Charlie was always responsive and helped facilitate a sale pulling together all parties, and pushed to keep as close to our deadline as possible.

13th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)We put the house on the market in May 2026, after speaking to Philip Booth (and other estate agents) for over one year. He totally understood that getting ready for an international move is not a quick thing. The asking price was set realistically together and we got full asking price, within one week of putting it on the market and we only had one couple viewing. Quite a whirlwind and a great result. Margaret was our main contact from Philip Booth Esq and communication was quick, accurate when needed. What has stood out since we moved in September has been when the Post Office failed to redirect post etc (which was ordered and paid for and was suppose to start the week before we moved) the PB team and Margaret has helped beyond their remit with picking up post from the buyers, communicated about it and made sure we’ve received it. We are so grateful for everything. Selling a house and moving is never easy, physically or emotionally. So pleased we had and chose the right team supporting us on this journey. Thankyou.
19th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)I recently sold my house through Ted George. Their fee was surprisingly reasonable compared with other agents in the area. I was very pleased with the photographs of my property. I also found them to be very accessible and quick to respond with regard to communication, whether by phone, email or texts. So I was kept fully informed during the process. Would I use them again? Yes, I would.

From the start I was shown the property by Terry, and from there on in dealt mainly with Colin. I couldn't fault them. Any queries I had of which there were a few were sorted and dealt with. I feel I built up a good relationship with them and they went above and beyond to sort out any issues I had. I feel it was nice to work with a local independent company and to support local trade. 5 stars from me all round. Thank you Colin,Terry and your team. Many thanks
17th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Recently finally sold my property after a very long arduous selling process (no fault of Connells). Connells were amazing throughout seemed to be the only party at times to have my best interest. Charlie in particular was amazing reaching out and offering tons of support, especially when a buyer pulled out (again no fault of Connells) the had a new buyer within a week. Couldn’t recommend them enough and big thank you again to not only Charlie but the whole team.
26th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)Excellent service throughout from the whole team. As a first time buyer I had a lot of questions and the staff at David Richens were great at answering them and providing reassurance. This was a fairly long saga of a purchase (through no fault of DR) with a number of twists and turns, but David Richens have been great throughout keeping us informed of the progress and acting as an intermediary between all the members of the chain. I cannot recommend them highly enough as a firm with a huge amount of local knowledge and a friendly personal touch.
9th Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Would not recommend this estate agents. I had to chase them for feedback every time (however, only had 7 viewings in 4 months!) didn’t hear from them at all for 7 weeks! NO communication at all!! Arranged viewings with totally unsuitable prospective buyers (e.g. a lady with an electric car who wanted to install an electric hook up when there is no driveway-on street parking). Felt forgotten about as the office wasn’t in our town. Worse than disappointing.

7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. 5th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Agents under valued our property- we ended up going elsewhere and managed to get 80K more than this agency wanted to put it onto the market for. To me, the agent didnt really seem to know what they were talking about. Owner seems more interested in opening new shops then helping with current clients and wasnt very attentive whilst showing him around. Would not recommend unfortunately.

31st Oct 2026 (1 day ago)We recently sold our house through Turners and have nothing but good things to say about them. We had a few false starts getting our house to market and Jeremy and the team were very patient, understanding and supportive of our situation. Once we found a buyer and a house they maintained communication, chased where necessary but were never pushy or insinuated we were asking too much of them. It is only the second time we have bought but it was a world away from the larger chain we bought our first house through. I can't recommend them enough.

From the start, they were friendly, approachable, and really took the time to understand my situation.<br><br>Grace made the whole mortgage process feel a lot less overwhelming. She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident at every step. Nothing ever felt rushed, and I genuinely felt like she had my best interests in mind.<br><br>Thanks to her help, I was able to move forward with getting my mortgage, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’d highly recommend Grace and Tom to anyone looking for honest, professional, and supportive advice.
