The quality of care, professionalism and support is outstanding, both for Landlord and Tenant. Dealing with Reece and Ian has been an absolute delight. If I could give them more than 5*, I would.

10th May 2021 (5 years ago)Appalling experience, don't use these agents. No due diligence, no clear information, no urgency in anything they do. I've gone with other agents now having wasted 4 months on what should have been a straightforward no chain sale.

31st Jan 2025 (1 year ago)The BEST estate agents! We've had a long journey with our house move and Foundations were incredible at every step. They worked hard to ensure we got the best deal for our house sale, lining up back to back viewings, following up with individuals, even spotting early on (before it became a much bigger problem!) when a buyer submitted an offer but then disappeared. It was almost no suprise when the house we'd offered on fell through and Foundations saved the day again, finding our dream house and securing the purchase. They really listened and understood our position and what we were looking for. I will be recommending them to everyone!

Throughout the whole process Nick and Adam have always kept us informed with updates and were always quick to respond back with any questions we had.<br>Which gave me such a peace of mind.<br>We had dealt with another estate agent (well known one) with a property that had structural issues and didn’t feel as though they cared when we explained our reasoning to why we couldn’t go ahead, just wanted us gone.<br>So to have gone from that experience to McKenzie Smith was such a relief. It definitely felt more personal.<br><br>So from me and Michael thank you so much guys!!

31st Aug 2026 (17 days ago)We were impressed with their post sales service. We were buying/selling within a chain where Jackson-Stops Oxted was one of the appointed estate agents. We felt that Jackson-Stops were the most diligent of the estate agents in the chain, and they were best at ensuring that all parties in the chain were moving forwards. They seemed most aware of progress and any hitches in the chain at any given point. All fees being equal, we would use Jackson-Stops next time we sell a house.
27th Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with Ralph James while trying to rent a property at Helena House, Royal Earlswood, ahead of starting my new job at East Surrey Hospital.<br>I viewed the property with an agent named Hugo Cina. Following the viewing, I received what appeared to be legitimate emails containing the tenancy agreement and payment instructions. During the process, I was told that iI needed to pay the 5 weeks rent as deposit at first, and then told to pay 2 weeks rent as deposit for them to send me the contract letter. When I questioned why I was being asked to pay more than the usual holding deposit- which is one week's rent, I was encouraged to make the payment quickly so that the tenancy could proceed.<br>I subsequently received bank account details that I was told belonged to the landlord and, relying on those instructions and the accompanying telephone conversations, transferred £346. I have retained copies of the emails, call records and payment confirmation.<br>The following day, when I contacted the agency, I was informed by a senior member of staff, Sam, that their email system had been compromised. Since then, despite numerous phone calls and emails to both Sam and the Head of Lettings, Katie, I have received no meaningful response or assistance regarding the money I lost.<br>I have now submitted a formal police report regarding the suspected fraud. The lack of communication and support from the agency after being informed of the incident has been extremely disappointing.<br>Whether the payment resulted from a compromise of their systems or another cause is something for the relevant authorities to investigate. However, as a prospective tenant, I acted entirely in good faith, relying on communications that appeared to come directly from the agency.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this agency. I hope they improve their security, communication and support for customers who find themselves in situations like mine.<br><br>I would not recommend their services as they are not secure, professional and aren't helpful at all.

Alex and Daisy were enthusiastic and knowledgeable and within 2 weeks we had an offer on our house. The communication throughout the process has been excellent. We would highly recommend AR Real Estate.
