I used Foxtons around November time to try and sell my late father's home. To be fair they are very good estate agent and actually make an effort to sell your home unfortunately after some disagreements we parted ways. They would have sold the house literally in the first week. Now im with another estate agent a much smaller firm they are ok but not as good as Foxtons. In the last few months I've researched and contacted estate agents and to be fair most of them in Walthamstow are lacklustre and not bothered, however I'd say Foxtons are the best of the bunch as they actually make an effort to get your house sold.
In the next month or so will have to look for another estate agent as my contract has ended with my current estate agent.
Anyhow a special thanks to Sonny (Sales Manager) he's excellent and did the best he could, if you're selling your house in Walthamstow Foxtons would be a great choice.

I had a great experience finding a property through Foxtons thanks to Ben Wright, who sourced a few flats that matched what I was after perfectly and helped make the process as quick and painless as possible. I do recommend working with him, no complaints whatsoever.

Completely disorganised from the start. Rented a property from foxtons Guildford and had little to no communication from them until our move in and after. Foxtons property management also hardly any communication or efforts to fix anything within the property. I called every day to chase and I hardly heard a thing back. We moved in and the property was in a state, no welcome pack, unclean, no instructions, appliances hanging down or fallen off, no help from foxtons at all. Four months since our move in and nothing has been resolved.

I run a global real estate and investor services firm; in the UK I was recommended to try Foxton’s after failing to achieve results with other big names. My case was handled by Rory Briers. To me, Foxton’s reputation, that preceded my dealings with them, was revealed in full by this realtor. Rory worked so hard, well beyond his mandate, to get results. I have never seen this”over and above” the call of duty performance while dealing with other realtors. Based on this encounter and other deeper observations, I have directed managers in my firm to explore dealing exclusively with Foxtons for our UK business.

Sam M from Foxtons Greenwich has been the best estate agent we’ve worked with during our 6 month search for a home. He’s been generous with his time, not pushy with opinions and options, and even managed to accommodate us needing to do the entire negotiation with the seller in 24 hours due to travel plans. After helping us to agree the sale, he’s also been really proactive with getting the process moving.

Our experience has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable, particularly with Zak. He was very responsive until we signed the contract and made the payment, but afterwards all of our calls, messages, and emails were ignored for weeks, even for simple matters. I would strongly advise against using them; their service is the worst I have ever experienced.

STAY AWAY!!
I first put my property on rent with foxtons. the manager at the Margot told me as this was the second property I was letting with Foxtons there would be no charges for 6months. This was a tactic to get my business as when the tenant was found they only wanted a 6 month let. I was told the next tenancy the discount would be applied. However, when the time arrived Margot stopped responding and then I was told that the deal was finished and they could not uphold this.
As they ( Charlie) found tenants I went to foxtons again, big mistake. The tenants were awful and Foxtons did not help at all. Once Foxtons took over £5k for their fees from the rent they did nothing to help the situation with the tenants. The tenants then tried to place legal action based on misrepresentation of the property that Foxtons advertised.
When I alerted Foxtons , Foxtons have tried to put the blame back on myself. I have asked for the managers details 3 time via email but still do not get it. I have request a SAR so awaiting this as Foxtons has said I did not inform them that the roof was not demised the flat ( which I did numerous times).
All I have asked Foxtons for was to refund me the fees from now til the end of the tenancy so the tenants can leave ( as this is their preference) but Foxtons refuse.
Honestly stay away.
