3rd Apr 2024 (23 days ago)Purchased an office chair recently, came incomplete, missing the whole middle part that puts everything together (see photo). The description did not mention anything about it being incomplete, it just stated "LAZBOY OFFICE CHAIR". The photos did not indicate that there would be missing parts. Now I'm out £168 and pieces of a chair. Please be careful and don't bid to avoid dissapointment and financial burdens.

(80 reviews)26th Mar 2024 (4 weeks ago)I recently had the pleasure of working with Dawson Estate agent marina branch Swansea viewing properties for my clients I must say Aysha one of the sales agents was extremely helpful knowledgeable professional and down to earth she took her time to explain everything in great details, I went to the office and they were closed but she was still willing to help me it’s one of the best estate agents I’ve ever worked with, Aysha introduced me to her manager Kelly who was very knowledgeable and pleasant I’m hoping we can close a deal soon I will highly recommend Dawson estate agent marina branch Swansea I would have given more than 5* if it was possible
8th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Our personal experience with Peter Allen is a disgrace from start to finish. Paid for a service which we did not have. Paid a lot of money to them for nothing apart from putting a sign up and 2 viewings. A complaint is going to there head office over a few other things. Will never use them again.

A fantastic team of professionals who kept me well informed through the whole process and worked really hard to market and sell my house. Lovely bunch of people too. A massive thank you to the whole team but giving the biggest thank you to David Wachowski what a guy! So helpful nothing is too much for him very professional and always reassuring. 10/10 for everything from the first call to enquire right till I had the keys.

Had Alison as our valuer- really pleased with the service I had. Leanne and Glynis also very proactive in showing the property to prospective buyers. Dawson's took calls, emails and paperwork processed promptly and always kept me in the loop.
15th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)Conveyancers are bad, but the biggest problem with home buying and selling in the UK are estate agents, and Peter Alan - Swansea branch are a huge testament to this. Poor communication, drive over 300 miles and stayed a night over to view a property then got a 'phone call' on the morning of the viewing. The phone call mysteriously didn't come thorugh, but rest assured, it "...is showing it went through on our systems" They sent me so many messages and requests to confirm the viewing days before the viewing, why not do the same with people staying at the property...? Also being literally forced to 'qualify' my offer, was also I think boderline illegal trade practie, because it wasn't really qualifying, (sending through bank statements/ID/decision in Principle is perfectly legitamate) no, what this was, is forcing upon me their in-house mortgage broker, I suppose for the fee's they would get Terrible indictment of the estate agent trade
12th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)Avoid if you are a seller.....In my case... A complete lack of customer care and service. Several emails not responded to. No reduction in fees for overpricing. Its not the value of the property that is the issue it was their tactics to secure my custom. Over valuing properties without local knowledge of the area they are advertising in (in my case). No offer of explanation or apology. Due to complete next week. Personally wouldn't sell through this branch in the future. - 15th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)I recently sold a property with Dawsons, Gorseinon Branch. Sarah came to value my house, a lovely lady, very professional and a Welsh speaker. Sarah worked with me, and is very knowledgeable and friendly. There is normally someone at the end of the phone if you have any doubts or concerns, they do call back if you leave a message. I have also dealt with Owen who is very kind and helpful and all the staff give you time and that personal touch. The For Sale board was up within a week, Dawsons widely advertised the property, they advised me of every viewing before they took place and an offer was received within 10 days of the property being launched on their website. This has been a very smooth sale and I can’t thank them enough. I used Dawsons recommended solicitors and I have never known solicitors move at such a fast pace. So, if you are you serious about selling your property, I can and do recommend

They’ve made the move so much easier considering we couldn’t come and view the place! They are the most friendliest people I’ve ever come across and I couldn’t recommend them enough! I am a rental landlord I have viewed a large number of properties over the past 14 years and worked with many estate agents. I was very impressed by Megan; she acted with courtesy and great professionalism throughout.
28th Mar 2024 (29 days ago)Downsizing is not easy at any age but as time creeps up on you, you find the stress and complications of selling and moving home difficult. Ben and his team helped to take some of the stress out of the process. No sale proceeds as quickly or smoothly as you hope it will. So I was pleased with the support and good advice I was given. I would strongly recommend any people who are maybe not in the best of health or getting on in years to use SA PROPERTY’s services. No high pressure techniques, good reliable advice and prompt response to your concerns.

18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
22nd Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)I recently bought an apartment from this estate agent. First honest estate agent I dealt with. They told me at the start what work the flat required, and this I found reassuring. They also facilitated the sale very efficiently. Very positive experience. Highly recommend.

Sam provides a nonsense approach and is committed to professionalism; a breath of fresh air in the estate agency world of over-valuations and promises! Our journey was not an easy one, as we had a lot of difficulty with our sellers solicitors, but he was there every step of the way. He was as invested in the move as much we were.
