7th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Scott Fraser. We attended a scheduled viewing only to find that the agent didn’t turn up. We ended up being shown around the property by the current tenant, which is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. When this was raised, the response and apology from Liberty were minimal and lacked any real accountability. Despite this, we remained serious and submitted an offer. We were clearly told by liberty we would be contacted if there was an opportunity to improve it. That contact never came. Instead, we later found out the landlord had accepted another offer without any communication to us, despite expectations being set. The entire process was poorly handled, disorganised, and lacked even the most basic level of professionalism or courtesy. As someone who has previously worked in estate agency, it’s genuinely surprising to see this level of service still happening. Experiences like this only reinforce the negative stereotypes around the industry. Would not recommend.

When we ran into some system glitches, she quickly found solutions and handled everything manually to keep things moving. Super efficient, friendly, and professional. 5 stars all the way!

She provided helpful advice when any issues arose, dealing with matters promptly for both myself as the landlord and my tenants.

On both occasions call-backs were promised but never happened. It seems they can afford to turn away potential clients and business. We will now use other agents.

1st May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Graeme Pierce at Thomas Merrifield, Kidlington is a top, top professional. Estate Agents have traditionally taken a lot of stick with their fees being seen as easily earned. Not on this occasion. Graeme managed a difficult sales process with patience, with calmness and with superb people skills. Graeme earned every penny of the fee he charged, overcoming several obstacles and using the experience he has accumulated to assuage the various personalities within a complex chain. Navigating rentals is definitely challenging so Julia’s attentiveness and positive attitude was very comforting. From the outset, they were professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient in helping us find the right tenants for our property. 4th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)College and county has looked after two rental houses for me for several years and they take all the hassle out of my life. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
