11th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)I had a very good experience using Your Move to market and sell my flat. Glenn carried out the initial valuation and was very positive and informative.<br><br>Glenn and the team were easy to work with throughout the process right through to completion. The flat went to closing and sold within two weeks, which was a great result. Communication was always straightforward, and I felt well supported throughout the sale.<br><br>The only reason I’ve given 4 stars rather than 5 is that I carried out the viewings myself, so I didn’t experience all of the services Your Move offers.<br><br>I would happily recommend Your Move and would use them again in the future.
7th Jan 2026 (8 mo. ago)WARNING!! Richard murray acted as co executor having written my mothers will. He was not appointed by her but by her named executor. He sided and was partial to one group of beneficiaries over another. He chose the ones nearest the property of most help to him to side with, making his job easier. The family was fractured but he showed no ability to deal with this shutting down and refusing to engage with one side. Preferentially treating the other side. He went back on his legal advice reversing decisions that suited him. Including and implementing wishes he decided my mother made Verbally only to the one side of the family, the side he demonstrated favour with. When ‘wishes’ my mother had made to the other side were brought to him he dismissed them. Biased and unfair and cruel in his handling of the estate. Delaying the inheritance by permitting one beneficiary to live rent free in the property for some fourteen months post my mothers death. Not mentioned in the will, nor discussed. Between himself, his Company or my mother - but on the say so of the side he favoured! The implemented ‘say sos’ were decided without full disclosure or discussion or transparency and he was unaccountable in that He acted like a dictator refusing telephone calls , zoom meetings or email discussions. He dragged out a simple direct will into two years of hell, stress and unnecessary expense because he favoured and decided always in favour of one half of the beneficiaries over the other. Do not write a will with this Company. They have demonstrated they are incapable of writing one correctly , giving proper advice to my Mother , and incapable of implementing it as it’s written in any event. AVOID! It’s 2026 and there are still repercussions from Richard Murray @Connell&Connell’s mis writing and massive failures in executing our Mothers will. Save yourselves a whole lot of unprofessional and uncaring and biased,will handling and don’t use this man.

17th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)Fiona and Scott Brown at Connor Malcolm acted on my behalf for my house purchase in Dunbar. Moving up from London this was quite a big move, combined with being unfamiliar with the Scottish system. By far the best experience I have had with solicitors in when buying or selling. A personal service (not everything put into an online portal and no one to actually speak to). Scott was fully hands on. Happy to meet in person, and take calls when needed. Efficient, communicative, minimum of fuss. The whole experience was superb and I could not recommend them enough if buying a house.
10th Sep 2026 (16 days ago)This company allowed their client to get to moving date without doing their due diligence and properly verifying the source of funds, resulting in postponing the move date by 3 days for all 7 people in the chain.<br>This happened on the day the move was supposed to take place, weeks after everyone was in a legal binding contract!<br>Please avoid at all costs!
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

17th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)We had a viewing arranged this evening at Grosvenor Crescent with Cara Haston. We received a text this morning confirming that the viewing was going ahead at 6pm, so were very surprised when nobody from Savills turned up at the property.<br><br>We had both made the trip into Edinburgh specifically for the viewing and had each paid separately for parking nearby, only to be left waiting with no communication.<br><br>We tried calling the Edinburgh office, only to find that it was closed. Our call was redirected to the London office, where we were told they would try to find out what had happened and get back to us. Unfortunately, we never received a return call or any explanation.<br><br>It was a frustrating waste of both our time and money, particularly given that the appointment had been confirmed only that morning. It also doesn’t reflect particularly well on the service being provided to the seller, whose property was effectively left without a scheduled viewing taking place.<br><br>Overall, a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. We had expected a much higher standard of communication and organisation from Savills, given its reputation as one of the more established estate agents.

16th Jan 2026 (8 mo. ago)Had the privilege of working with Scott who helped me greatly in setting my property up initially as I purchased it on auction and so it was quite dilapidated and he helped in organising the refurbishment and brining it up to compliance. Further down the line I also had the privilege of working with Alex who helped me a great deal with giving me a fair and honest assessment of so many properties and the areas, and gave me very sound sincere advise on which to go for and which not to. He did a good analysis on rental projections. Overall it has been wonderful working with Zone Lettings as a whole.

They were always at the end of the phone and they continuously kept my partner and I in the loop, providing the necessary advice as required. The human interaction was very much appreciated in this digital age. It has been truly refreshing to deal with true professionals who provide the service promised. Stephen provided such an excellent personal service - right from the initial marketing to completion of the sale. He kept me informed throughout and provided very helpful advice. It felt very different from dealing with a large corporate agency as I’ve done in the past and I would not hesitate to recommend Cullerton’s.

7th Sep 2026 (19 days ago)We were hoping for a quick sale but to not compromise on the value of the property in doing so.<br>REMAX and Carol in particular did not let us down. Everything was explained clearly from the start. Great advice was given in preparing the house for the market. Then Carol took on the viewings too, so we could head out and relax knowing it was in safe hands.<br>The property sold at a very fair price both for us as the vendors and for the couple and small family who will take up residence soon.<br>It was important for us that the home got a continued love and investment. After all we’d been in there for almost 20 years!<br>A fantastic experience working with REMAX Linlithgow and highly recommend them for both buying and selling your property.
