2nd May 2023 (1 year ago)Very pleasant, friendly and well presented and punctual agents but lacked experience which I felt contributed to poor marketing and incorrect information being passed on to prospective buyers. Communication could also have been better.

Whilst the whole team were excellent, extra thanks to Thom who did a great job juggling the inevitable various queries and delays, calmly and professionally.

The day before our move-in, our original landlord unexpectedly withdrew from the agreement, leaving us in a difficult spot. The team at Hamptons went above and beyond to secure us an alternative flat quickly and seamlessly. Their professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for our situation made all the difference, and we were able to move with minimal disruption. If you're looking for a team that truly puts their clients first, we highly recommend Hamptons in Bath. Their communication was excellent and we felt confident they had our best interests in mind throughout. Viewings were well organised and professionally executed. I’d happily recommend the team for the rental or sale of your home.
30th Oct 2024 (25 weeks ago)We dealt with Justin and his team between May and October this year when we were selling our house in Combe Down, whilst living near Barnstaple. During this time we found them to be invariably friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, courteous, readily contactable - i.e. they did not hide behind telephone answering machines or automatic email replies, which can be so frustrating, as well as being honest and trustworthy. We would recommend them.

Both Nikki and Ben were extremely helpful and kept us very well informed on the progress. Nothing was too much trouble, and responding immediately to our inquiries. Nikki and Ben are a great team. 14th Aug 2024 (8 mo. ago)You will be hounded - GDPR and "no" means nothing to these people! Sarah-Jane came to do a valuation in August or September of 2023, we decided for numerous reasons to sell the house through another agent. We continued to receive calls from their office despite explaining we had no need for their services and after about 3 of these calls I asked that they remove our contact details from their database as the last one had disturbed my husband while he was asleep for night shifts. A few weeks later I received another call, I explained that this was a GDPR violation, that I had specifically instructed them to remove my details from their system and not contact us again, this was unacceptable. They apologized and said they would remove them immediately to which I replied "you said that last time, and the time before". Today I have received an email from Sarah-Jane via Rightmove so I am reporting them to the ICO.
18th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)All of the Lettings staff at Martin & Co Bath have been extremely friendly and helpful throughout our time renting a property through them. Everything was done very efficiently and transparently and there was always someone on the end of the phone to answer any queries. I'd like in particular to mention Gaye, Kate and Caroline. I would highly recommend the team in Bath and would definitely rent again through Martin & Co. if needed.

He helped us every step of the way from sorting handymen to deal w minor issues, to securing our necessary paperwork, to finding the ideal buyer. We were dreading a months long process but have solid offer in <1 month! I can’t praise him enough!

Isabel Clifton came and looked around the property, she was punctual and very professional with a friendly attitude. Isabel had a good grasp of the market and how to market the property in a difficult housing market. Isabel and her team provided good helpful advice and had an excellent knowledge of marketing our property. Their whole approach was professional, from valuing the property, to producing the particulars and photographs, to arranging the viewings and showing the potential purchasers around the property and achieving a good sale price that I was very happy with. I would highly recommend Isabel Clifton & her team if you are wishing to market a property. Robin Gabriel
15th Dec 2021 (3 years ago)Tenants and landlords look no further. You will not find greater professionalism, swift communication, industry experience and teamwork anywhere in Bath. Nicola Wilkes (Lettings) and Sharon Clesham (Sales) run a very slick operation and whatever your needs (a new home to rent or letting a new or existing rental property) they will guide you through the process to complete satisfaction. I say this having been a landlord with them for many years and recently been introduced (by Nicola) to another investment opportunity. I am nothing short of amazed by the sleek communication between Sales and Lettings and myself (these ladies know more about property than anyone you’ll meet in Bath and they and their teams are a real pleasure to work with). What I want out of rental property is a great investment but ONLY if my tenants are happy. I need them well looked after and at the top of my agent’s priority list. With the Apartment Company tenants are the priority. And yet this outstanding company deliver more financially to me than any other agent we’ve used in Bath. If you don’t make money, they don’t make money so its a win-win. If you are a first-time landlord and considering a move to renting in Bath (but not sure the best way to go about this), talk to Nicola and Sharon. You won’t regret it. If I was buying a new home for myself, Sharon is the first person I’d call. One final thing…..I noticed a comment that they didn’t always call back if you made an enquiry. Well, if you are Bath’s premier property agency and everyone wants to talk to you, well, yes, you may have to wait a day or so for a reply to a speculative call. No-one wants a company whose sitting about waiting for the phone to ring, do they?! You want an agent whose out there keeping it together for people like me, like my tenants (at the height of a pandemic with vastly reduced staff). Always an impeccable service that goes beyond your expectations. Thank you Sharon and Nicola and everyone at The Apartment Company.

5th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)Christine and the rest of the staff are incredibly accommodating, they are friendly, understanding and always willing to go the extra mile. The welcome pack I received when I moved in was unexpected but a really pleasant surprise, the move in and out was an uncomplicated process and would definitely use Romans in Swindon again if I ever move back there, I highly recommend them.
