As first time landlords, letting a parent’s property we were inexperienced about choosing a tenant and tenant/landlord laws and responsibilities. It was important to us that we found tenants that would look after the property and be respectful of neighbours. We wanted to be responsible landlords, conscious that our property would be someone’s home. With Kerry’s honed expertise, she offered a selection of people and we secured the perfect tenants for our property. We found we could wholly rely on Kerry’s advice, who made the process efficient and hassle free. We felt she dealt with us with the utmost integrity and professionalism. She is very knowledgeable, answered all our queries and was very mindful of our requirements.<br>During the management of the property Sophie proved to be responsive, always answering the phone quickly, getting back to us when promised and dealing with management issues. We also found it useful to be reminded when landlord responsibilities were due for renewal and welcomed the comprehensive inspection reports.<br>The end of the tenancy process was well managed.<br>We would highly recommend Northwood’s management services.<br>Thank you to the whole team at Northwood.<br><br>Updated review following sale of the property<br><br>Northwood’s sales team were first class supporting us all the way through what at times can prove to be a very demanding process. The listing of the property went very smoothly and the quality of the photographs to support the sale were excellent. Viewings were dealt with by Northwood and were conducted in a very professional manner. We were informed at all times about the viewings and any feedback received from potential buyers. The house sold in the first week of being listed and we felt confident that the follow on process leading to completion was in safe hands. The solicitors recommended by Northwood were first rate and the process was relatively straight forward. Communication with Annie and Abi have been fantastic answering all our questions when requested and keeping us informed of progress all the way through from listing to completion. Special mention to Abi for chasing the solicitors and helping to move things forward while keeping us in the loop at all times. Annie and her team delivered for us and we could not ask for more. Highly recommended.

Terrible company who try to take as much money off you as possible! Recently moved out and have had nothing but problems with receiving my deposit back although I’ve been living in damp and mould for years. They only decided to do something about it around my due date because my family were furious I was about to bring a newborn into a black mould infested flat, My unborn baby’s furniture at the time had black mould all over and had to be thrown away which were also gifts from family. Glad to be in a much nicer property with people who really care.

Jodie was absolutely lovely to deal with and showed us around the property for a second viewing on a Friday in a heatwave, which is dedication to her job if ever I've seen it! They are a friendly team and have been on hand to answer any and all questions, and have kept the rental application moving fluidly throughout. We have been updated at every step of the way and it's been refreshing to deal with such a friendly team. I highly recommend Northwood Cardiff for tenants looking to move and I can't say a big enough thank you to Jodie for being a star during this process. I've been very recently bereaved during the moving process and being able to deal with kind and helpful people has alleviated some of the additional stress of this move. 10/10 ??????

As a nurse of 18 years, I had a stroke, I received full UC and PIP and also a private pension which leaves me with a better income than when I was a nurse, my next review is in 2029. All of this was included in the application enquiry form. I’ve have 10 years of private renting with no issues with rent or missed payments with tax etc I’ve passed all my housing inspections and can provide references from my last 2 landlords. I was told that there were no viewing slots available. So a few hours later using a different name I telephoned and surprisingly there are slots available! People should know that this company discriminates again disabled people. ( before anyone says they worried if my benefits are stopped! If they are stopped that means I am able to go back to the job I love serving people in our community).

A fantastic letting agents. The staff are all really helpful and nice. I’ve been renting through them for 8 years now and everytime I’ve needed something dealing with they’ve taken care of it straight away. The best letting agents I’ve ever been with.

I'm not one for reviews but I have to share my experience.
After renting my property out through Northwoods (a lot of years), it was time to buy a new property. They had been fantastic at managing the property over the years, with constant communication and regular updates. the property was never left empty for long, just long enough to allow maintenance to be done (By their approved contractors) before new tenants moved in. So based on their professionalism I choose them to handle the purchase.
It just seemed effortless, again communication was spot on, I never once had to call to push along, Sara and Sam seemed to be one step ahead and kept me well informed explaining any issues that might arise, when there was a problem they sorted it all out with a common sense approach.
When the other party seemed to be dragging their heels (solicitors) on completion, there they were again helping the transaction through to the end.
I can not recommend these guys enough, for making everything hassle free, with no stress at all.

Awful lettings. Will never go with them again and recommend no-one else does either. They do not get anything done that needs doing around the home despite mentioning it several times during inspections and in emails. Never got to use the garden the whole time we were there. Upstairs had terrible mould and they didn't care. Avoid!!!!!!
