Jonny Speight has been incredible and has always gone above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. His replies were always prompt and he is just such a genuinely lovely person who is happy to help. Recently he helped guide me through a tricky sale and would call me to check in. This was such a stressful time but Jonny made it easier and more manageable. 6th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

Adam did the viewings and always gave detailed feedback and was always happy to answer my questions Nathaniel and Leanne so helpful when I needed to know something. This is a brilliant team I would highly recommend them. They are all lovely.<br>I was selling my mums house at the same time as mine. There was no comparison between the two estate agents. George's team is 100% better

Everyone from director Matthew, Charlotte and Ian are all very professional, friendly, most of all caring and extremely knowledgeable, both on the legitimation and handling of any issues arises. I couldn't praise the team enough for what they've done. Particularly Charlotte, she is really on the ball, excellent communication skills and we wouldn't have moved without her advice and assistance.<br>A Big Well done and Thank you to your Ellougton team. 5 + stars service.
20th Jun 2026 (19 weeks ago)Our house sold to the first viewers within the first week of being marketed so we've only had limited contact with the Estate agents so far but everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. They had great knowledge of the house and the area and were able to provide the buyers with lots of useful information about the house when they came for the viewing. They've been very responsive in getting things moving quickly. Very pleased with the service we've received so far.

8th Oct 2026 (22 days ago)Amazing service from Adam and the team! Within around 48 hours of raising an enquiry, Adam came around to value the house. He was honest, professional and timely. Shortly after, he then came around to take pictures/measurements of the house and again was professional and warm. He explained everything he was doing as he was doing it.<br><br>When selling the house, we were communicating with Jess who was just as great! Her responses was prompt and she always kept us in the loop. After a blip where the initial sale fell through, she and the team were prompt in getting the house back on the market ready for viewings.<br><br>Protheroe Property made our move seamless and alleviated some of the stress. Their communication was prompt, effective, and always warm. I don't think we waited longer than a few hours for a response. They worked hard to get our sale through and we would use them again in a heartbeat :)

13th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)?????<br><br>Where do we even begin!<br><br>My partner and I recently sold our property through Hughes, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it's been! Through absolutely no fault of Hughes, our experience of buying and selling has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.<br><br>It all started when we found our first potential home, only to have our offer rejected. The same thing happened with the second property, but thankfully, it was third time lucky!<br><br>Throughout this process, Lewis was incredibly patient, supportive and reassuring, always reminding us that the right property would come along for us and our family. And he was right!<br><br>Fast forward to the day before completion, and what should have been an exciting time turned into our worst nightmare when our buyers pulled out. Rachel worked tirelessly to get everything back on track, going above and beyond to help save our move. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her determination, hard work and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.<br><br>Even on completion day, the challenges weren't quite over! The property we were purchasing hadn't been fully cleared, with numerous belongings still left behind. Danielle stepped in and communicated with our buyers, explaining the situation and why we hadn't been able to completely empty our own property.<br><br>What really stood out to us was that, whenever another problem arose, there was always someone at Hughes willing to help, reassure us and find a solution.<br><br>I'd like to say a massive personal thank you to Lewis, Rachel, Danielle and the entire Hughes team.
