7th Apr 2024 (29 days ago)Communication from Oakmans from all concerned has been excellent. We live outside the UK, but Oakmans managed to gain access to the property and show potential buyers around with no fuss. Their valuation proved to be more accurate and optimistic than other agents that we tried, so we ended up with a good offer. Their fee was also the best that we were offered.

18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)We used Luke Miller for our own purchase & had good service (because there were no issues). Therefore we thought we could trust them with my dad’s home purchase, how wrong we were. The house had been let by Luke Miller prior to the purchase & had been empty before dad moved in. My elderly father moved in on Thursday & his welcome gift was no water for his first day & no heating or hot water since. Luke Miller made positive noises initially around helping to resolve the issue but have since back tracked & removed all assistance even though it was clearly a property they were managing & had not switched the water on since the last tenant. They have pushed all blame on the seller stating the solicitors should sort it. The solicitors say it is Luke Miller who are to blame & my father is stuck in the middle. Luke Miller were aware of the previous plumbing work that bled the radiators but they took no responsibility to check them before someone moved in. The radiators are now air locked & for some obscure reason the seller organised for the shower to be removed before moving in. Clearly everyone was aware of the problems & had no qualms in allowing a pensioner to move into a house that is not fit for purpose. My father who is a widower with restricted mobility has been left distraught by this terrible situation- this is his first home since my mum passed away. Luke Miller’s attitude today has been to wash their hands of the situation, which is shocking. This has left me feeling that Luke Miller cannot be trusted & I would recommend going elsewhere to avoid disappointment & dispair.

12th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)We were very fortunate to have found Davidsons Estate Agents last year and we hired them to rent out our property in Birmingham City Centre after which I engaged them to sell the property. The property manager Johnathan Smith has done an excellent job less than 2 months we have a buyer and are happy with the price he has achieved. I would highly recommend both the rental and sales aspects of their business Sean Boyle. BEM.

Dan was absolutely amazing and guided us through the whole process from start to finish. Without his knowledge of the area and the market we wouldn’t have found our dream home which we can now call ours! Wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else!!
2nd Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)Glovers didn’t provide a good service. I purchased a property through them and I asked for assurance the vendor was keen to go through the sale, they confirmed he did, but two weeks after Christmas when fees had been paid to solicitors, I was informed the vendor had accepted another offer without any warning or a chance to increase my offer. The way they handle the call was abrupt! I wouldn’t advise buying a property through them. This was a bad experience and the way the staff dealt with it from the start was truly bad. Personally I feel I should have been compensated for my loss.

24th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)Not very proactive. The initial marketing, adding to Rightmove was essentially all the marketing they did. There's an expectation that the property should sell itself and when it doesn't and asked what the strategy should be their only recommendation was to reduce. I had to chase feedback and there was a fairly lazy approach to coordinating viewing I.e. whatever was asked for rather than planning appropriate slots to suit seller availability.

24th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Feels like giving them 1 star is too much! Shambolic from beginning to end. Firstly they agreed a sale to someone who had no proof of funds and was actually a deal sourcer (someone who makes money off of selling the property to an investor without the estate agents knowing, basically trying to sell it for a fee) Then we had a sale agreed but found property was unmortgageable which obviously wasn't their fault, however due to this we made a counter offer which took 3 weeks for them to reply, also not their fault you would think. However we found that they were holding our offer off as long as possible making stories up so they could try and find a better offer and they then proceeded to put it back on the market. All we would have needed was the truth. Then a couple of weeks later (last Friday) they told us they now was happy to accept our offer, so we immediately got our broker and spent yet more money in fees to get the purchase, only for them to tell us this morning (Tuesday) that they had accepted another offer and the property was no longer on the market. We are property investors, and have purchased many properties but never ever have we come across a company that's so amateur and due to their incompetence and lying it has cost us thousands of pounds. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

3rd Aug 2021 (2 years ago)Great team, kept us updated all the way, Romily was the best agent to visit and value our house very respectful of the property and her experience showed, other agents we considered touched door handles etc around our home, which we found off-putting during COVID restrictions, Romily kept her distance, asked me to open all doors as I showed her round and did not even take a seat, we appreciated these precautions during these crazy times. Lara in the office who dealt with us from that point on was extremely helpful all the way pushing for things to move forward and chasing people daily, Oh, and did I mention they sold our house a day after it went on the market!! They’re just what you want from an estate agent.
3rd Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)From start to finish Andy was on it, having our 1st viewing arranged within 2 days of first advert. He quickly arranged several more viewings which led to a sale within 4 weeks of advertising. I was impressed with the communication throughout. Would highly recommend Davis & Lund.
6th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)Terrible service, God forbid you want to move out of the property. Even if you give them notice you're still fully liable unless you find someone else and then they still keep your deposit. Worst estate agents going

4th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)We moved our house sale to Rice Chamberlain after spending a number of months on the market with another agent and not getting any offers. RC did a superb job of marketing our house, going above and beyond our previous estate agent, and priced it at a more reasonable and realistic point. Within days we had a lot of interest and within weeks we had multiple offers, one of which we accepted. Sarah was absolutely brilliant throughout the sale process, keeping both sides talking when solicitors were being slow. We wouldn't have got the sale concluded so quickly without her! She was invaluable throughout the process and we really appreciated her advice. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of selling, particularly in the Kings Norton area as they have the edge over any competitor with their local knowledge to sell the area as well as the house.
