressing. She was always polite, approachable and a pleasure to deal with. Buying a home can be a stressful process, but Tayla and the team at Satchels made it so much easier. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell. Thank you so much for all your help!

It started with Will made amazing pictures of our property, marketed it well, priced it at the right price and process (although not smooth as it never is) was helped by the team there. Every question big or small answered, easy to get hold, very professional. I would use them again if we ever sell again.

Their response time is always quick and they don't just give you answers to what you want to hear, but helpful suggestions and support in this often complex world of real estate.<br><br>Their systems are really user friendly and very helpful to have a dashboard with all the information in one place.

Always available when you needed them and on top of things with the right follow ups. I would work with them when I need to sell or buy a property.

Chris in the lettings department deals with all our tenancies and is fantastic. To the point, no flannel, gets the job done and is honest. William in sales has also been very helpful in what we have asked. Would recommend.

Their marketing and advertising was slick, their arrangements for viewings, feedback, local property activity knowledge and pricing guidance was professional, honest and always delivered regularly, with consideration of their seller's wellbeing, during a normally stressful process. Once a buyer was secured, updates were timely and proactive. I cannot endorse Connells as a whole brand, but from my personal experience with Sam, Carmen and the rest of the team at Marshallswick, I'd 100% recommend them to sell your property...
