11th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Difficult to get hold of, often don’t answer phones or call back when they state they will. Missed viewing opportunities with properties and was unable measure up etc whilst waiting for the sale to complete due to no responses or follow up.

She stayed in constant contact and was always on hand to help with any questions I had, and she went the extra mile to make sure moving day went as smoothly as possible.<br><br>R&D may not be the cheapest around but I'd happily use them again knowing the level of service they provide.

Outstanding support when things got difficult I first contacted Reeds Rains – previously at 16-18 Moorgate Street, now at Wickersley Rotherham in March 2024 to help me find a flat. From the start, I was told the landlord would manage the property. I thought it would make no difference whether it was managed by the agent or landlord, but it turned out to be a terrible experience all through my stay of over two years. What impressed me most was that the team stood by me from beginning to end, even when issues arose over my deposit. They guided me step-by-step and helped me successfully recover my full deposit plus overpaid rent — something I could not have done without their support. A special mention for Abby — even though she is no longer with the company, her hard work, resilience and dedication were truly noticed and appreciated. I also want to say the Accounts Department was absolutely amazing — efficient, helpful and always there when I needed them. Thank you to every member of the team. I couldn't remember names, the branch manager and other staff members was brilliant. You turned a very stressful situation around and showed real care for your tenants. I highly recommend this office.

Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.<br><br>The agency seemed to have a poor understanding of the local market, communication was consistently lacking, and the sale ultimately took over 10 months to complete.<br><br>From the beginning, I felt the property was poorly marketed. There also appeared to be a lack of transparency with prospective buyers regarding the fact that the property was realistically suited to cash buyers, which caused unnecessary delays and complications.<br><br>Communication was one of the biggest issues. There were numerous occasions when I tried calling and simply could not get through, and at times I found the attitude I received dismissive rather than helpful.<br><br>At one stage, I even found myself having to advise the agent on how the negotiations should be handled because there seemed to be very little urgency or effort being put into progressing the sale. Eventually, after having phone calls and emails not responded to, I contacted the manager that took over the case, which did improve things somewhat, but the overall service was still far below what I would expect from an estate agency handling the sale of a property. How can it take over a week and me practically begging to get a response to hear from an agency?<br><br>After more than 10 months, I came away extremely disappointed with the experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, proactive and attentive agent who will actively work to sell their property, communicate consistently and make them feel that the sale is in capable hands. My house sold within days, and they achieved a price above the original asking price.<br><br>Kerry and Leanne were fantastic throughout, handling all the viewings and appointments while I was working hundreds of miles away. They kept everything running smoothly and made the whole process incredibly easy for me.<br><br>I would highly recommend Whitakers to anyone looking to sell their property.
7th May 2024 (2 years ago)I had a pleasant stay throughout the year and 6 months plus,from the moment I stepped in their offices I met one agent namely muktah,he was very helpful,a very kind man who knows how to communicate with people,if u have issues he will always be there to help,in life u can never predict ur future,sometimes u hit rock bottom and if u don't have an agent who undestands your struggles you'll definitely have a rough time in the property,i recommend Hallam Hills to a friend whose looking for a place to stay,ask for muktah when u step in their offices you'll never regret it,he's the best of the best ????.

7th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!
30th Aug 2026 (15 days ago)I have decided to do a follow up review on the back of my wife’s original. DPSH have represented us on 2 occasions and have been excellent both times. Nicole and Sam, supported by Mark, Jack, and Millie, this time round. This latest sale was very stressful due to a 6 month time waster, and the patience and support shown by DPSH was amazing throughout. In fact I find it incredible that the person responsible for messing us about for 6 months has actually put an extremely negative review on here against DPSH. Trust me, some of his detail is laughable, and DPSH did suggest that I relist after 3 months of dealing with this character and I didn’t take their advice - more fool me! Please see the later review of our ACTUAL buyer, which is a glowing report of how DPSH operate. I could really go to town on the poor review but won’t because tbh I can’t be bothered, DPSH did a great job at dealing with a difficult process. - thanks guys.- 26th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)We had been looking for a house for quite some time in the certain areas in York, so we’ve met and dealt with quite a few different estate agents and their staff during our viewings. Harvey definitely stands out as the best!<br><br>He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, but most importantly, he was never pushy. During our appointment, we felt completely relaxed and comfortable while viewing the house, which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable.<br><br>We really appreciated Harvey’s genuine and approachable manner. He gave us the space to look around and make up our own minds, while still being available to answer any questions we had.<br><br>Thank you, Harvey, for making what can sometimes be a stressful house-hunting experience feel so easy and pleasant.
