29th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)Saj and the rest of his team are con artists, absolutely disrespectful, rude and dishonest. He lied about the amenities in the newly built apartment we were renting, costing us time and money to fix the issues. We could not work from home for 3 months bc we couldn’t have WiFi over the 2 floors of the apartment. They would come for inspection and walk around in their shoes talking to us like we are some peasants, patronising us with every little thing and harassing us via emails. When we moved out they kept our deposit for “cleaning services” despite the flat being cleaned by us and didn’t provide any original receipts but their own made up invoice costing us 2/3 of our deposit and gave us back the remaining of it a whole year later. Overall our losses came to about £3k for renting a 4 bedroom apartment for only 14 months from them. Just a disgrace and you can see they are lying in your face openly and do not feel any guilt. Everyone who we dealt with was either ignorant, lying or rude especially Nicky and Saj.

We had a lot of questions for being first time renters and he was more then happy to answer every single one. Very professional and friendly, definitely recommend him if you’re looking to rent soon. He goes above and beyond for his clients. He has got us exactly what we wanted both times. The whole team are excellent and willing to help you ??????

Recently I have used them to find a new tenant and to sort out redecoration in a very short space of time which they did brilliantly. Both Tracy and Charlotte have been very helpful, proactive and kept me updated with each development. I highly recommend them.

A big thank you as well to Adam Brittain, Senior Property Advisor, whose knowledge, guidance, and professionalism made such a difference. He was always helpful and reassuring throughout the journey. And of course, Freya Tilbury, Trainee Property Advisor,our very first point of contact! Freya was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful from the moment we stepped in to view the property. 22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. They initially managed my flat as a rental property and were consistently professional, responsive, and proactive throughout. They made the entire letting process completely stress-free and always handled any issues quickly and efficiently. They also supported the sale of the property and I would highly reccomend them, in particular Michael, who was fab! The sales process ended up being longer and more complicated than expected, but throughout it all Michael was incredibly patient, supportive, and reassuring. I always felt I was in safe hands and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michael to anyone looking for a reliable and highly effective estate agent.
