25th Jul 2024 (2 days ago)There was a hiccup with the sale when the first buyer disappeared off the face of the earth after 5 months, without announcing that he was no no longer interested in my property. When it became evident that he was unobtainable, Peter David rapidly re-assessed the situation, as the market had declined since the first advert, re-advertised it, and it attracted several more viewers, then from my acceptance of a second offer, the whole conveyancing process took 3 months. So fairly quick.

17th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)Landlords should avoid this letting agent. 3 months into dealing with an eviction and still no end in sight, I'm not confident that the matter will be resolved with any haste due to poor communication with Hunters and their solicitors which is delaying the sale of the property and costing me so certainly won't be using Hunters as a letting agent in the future, nor will I be selling any properties with them.
27th Jun 2024 (30 days ago)Great experience dealing with Robert Watts, always felt they were promoting the house well and being able to log into their site meant we had up to date information. They were very quick to respond to questions/queries and provide advice on the market when the house did not sell after four weeks and lots of viewings. Only reason I have not given 5 stars across the board is due to the fact we had to drop the recommended sale price; if we had advertised at a lower price earlier the sale would have been quicker.

We have had some terrible experiences with other estate agents but felt at home with the Dinsdales Team. Thank you to everyone who has helped us.

11th Jul 2024 (16 days ago)After agreement on a rental I found myself losing the property on a flagged up CCJ that was around £400. I honestly didnt realise I had one. I paid a holding fee of £143... in the terms you lose this should anything crop up. I was disappointed and felt they could have asked for me to pay up the CCJ and the agreed terms would be still acceptable. Instead it was a total blank by the landlord you are not now been accepted. So been disappointed I sent an email. I offered to pay off the CCJ and pay a month's rent in advance. They went back to the landlord and the term's offered were changed to such an extent they wanted a guarantor and £720 deposit plus the CCJ to be paid today. Obviously money grabbing and making the term's very difficult to do within the time scale needed. Please becareful and make sure you don't have a CCJ you know nothing about. Giving some money over and it not been returned to me is how these organisations make extra money. Legalised crooks

My viewing was arranged in literally the same day we managed to make an offer on the very day. She kept on communicating with us the whole time. Everything was managed and all the paperwork was carried out very quickly as well. I love the apartment I moved in, Thank you very much for all your support and effort. We are enjoying our new residence.

5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

Kept us updated regularly at every stage of the selling process from viewings up to completion. Thank you so much.
1st Jul 2024 (26 days ago)Sold our house with DPSH. It took 8 months, mainly due to the solicitors they 'highly recommended'. We did all the viewings ourselves and had to push for them to encourage the buyers to come back with a higher offer. THEN when we actually sold our house - we heard nothing from them for the full 8 months except 1 token phone call asking us to ring them with an update.... Including on the day we completed and exchanged, we had to arrange to meet the buyers at the house - no phone call checking it had all gone ok, I don't even know if they know we have sold.... I presume they do because they have got a load of money for doing absolutely nothing. Would not use again and would not recommend. 1 star is generous.
