27th Apr 2026 (9 days ago)There are Estate Agents and then there is Spencer Darrington. He really is a league above every other Estate Agent I have come across. Personal but professional. Sold our house within a week which has been on the market for over a year. We moved on to exchange and completion which was done in 16 weeks with Spencer checking in everyday with the whole chain working tirelessly to get it finalised as I had a deadline. So if you want your house sold efficiency and effectively I would use Spencer at Curcholds every time.

Our search was in the Sanderstead, South Croydon, Purely and Caterham areas which there South Croydon branch covers. From our first contact with Grant he took the time to understand what it was that we were looking for and this ultimately led us to the lovely house we now own. We had been looking for a while with other agents and had started to feel like we were waisting our time. Grant then talked with us about a lady’s property that was just about to come off the market it sounded perfect for us! He managed to get us in for a viewing really quickly . The house was just what we were looking for! Grant and Nicola were very helpful and professional throughout the process. communication was excellent. Any issues answered quickly and throughly. It was a very positive experience with Nicola and Grant. Thank you both very much
25th Nov 2025 (23 weeks ago)Christies did a lot of research to ensure the valuation was realistic and achievable - the marketing materials were excellent - the viewings process was straightforward, we always knew what has happening and when. As Christies have a few offices in the area our property had maximum buyer exposure which has resulted in a good offer that we have accepted within one month of launch. Thanks Perry and team.
30th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)We recently sold our flat through shaw and co and our entire experience has been absolutely fantastic. Sheetal Suri did the initial valuation and was very polite and informative about the market and how shaw and co would handle the process if we did choose them. Having met a few other estate agents I was convinced that this firm would be the best to go with. We landed an offer within a couple of viewings and from offer accepted to completion Jindra Lall was at hand. She was always assisting us and enabled us the close the transaction quickly. We are really pleased with our whole experience of dealing with shaw and co and would not hesitate to recommend them for any sales.
4th May 2026 (2 days ago)Barnard Marcus is an awful company, treating customers as they please. They may start ignoring you, not responding to calls and emails, never fulfil their promises and delay the return of your deposit. Lack of their internal communication between Sutton and Leighton Buzzard branches are laughable. One branch tells you one thing, another branch something else. They can't even make an effort by talking to each other. Avoid at all cost.

10th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)Very deceptive, do not try to buy a property with them if you value your time, they are very shady and will try to squeeze extra money from you at every chance, making up fake competing offers and telling you stories that doesn’t make any sense
30th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the Hamptons teams (Sevenoaks and Blackheath) for managing the sale of our five bedroom property in Chislehurst. Hamptons marketing to potential purchasers resulted in a regular viewings by worthy parties. In addition, the communications we received before and after each viewing was much appreciated so that we always felt appraised of the interest in our property. In the lead up to exchange of contracts and then sale completion, Hamptons played very helpful role to liaise with our purchasers. This enabled a smooth and amicable path to completion. For their professionalism, knowledge of the market, attention to detail, regular advice & guidance and first rate communications, we would recommend Hamptons without reservation.

They are always a phone call or email away to answer any questions and super friendly to deal with. Thanks again to you both.

Andrew's guidance on selecting the best buyer helped to keep the sale secure despite our complicated onward move. And Rebecca Thomas brilliantly managed the whole process with pro-active and responsive communications that kept everything on track through to completion on deadline. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team at Reigate to anyone looking to sell a property in the area - they are friendly, professional, knowledgeable. And, unlike some other local agents we've dealt with, they focus their efforts on selling homes, rather than building their social media influencer profiles.
