4th Mar 2026 (28 days ago)This review is nothing to do with a house sale but purely a thank you and an acknowledgement for the kindness and care shown to myself when my husband became unexpectedly ill near to their office today and the paramedics had to be called. The staff here were so kind to me helping me find a safe place to park our car, offering me support and even taking our 2 dogs into their office to care for them while I stayed with my husband. I do not know anyones individual names but we are both extremely grateful for your help in what was a very stressful situation for us.

28th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)Overall a mixed bag of opinions, chris himself who does the show rounds is lovely but buying your first home is a bit of a minefield to say the least, We had two failed property's with them. 1st property where the seller pulled out because we wouldn't pay 3.6k towards HIS defective lease this went on for a few months and resulted on us missing the deadline of our tenancy end in our current property. The estate agents was not considerate of the situation & didn't offer anything else within our criteria and just went about their day knowing we'd still be open to further properties as we were staying in air bnb's and hotels at the time. They just re listed the property as "newly" on the market when in fact it had been listed for the best part of 6-8 months prior. The second property we went to attend a viewing in which they hadn't pencilled in and we had to call whilst being stood outside for 15 minutes. to which we was told we never confirmed even though we had written confirmation of both ourselves and themselves agreeing a time etc, We was then rushed during this viewing because they'd double booked. We went onto register interest in another property and just never received a follow up. We shown interest in this property more than once left vm's and emails. If you're thinking about selling i would not use them as they don't care about you at all & have probably scared many other potential buyers off as well. After a whole year we managed to find a house with another estate agents stress free, This house did not come with free mould, soiled floorboards, leaking roofs, Landlord special cover ups & the area was not mis sold as a nice area when in fact it gave shameless a good run for its money.
11th Mar 2026 (21 days ago)We couldn't have wished for a better buying experience. This was our first time and we honestly didn't know what we were doing. Jo guided us through with care and compasion, treating us like humans and not just another transaction. Throughout the entire buying process and after many viewings with various agencies Jo stood out as the dream partner in the process. Thank you Jo! She advised us along the way, set reasonable expectations as we went and even referred contractors for things like moving, electrics and solicitors. While we mainly dealt with Jo, everyone in the team that we spoke to was also really nice and helpful, with anything that we needed. Well done team, we are some very happy customers.

13th Mar 2026 (19 days ago)Absolutely awful experience so far as a renter! We moved in early October 2025 and still as of March 13th 2026 there's STILL a load of rubbish left behind from a previous tenant/builder around the side and back of our garage. I have rang Gascoigne Halman many times to raise and chase the issue but nothing is being done about it. As renters the house should be ready to move into it shouldn't be on us to arrange and pay for the removal of this rubbish not left by us!- 17th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)All the staff is really kind and supportive, specially Jenny.
21st Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)Helpful staff with good communication, fees slightly higher than competitors but quick sale- 13th Oct 2025 (24 weeks ago)Reduced it within a week of being on the market so just shows they got the valuation so wrong. Communication was very poor. Only had two viewings first I had to chase feedback. Never given feedback from the last viewing. When I gave notice I was emailed to say 3 viewings had taken place. They had not. We have changed estate agents as a result of poor service.

Everything ran smoothly, communication was clear throughout, and the whole process was handled very professionally. She’s a credit to the company. The sale was completed in just over three months, which I was really happy with. Any questions I had were answered quickly, and they kept things moving at every stage. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient estate agent. Thanks again for making the process so straightforward!

19th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)I take no satisfaction in saying this is a very unprofessional disorganised outfit. I let my house out through them and initially seemed ok but soon turned out to be a nightmare. Phone calls and emails are very rarely returned or answered, the guy dealing with my house…Sam is off on a Monday so everything is put on hold until he returns and he remembers to get back to you. Payments frequently late without any reason or explanation and to top it all when tenants were moving out after having given notice they left it until a month before to re advertise it which resulted in my property standing empty for 6 weeks. I’ve since changed to a much more professional firm with whom I’m very happy. In the last two weeks I’ve sent an email and spoken to someone on the phone as i needed a tax statement for the year….you won’t be surprised to discover there’s nothing been forthcoming. Avoid like the plague.

Her communication, professionalism, and genuine care made the whole process so much smoother than we ever expected. Rita was always one step ahead — chasing things up, keeping us updated, and doing everything possible to make sure the sale went through. She’s honestly the most amazing person to deal with, and we can’t thank her enough for all her hard work and dedication. If you’re thinking about selling, we couldn’t recommend Rita and the team highly enough. She’s a true credit to the profession!
