29th Jun 2024 (28 days ago)Won a bid on several lots and only 10% of the order arrived. For another bid which we were to collect in person, the order was wrong. One box contained the wrong product altogether and the item that was “correct” was a chair with no legs supplied. Avoid

4th Jul 2024 (23 days ago)Selling a house is supposed to be stressful but with Nock Deighton it has been easy. Corabeth Bishop came to see me and explained everything very clearly and was a pleasure to deal with as is Abigail, she is delightful, and very helpful. The brochure was very good, and I accepted an offer 15 days after it was put on the market! I would happily recommend Nock Deighton.
10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)Website shows you can have a free valuation of your home. After deciding we would like to move, but needing to know how much our house is worth before really looking, i thought i would try CJ Hole for a valuation. Only to be told "we cant help you". I presume this is because they dont want to help if you dont have a house lined up or an eye on one to buy. How are you meant to know what houses to look at if you dont know the budget? After asking why, i was told "we dont really deal with that side of Cheltenham". Although our next door neighbours was sold via Cj Hole and is only 7minutes away. Will be using another estate agents to sell our house with who actually seem to want to help.
9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)I recently sold my property with Ryder & Dutton, Heywood branch. It was a very positive experience from start to finish. Starting with Fran Whittle who came out to to do the initial valuation with her obvious experience and knowledge of the local market, which is the most important aspect of selling a house. She also did the photographs and write up and it was listed online within just a few days. From that point on I dealt with Megan D’Angelillo at the local branch who was just excellent in every aspect of her position. She moved to another branch shortly after and Jenna Henley took over, who was also excellent, extremely efficient, professional and with great communication. They have perfected their process and they execute so well, both individually and as a Team. I received multiple, daily emails about viewings which happened immediately the house was listed, which they also handled for me. I had multiple offers within the first week and Jenna was on the ball at all times until we accepted an offer that we were very happy with. Once we agreed with the buyer, the transaction went as quickly as their bank would allow. Jenna kept me informed every step of the way, I never had to call once to ask for updates, she preempted any question before I even asked. It’s rare to get such service, I cannot recommend them highly enough. It becomes very apparent that using your local estate agent who has known the local area for so many years is a must for viewings and communication. I also used a solicitor they are not connected to but are familiar with due to their long, established network of local vendors, which made communication flow much better than had I introduced a random, unknown solicitor. This just added to the efficiency. I had no issues at all. Had there been any I would rather have a local company on my side than a random online company who have no connection or attachment to the area. I can recommend Ryder & Dutton without hesitation, it was a pleasure to deal with them. Big thanks to Fran, Megan and Jenna, you were totally awesome!

From the initial home hunting to picking up the keys they have been amazing , giving me peace of mind all is being taken care of and not having to worry about anything at all . Peter was responsive to all my questions and was proactive in getting the house sold, coordinating the solicitors to exchange and complete on the house.

Elisha, in particular, was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She was always available to answer any questions I had and made sure everything went smoothly and quickly. The house itself is perfect for my needs and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home. But in the end, after more than 2 months, we did not have a single visit and no updates or communication from them as well. I would not choose them again or recommend it.

Made a complaint, got a call from Belvoir with the man on the phone threatening to rip my head off etc. At their office a man aggressively marched towards me, threatened to beat me up. He had to be restrained by 3 female staff.
