It wasn't easy at times but I knew that they had my back even when the going got sticky. Would highly recommend the team and congratulate them on a job well done.

They accommodated our requests for visits to the property and were always available to answer our questions. Further they were caring in approach and showed empathy for our situation which was a long process. We would have no hesitation in recommending them as an estate agent.

1st Nov 2025 (9 days ago)I bought my bungalow through Paul at Belvoir 4 years ago. He looked after me really well as a buyer, so when i came to sell, was the obvious choice. No hard sell with inflated, unrealiatic sale price, unlike some others. Really pleased. He did all the viewings, kept the purchaser sweet, and solicitor was happy with him. Decent, friendly, honest bloke. Kept the stress to a minimum. Wouldnt hesitate to sell through him again.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

3rd Sep 2025 (10 weeks ago)From the beginning Natalie of Hortons has been super efficient and extremely helpful to us in trying to sell our home. She assisted and advised regarding marketing and photographs and has always been on hand for advice and updates at any time of the day or night. It has been a challenging time to sell but she has handled all our viewings which has led to 2 buyers. Unfortunately the process broke down with the first buyer but hopefully the second transaction will go the distance. I would not hesitate to recommend Hortons and Natalie has represented them extremely professionally.

2nd Nov 2025 (8 days ago)Overall, the whole buying experience from HS Homes has been great right from the first viewing through to the final hand over of our house keys a couple of days ago. We had a fantastic experience working with Fran from HS Homes. She was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Communication was excellent. Fran is efficient, reliable, and customer-focused. Definitely one of the best agencies we’ve worked with, and we would happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
3rd Oct 2025 (5 weeks ago)They were instructed in Feb and the sale (if it actually goes through) won't complete until Dec/Jan. I was contacted by at least 7 different people and each time they dropped the selling price by at least £5k but more often £15k. I was finally persuaded to sell to a cash buyer, but guess what, another lie.... Buyer will be getting a mortgage so not the 6 weeks completion but more likely 12 weeks. I don't think any of the Let Property representatives who I dealt with told me the truth. I deeply regret ever contacting them and would not advise anyone to use them.
24th Oct 2025 (17 days ago)After switching from another large estate agent in Huddersfield the difference was night and day. The whole team went above and beyond to get my house sale through. Gabbie kept in touch about the applications. Jack and the viewings team showed my house to dozens of potential buyers. It was a difficult situation because I couldn’t accept a buyer in a chain. They worked to find me the perfect buyer. Kelly and Laura dealt with everything after the offer went in. They had email contact with a very particular buyer who emailed daily. They even pushed solicitors for completion and at every step they kept in touch. I honestly couldn’t recommend them any higher, from the marketing to final sale.
