Called us to say their vendor had “accepted” our offer. We received no email confirmation, they did not ask for solicitor details and no communication since then. They called the following day to say there’s been a higher offer and that’s been accepted. Just seemed like our offer was used as leverage to get higher from elsewhere. Unethical and unprofessional. No further email correspondence and no opportunity for us to match the offer. Will be avoiding buying from here.

Northwood have been great. They have been managing our property on the guaranteed rent scheme and it has been a simple process from day 1. They were very helpful in helping us set up, finding great tenants and keeping on top of all maintenance issues. They have also been great with regular communication. Highly recommend.

Greedy company. Don’t seem to care that you take care of the house, but instead they keep increasing the rent. Keep it going like that guys ????

I am renting with Northwood for the first time and it has been hassle free throughout the whole process.
They are very fast an the staff are very pleasant and understanding. I received a welcome pack from them on my movin day.

Matthew was very accommodating & none of our requests to visit with contractors was ever too much. He kept us up to date at all times & when there was a last minute issue he stepped up to solve it on behalf of Northwood . We would highly recommend both Matthew & Northwood to help you buy a home

We have recently purchased a house through Northwood and have to say we were extremely impressed with the whole experience. From the ‘sneak peeks’ on Facebook, the Facebook live viewing all the way through to completion, Nic and the rest of the Northwood team were incredibly professional, responsive and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Northwood!

Let's say that their customer service is not the best in town.
If you rent from Northwood take your time and go through everything that seems not right (although you might risk to "lose" the property you're interested in, if you complain too much)
Keep everything email documented.

Absolutely would NOT recommend to anyone. Poor service. Impolite staff. Scraping the bottom of the barrel to take your deposit, after being forced to leave after only 7 month tenancy due to the poor condition of the property overall, from weeks without heating and cooker/ oven, to damp and mould issues causing illness to name only a few. You have to chase everything as promises to call you back don’t happen, they don’t want to deal with it and can’t get you off the phone quick enough when there’s issues. I could honestly go on and on about all the service failings throughout.
Felt forced to accept a ridiculous deposit reduction as I could not deal with the stress they had caused any longer throughout and after the tenancy.
Would NEVER trust to rent a property through them again personally.

To your response, you’re very good at passing blame to the landlord, you failed to accept responsibility for your service shortcomings, failed to acknowledge the poor condition of the property i had to live in, or rude staff encounters.
I tend to only leave positive reviews, this has nothing to do with "a kick on the way out". Northwood Falkirk has been far from a delight to deal with, thats all.
