The viewing was straightforward and easy to set up, the chap who showed me around the property was friendly and honest, and Suzanah was great at keeping me updated throughout the buying process. Calders were generally quick to reply, whether to me or my conveyancing solicitor, and I appreciate their help.
28th Aug 2024 (8 weeks ago)Worse agacy ever I'm have. If something broken like water leak you raport wait more then 7 days to somebody answer you. Same if you have any problem you send email you wait 7 days to reply from them. When you call nobody answer you leave voice massage not call you back. They call you tell you incredible story you have dog in home but you don't have. Never again cooperate with that agecy

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

19th Aug 2024 (9 weeks ago)They never respond to my messages or to give me a call me to see the property I have one month looking for e space and any of this “special” agency’s not respond to me . Landlords / owners of properties want to be careful when they believe that agencies are doing well this work.
20th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)Buyer beware with this estate agent. We attempted to purchase a vacant and chain free property (as they advertised and reassured us many times), but that wasn’t true. When asked if they do any due diligence checks on the sellers, we were told that’s not their job. We tried to formally complain but have been ignored. Thousands lost in fees and they don’t care.

5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
