3rd Jul 2026 (26 days ago)Bartlams…..where do you begin<br><br>The guys at Bartlams have been very very good, and to me it is only one estate agent in Wombourne I would trust having previously used others.<br>From initial contact with Finn for our valuation and then on to his team especially Ellisia who has battled through a very protracted sale with delays, delays and more delays and just when we were about to throw the towel in she kept us going and made sure everything stayed on track.<br>Sometimes company’s don’t realise how valuable their staff are and I take my hat off to the Bartlams team for their professionalism and honesty throughout.<br><br>If you are buying or selling a house in Wombourne forget the rest and try the best it’s got to be Bartlams for you!<br><br>Cheers Guys<br>Dave and Mandy

I can Highly Recommend using this agency. I was not even a client and Alex and the team all went over and beyond to provide me with keys to a flat I purchased. I arrived late on a Saturday and they moved mountains to make keys avail to me. I am now a client, but was not at the time they did all this for me. They truly earned my business and my trust. I can assure anyone reading this that this office is truly amazing, young fresh minds with Good Old Fashioned Values. Many Thanks<br>P.S. 26th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)We have purchased two properties through this estate agent (with one purchase still ongoing) and unfortunately the experience has been disappointing!<br>Communication within the office staff has been very poor, and it often felt like staff were not communicating with each other. When our solicitors experienced delays, we were repeatedly threatened that the properties ( both of them) would be put back on the market, despite this never actually happening! This created unnecessary stress during an already demanding process.<br><br>In addition, both surveying companies we used commented on the difficulties they had communicating with this estate agent, which suggests our experience was not an isolated one.<br><br>While we appreciate that an estate agent acts on behalf of the seller, we felt there was very little effort to facilitate the process for the buyer or keep everyone informed. Overall, the lack of communication and the way issues were handled made what should have been an exciting experience far more frustrating than it needed to be.

Definitely recommend them- 9th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)Whilst my house sale proved to be anything less than straightforward, I was kept up to date at all times by Stuart and Sabi which helped with my frustrations. I relied upon them far more than my solicitors and was comforted by their level of knowledge with the whole process. Hopefully I won't be moving again but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to use the perton branch again because of their help and professionalism.

20th Jul 2026 (9 days ago)I would highly recommend John German in Uttoxeter for anyone selling their home in the Uttoxeter area. From the moment Matt arrived to talk through the process and pricing, we felt very well looked after. The photographs and particulars are very high quality indeed - nothing was too much trouble and they use the very latest tech. Viewings were frequent and we were always given details about the position of those coming to view by Debbie, Charlotte, Emily and Jayne. Then, once we had found a buyer, the progression was well managed by Becci too. Thanks to everyone involved for a job well done.- 1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, with regular updates and quick responses to any questions we had. Their valuation was accurate, and their knowledge of the local market gave us great confidence from the outset. The team were professional, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help. We felt supported throughout what can often be a stressful process, and everything was handled efficiently from start to finish. Excellent value for money and a genuinely first-class service. Thank you for taking the time to reply but looking at your previous responses to other disgruntled customers, you appear to be not the best at taking criticism nor accepting poor performance on your part. Liars and thieves...<br>Rented a property from them that was in an appalling and dirty state, with mould growing all over the walls and a carpet that had never been cleaned in its 20yr lifetime, and bathroom tiles that were yellow with grime, and that was the tip of the iceberg, Yet they had listed all these things in their inventory as "Good Condition - Clean" (Inspection carried out by themselves of course) and it was simply not true... Had to pay a professional cleaner to bring the house into a livable standard at my own expense...<br><br>When it came to leaving the property, they demanded large cleaning bills claiming the property had been left dirty, which again - was not true... Property was left in a higher standard that passed to us.<br>It's clear all they do, is hand you a property and list everything as perfect, then when you leave list everything as imperfect and demand money for it.<br><br>Crooks, liars and thieves... Samuel makepeace were amazing at arranging a viewing and dealing with my offer and acceptance in record time. Fast forward just over three months we have move in date set in the next two weeks time. Ella thank you for all your hard work, outstanding communication and of course being lovely friendly and professional with every communication we had. 18th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)I am very disappointed with how this purchase was handled.<br><br>It became clear that your focus was largely on the seller’s interests rather than ensuring a fair and transparent process. While I understand your role, there is still an expectation of honest and professional negotiation.<br><br>The property required significant work, yet our attempts to negotiate based on its condition were dismissed without meaningful discussion. Instead of acting as an intermediary, it felt as though unrealistic expectations were being reinforced.<br><br>We invested considerable time, money, and emotion, but our concerns about the property’s condition and associated risks were not taken seriously.<br><br>Overall, the experience lacked transparency and fairness, and it was difficult to feel that our position was properly represented. I would struggle to recommend your agency and hope future buyers receive a more balanced and honest service.
