29th Jun 2026 (11 weeks ago)I would very much recommend using Allen and Harris in Witney. Aishah and Jarrod were amazing, constantly updating and communicating with us. Jarrod is still a trainee but would like to say how impressed we were with his knowledge about our house and how he communicated that information to the viewers. He has a presence about him that will make a great estate agent and an asset to the team.

2nd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)As a 23 year old who as never bought a property before I was full of anxiety and thought I was definitely going to have a nervous breakdown until I met Poppy I went into my appointment knowing nothing about mortgages and came out feeling like I knew everything (I didn't but felt like I did) the way Poppy went through it and explained it me as a complete novice was so much appreciated. Such a lovely helpful person and a very patient and reassuring person in my times of panic. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Poppy.- 11th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)We’re very grateful to Zoe for helping us finally get our purchase over the line after an extremely stressful seven month process, despite there being no chain involved. Zoe was persistent, proactive and supportive throughout, always chasing updates and keeping us informed even when communication from the sellers, NatWest, as well as their own solicitors, was extremely poor. We honestly don’t know how she managed to deal with them for so long, they were repeatedly unresponsive and very difficult to progress with. One thing we would say to anyone considering buying a repossession property is to think very carefully beforehand. The property remained on the market the entire time, our offer price was publicly displayed online, and viewings continued while we were already deep into the process. As first time buyers, this added a huge amount of unnecessary stress and uncertainty. Unfortunately, this was something Connells failed to make clear to us before we became financially involved with our solicitors and the purchase process. Despite all of that, the team at Connells were genuinely helpful and did what they could once they understood what we were dealing with. Zoe especially went above and beyond to finally get us into our home.
4th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)Used another estate agents in Bicester before using Thomas Merrifield but did'nt feel that they were doing much for us. Changed to Thomas Merrifield and the difference was amazing. John and Sharon who we dealt with the most were great, really knowledgable of the area, the valuation of the house and advising us all the way through the process. Nothing was too much trouble, communication was excellent. Overall, very pleased.Connells - Cowley

Still no progress.<br>Connells still hold onto the deposit without cause or explanation.<br><br>Are Connells in financial difficulties?<br>Is that the reason they are failing to return security deposits?<br><br>Are Connells going bancrupt?<br>.................................<br>3. Update late July 26...<br>Avoid, go anywhere else but here.<br><br>Still without good cause they have yet to return the tenants deposit. What an outfit. Why would anyone permit them to hold someones deposit?!!!<br>............................<br>Avoid, go anywhere else but here.<br><br>2. Update July 26.....<br>Then to confirm the lack of professional standards employed, they unilaterally cease control of the Tenants Security Deposit & refuse to hand it back without cause. What an outfit. Incompetent, deceitful, money grabbing sharks.<br><br>1. What an unpleasant experience dealing with these people. Started well enough when they were selling something but rapidly fell apart when had to perform.<br>Local staff blindly followed the single company line making a mockery of their "bespoke service to landlords", then exceeded their brief & authority & finally overcharged.<br><br>Clearly a ridged centrally controlled business unable to trust local staff who were found to be lacking in understanding, experiance & customer awareness.

He is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, and takes the time to answer all our questions. His customer service has been excellent throughout, and we’re really pleased with how everything has been handled. Would happily recommend. She was always available to answer our questions, kept us updated, and went above and beyond to help make what could have been a stressful experience much easier for us.<br><br>As first-time buyers, we really appreciated her guidance and support. She made us feel confident and reassured at every stage, and we are very grateful for everything she did to help us complete the purchase of our first home.<br><br>We would also like to say a huge thank you to Danielle, the mortgage advisor, for all her help in arranging our mortgage. She was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the mortgage process, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process much easier for us.<br><br>We would also like to thank Kevin, the manager, for all his support behind the scenes and for creating and leading such a fantastic team. Later when the prior sell fell through, he was quick to chase up with us. And now we're delighted to be moving into our forever home. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

5th Nov 2025 (10 mo. ago)Agents under valued our property- we ended up going elsewhere and managed to get 80K more than this agency wanted to put it onto the market for. To me, the agent didnt really seem to know what they were talking about. Owner seems more interested in opening new shops then helping with current clients and wasnt very attentive whilst showing him around. Would not recommend unfortunately.

31st Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. It took almost four months for us to receive our deposit back, during which time we were repeatedly pressured to accept almost £400 in proposed deductions.<br><br>We disputed the charges and ultimately took the matter to independent adjudication, which rules in our favour. This was particularly frustrating given that the issues had been reported during our tenancy and necessary maintenance was not carried out in a timely manner.<br><br>This was unfortunately part of a wider pattern of poor property management. At one point during the tenancy, we were left without gas, meaning we had no hot water or cooking facilities, for months while the landlord and boiler company disputed payment.<br><br>Overall, we felt that the focus was on passing maintenance costs onto the tenants rather than properly addressing issues during the tenancy. The fact that independent adjudication ultimately found in our favour was very telling.

After meeting with several estate agents, it was clear that Luke was the right person to handle our sale. He quickly understood the property, set out a clear strategy, and impressed us with his honesty, flexibility, and ambition.<br><br>Communication was excellent throughout, with Luke always available to answer questions and offer guidance. Tiffany was also a pleasure to work with, helping with viewings and queries, while Mark provided great support whenever Luke was away.<br><br>We accepted an offer within days, and despite a few inevitable hurdles before completion, the process was smooth overall thanks to Luke and the team. We would have no hesitation in recommending Thomas Merrifield to anyone looking to move in the area.

After making an offer that was accepted, Matt was instrumental in liaising with the property owner for access to the property before completion in order to complete renovation works. He communicated well, responded to requests in a timely manner and nothing was too much trouble. And he answered his phone when I rang. We moved in on July 29th and couldn't have done it without his help.<br><br>I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt and Knight Frank in Henley if you're buying or selling property in this area.
2nd Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)A brilliant experience with Waymark Wantage. Our conveyancer was dreadful and made the whole buying journey very stressful. I'm convinced if it wasn't for Waymark - and in particular Yas Sutcliffe - our home purchase would not have been possible.
