29th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)Phoned the branch to sell our house, told the sales team would call us, they didn’t. Waited 2 weeks, filled in an online form asking for a valuation. A week later still no contact. Needless to say won’t be bothering a third time.

9th Apr 2024 (25 days ago)Be careful with your deposit. This company is very sneaky and will take at least half of it for 'cleaning' and minor damage which should come under wear and tear if you're an occupant of the house/flat for a certain period of time. They WILL NOT take this into account which is illegal. They will also avoid or defer discussions on the matter to other companies like DPS which makes it harder to claim your deposit back. They will also ignore black mould in a bathroom, even when asked to do something about it, and were slow to reply (weeks) on anything financial. Untrustworthy, unscrupulous and thieving.

They are friendly, always available and quick to respond and have lots of practical advice from their years of experience. They helped me reach the desired outcome. 17th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)May I take this opportunity to thank Emma Rose for your kind assistance during the sale of my property I was kept informed of every twist and turn during negotiations and advised,where necessary of what rights I had and valuable discussion on the best course to take, although I was in full control of the process. It was reassuring to have a professional property person acting on my behalf. Thank you again, should I ever consider moving again please feel free to shoot me, but if I did I would certainly contact you to act for me.
23rd Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)We’ve taken a little while to settle into our new home before making this review, As we wanted to make a true and honest review of our experience and how we felt. We went to Abbotts in Cromer to see a mortgage advisor and look at a property we fell in love with on right move. Our mortgage advisor Adam, was amazing. We were shown round by Simon and we loved it. So we put in an offer. This was accepted and the ball got rolling. We then found the communication with abbots go downhill. When we called we were always told they would call us back the same day however each time it was usually about 5 days later and after we already found out the information ourselves from calling the solicitor. So it seemed they were always one step behind. We found this to be annoying and thought maybe this was happening to us because we are first time buyers and we “don’t know any better” but this is just our theory. We were disappointed that the communication broke down. We ended up going through our mortgage advisor for everything instead of the estate agents as we got answers quicker and more efficiently. We would like to thank Adam and Olly at Country wide for going above and beyond for us. We really do think if we would’ve pulled out if it wasn’t for them! On completion day we had to remind them to give us the code to the back door so we could enter our property…as they said Watsons had our front door keys. When we went there they didn’t so it sent us on a wild goose chase to try and find the front door key to the flat building. We were given a number for us to call to organise ourselves to find the keys, which in our opinion this should have been sorted out in day of completion by them. Overall, we are happy we are finally in our home. We wouldn’t use abbots again. I know some people probably have a better experience with them but we unfortunately didn’t. We encourage any first time buyers to look about and ask about the best estate agents etc as we didn’t and we ended up regretting

Fantastic communication, updates and support through the very stressful aspects of moving. Particularly happy with the service provided by the staff when support / info was required when serving an accelerated eviction notice. The subsequent house sale was also managed very efficiently. Professional, knowledgable, friendly and reliable. Would recommend their services to any landlord, house seller or buyer.
