Very disappointing experience with William H Brown – Wibsey, Bradford<br><br>I booked William H Brown’s Wibsey branch to carry out a market appraisal of a high-value property. As it is a large house, considerable time and effort went into preparing it for the appointment, including taking time away from work.<br><br>They then cancelled on the day of the appointment, with no alternative valuer available. Their solution was simply for me to contact the branch and rearrange.<br><br>I have sold several properties over the years and contacted William H Brown because I considered them one of the leading estate agents in Bradford. Unfortunately, this experience suggests that prospective clients and their time are simply not a priority for this branch.<br><br>If this is the level of service before they have even won the instruction, I certainly wouldn’t trust them with the sale of an important property.<br><br>Extremely disappointing and completely unprofessional.

25th Jun 2018 (8 years ago)Locat Agency rented out our two-bedroom flat to a family (5-6 members) in 2015. The Agency recommended this family and they have been well known to the agency. During their residency in that flat, we lost our appliances and all the time we received phone calls from the neighbours regarding the unacceptable behaviour of the tenant. Locat defended them all along. When they moved out of the flat four months ago, they left it in a horrible condition. Broken entrance door window, no window handles, no appliances (dishwasher, washing machine which has been changed and bought a brand new one less than two years ago, fridge and freezer) and too much dirt everywhere (kitchen, bathroom and toilet, broken tiles bathroom panel are the examples of what they left behind. When they moved to the flat, it was in an excellent condition, then they put a nasty wallpaper and also made more than 40 holes on the walls. Generally, I should say I had to spend a fortune to make it reasonable again. All these changes happened out of our knowledge. Locate does not accept any responsibility here and the agency found another place to live for them. I think this agency is not reliable and honest with the customer and after this horrible experience, I never recommend it to other people.

I have had a few delays in responses to maintenance requests, but they always come through eventually. I think they are an excellent team and are concerned about their clients.- 23rd Apr 2026 (20 weeks ago)Wasted a hour of my time turned up 15 minutes early thinking they would arrive on time phoned after viewing time and said they could not come attend the viewing Absolutely disgraceful no respect for a person's time absolute waste of a company.
2nd Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Great experience moving in. Suitable properties were disappearing as quickly as they became available. The team at Biscayne sent me a video tour when I asked from Scotland, before I could get down. They were flexible about the date I collected keys. The property itself is stunning. Beautiful inside and well maintained. I hope more properties like this in Bradford are brought to market for people.
27th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)The agent arrived 10 minutes late to the viewing and, unfortunately, seemed to know very little about the property. Communication has also been very poor. Since making the enquiry, I’ve received six cold calls from their office in just two days, which has felt excessive and intrusive. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not the level of service I would expect from a professional estate agent.
29th Jun 2026 (10 weeks ago)The 10Homes team were great. They found the right buyers, chased the sale and completion transaction through thoroughly. As an added benefit they worked well with tenants in organising viewings, provided solutions to small repairs, and cooperated with our letting agents.

It’s also comforting to know that you guys are point of contact after my move too which he made me aware of. Morgan is a credit to the team.

The service was very profesional from viewing, move in and on going comunication. The maintenance team are very profesional and provide regular updates if there is any maintenance required. Really happy with the property and the Squarefoot Team.

7th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

30th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)I have decided to do a follow up review on the back of my wife’s original. DPSH have represented us on 2 occasions and have been excellent both times. Nicole and Sam, supported by Mark, Jack, and Millie, this time round. This latest sale was very stressful due to a 6 month time waster, and the patience and support shown by DPSH was amazing throughout. In fact I find it incredible that the person responsible for messing us about for 6 months has actually put an extremely negative review on here against DPSH. Trust me, some of his detail is laughable, and DPSH did suggest that I relist after 3 months of dealing with this character and I didn’t take their advice - more fool me! Please see the later review of our ACTUAL buyer, which is a glowing report of how DPSH operate. I could really go to town on the poor review but won’t because tbh I can’t be bothered, DPSH did a great job at dealing with a difficult process. - thanks guys.
