3rd Oct 2026 (29 days ago)My property was on the market over four months. But couldn't sell it. Price wasn't too high. Didn't have any viewings almost three months. Connells asked to reduced price three times and I was agreed. But they couldn't make many viewings. Only four viewings had and they asked to reduce price again I didn't agreed. Because that price wasn't too high. Couldn't sell my property with them. I am not happy about their overall service ??????- 4th Oct 2026 (28 days ago)Very professional.

Changed to Thomas Merrifield and the difference was amazing. John and Sharon who we dealt with the most were great, really knowledgable of the area, the valuation of the house and advising us all the way through the process. Nothing was too much trouble, communication was excellent. Overall, very pleased.Connells - Cowley

6th Oct 2026 (26 days ago)I’d like to praise Ruby, the lettings negotiator, for a fantastic service. After my previous tenant gave notice, Ruby was quick to let me know and quickly found a range of excellent potential tenants. She moved quickly to ensure all contracts were signed and her communication with me was excellent. The new tenant moved in the day after the flat was vacated, and Ruby even arranged for gas inspection/certificate on same day. A superb managed-service. Well done Ruby!

He is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, and takes the time to answer all our questions. Throughout the entire letting process, she demonstrated professionalism, excellent communication, and a genuine commitment to finding the right tenant for our property.<br><br>In an era of increasing Rental Reforms, selecting the right tenant has never been more important, and this is where Rosie truly excelled. Whenever we had questions, she would reply quickly and if she didn't know a reply, she would find out for us through the proper channels and keep us updated throughout the process. When moving house is as stressful as it is, Lauren made the process 10x easier through clear, constant communication.<br>Thank you Lauren and the William Jones team for all your support! Would highly recommend.
7th Oct 2026 (25 days ago)As with most REA, wish I could give 0 stars for renting. Never fixed a problem that was there from the start of tenancy, and some maintenance issues that were raised were often met with condescending advice (surprisingly yes, I can tell if the boiler is not turning on).<br><br>It’s incredible how the checkout report was the most ridiculous fiction I’ve ever seen. Particularly “Phil” and what they deemed worthy of taking our deposit for. Had a professional clean yet somehow was finding nanoparticles of dust on door handles, left the place better than what we were given but obviously they don’t care.<br><br>Managed to get all the deposit back through the DPS, because the proof they had for all the claims were a farce. Hope it was worth the time, I’ll spend much of my life making sure REA’s like these don’t steal from people renting :)<br><br>For anyone in the future, fight everything through DPS. They are incredibly fair and don’t treat you like scum of the earth

After meeting with several estate agents, it was clear that Luke was the right person to handle our sale. He quickly understood the property, set out a clear strategy, and impressed us with his honesty, flexibility, and ambition.<br><br>Communication was excellent throughout, with Luke always available to answer questions and offer guidance. Tiffany was also a pleasure to work with, helping with viewings and queries, while Mark provided great support whenever Luke was away.<br><br>We accepted an offer within days, and despite a few inevitable hurdles before completion, the process was smooth overall thanks to Luke and the team. We would have no hesitation in recommending Thomas Merrifield to anyone looking to move in the area.

After making an offer that was accepted, Matt was instrumental in liaising with the property owner for access to the property before completion in order to complete renovation works. He communicated well, responded to requests in a timely manner and nothing was too much trouble. And he answered his phone when I rang. We moved in on July 29th and couldn't have done it without his help.<br><br>I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt and Knight Frank in Henley if you're buying or selling property in this area.

She was incredibly knowledgeable about the market place, the local area and was realistic with what we'd achieve for our property.<br>We had a bumpy road with the turbulent housing market, and it was a long journey to sale. However, Yas was there for us throughout the entire process. Yas always made me feel like she had all the time in the day to talk to me, I always felt valued and listened to.<br>Yas would always keep us in mind for onward purchases too. She showed us around a couple of properties, and was incredibly knowledgeable about them, and whilst the properties weren't right for us, the expertise Yas showed outshone other viewing experiences we'd had by miles.

The team at The Oxfordshire Property Agent went far above and beyond to make our sale seamless, stress-free and completed in record time. Their communication was top-notch and they even helped coordinate tradespeople on the ground while we weren't around and managed items for us. Their commitment, attention to detail and local independent service put them miles ahead of larger corporate agents. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a top-tier estate agent.

Complete waste of our time and a shocking response afterwards.<br><br>I arranged to view a property on McLean Drive in Oxford on Saturday 17th October at 10am with an estate agent named Ibrar Hussain.<br><br>I made it very clear to Ibrar that we were travelling two hours specifically for this viewing, and he agreed to meet us at the property at 10am.<br><br>We got two children up early on a Saturday morning, made the two-hour journey to Oxford and arrived as arranged. Unfortunately, Ibrar was nowhere to be seen.<br><br>We waited outside the property until 10:20am, but nobody arrived. No phone call, no apology, no explanation. Just a completely wasted morning and a four-hour round trip.<br><br>What has annoyed me even more is receiving an email this morning from Ibrar Hussain claiming that he was at the property from 10am until 10:30am and had waited half an hour for us!<br><br>I find this absolutely astonishing, as we were physically at the property during that time. I also have photographic evidence to support our account of events.<br><br>Mistakes happen, appointments get missed, and people occasionally get their wires crossed. I can accept that. What I cannot accept is having our account of events contradicted and being made to feel as though we were the ones who failed to turn up.<br><br>A simple apology and an attempt to put things right would have gone a long way. Instead, Ibrar’s response has made an already frustrating experience considerably worse.<br><br>When people are considering renting a property, particularly when relocating from another area, they should be able to rely on estate agents to honour agreed appointments and communicate professionally.<br><br>This experience has left me extremely disappointed. Our time, fuel and effort were completely wasted, and the response afterwards demonstrated, in my opinion, a complete lack of accountability
