Extremely disappointing experience with Foxtons Property Management.
I have been dealing with serious maintenance issues in my property for approximately 5 months, including lack of proper hot water and extremely low water pressure. Despite countless emails, calls, complaints and engineer visits, the issue remains unresolved.
The situation has become so bad that there have been days when the water pressure was too low for basic hygiene, including brushing teeth properly. There have also been days when both myself and my 2-year-old daughter were unable to shower at home due to the lack of hot water and poor water pressure.
When possible, I have had to shower at the gym instead, often leaving in cold or rainy weather, which has repeatedly affected my health and wellbeing, as well as my daughter’s.
What has made the situation even worse is the lack of communication, accountability and urgency from the management team. I was also encouraged to pay an additional 6 months of rent after being assured that repair dates and resolutions would be provided, which unfortunately did not happen.
Considering the high rent I pay, I expected basic habitability standards, comfort, professionalism and proper support as a tenant, but unfortunately this has not been my experience.
The matter has now escalated to the local council due to the failure to resolve the issue appropriately.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Foxtons to anyone looking for reliable property management or tenant support.... Read more
