   Horrendous experience, viewed a property to rent and specifically asked if the landlord would accept a guarantor as I knew I wouldn’t meet the financial criteria with my housemate. They assured us this was no problem. We paid our holding/referencing fee and passed referencing, to then be told this landlord in particular wouldn’t accept a guarantor as she had issues with previous tenants. When we asked for our money back the answer was no. Staff are rude and lairy. Wouldn’t recommend.... Read more

   Most of the people who work at this firm are fantastic and lovely and very helpful. The owner, however, is aweful. I had the misfortune of renting a flat owned by him, he managed it entirely himself and it's a massive conflict of interest (it's like renting from a private landlord rather than going via an agency). The whole block was full of black mould and when any of us complained we were told to "just open a window". When I moved out, he tried to insist I used the cleaning company he chose (my flat was spotless and I wanted to just give it a final clean myself) and I felt very threatened by him. He ended up charging me £60 for a smudge on the inside of the dishwasher door as well as another £80 for various other "issues".
