22nd Aug 2026 (16 days ago)Just at the close of work yesterday, the sockets and hot water stopped working from my kitchen while baking. I am currently letting with Dinsdale Estates, I rang the office and the lovely Yvonne picked up the call, she was so warm on approach and resolved my concerns. Not only did she make sure to get someone out yesterday to fix the issues but also handed me over the teams working the following day for a lasting solution despite it was just close of work. Thanks so much Dinsdale Estates Team, you’re all superstars.

I have been dealing with my late brother's estate, and the made the whole process of selling his house simple and painless. Emily gave some excellent advice for getting the property on the market, and Karly kept the sales process running smoothly. I am more than happy to put my name to a five star recommendation for both of them.
11th Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Difficult to get hold of, often don’t answer phones or call back when they state they will. Missed viewing opportunities with properties and was unable measure up etc whilst waiting for the sale to complete due to no responses or follow up.

Very disappointing experience with William H Brown – Wibsey, Bradford<br><br>I booked William H Brown’s Wibsey branch to carry out a market appraisal of a high-value property. As it is a large house, considerable time and effort went into preparing it for the appointment, including taking time away from work.<br><br>They then cancelled on the day of the appointment, with no alternative valuer available. Their solution was simply for me to contact the branch and rearrange.<br><br>I have sold several properties over the years and contacted William H Brown because I considered them one of the leading estate agents in Bradford. Unfortunately, this experience suggests that prospective clients and their time are simply not a priority for this branch.<br><br>If this is the level of service before they have even won the instruction, I certainly wouldn’t trust them with the sale of an important property.<br><br>Extremely disappointing and completely unprofessional.

20th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Great service from valuation to completion by Manning Stainton in Pudsey. The valuation strategy was spot on, thanks Emma. Habib was great during the viewing process. Gemma and Rochelle really kept the process going from the point of agreeing the sale through to completion - lots of good communication between them and the buyers; other agents and solicitors. A great team, well done!

10th Aug 2026 (28 days ago)We recently sold our property through Boardwalk Estate Agents, and despite what turned out to be a very challenging and stressful sale, the team worked incredibly hard to get us over the finish line.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Chris Palmer, the Sales Progressor, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the process. The sale was far from straightforward (despite there being no chain) and involved dealing with an extremely difficult solicitor on the buyer's side, which caused numerous delays and frustrations. Through all of this, Chris remained proactive, calm, reassuring and professional.<br><br>What really stood out was his communication. He was always incredibly quick to respond to messages and calls, kept us updated at every stage, and worked tirelessly to keep the sale moving forward when it felt like things might stall again. We were particularly grateful that, due to the urgency of the situation, Chris even took the time to deal with matters during his annual leave.<br><br>This transaction certainly tested everyone's patience and sanity! However, Chris's persistence, dedication and support made a huge difference, and I genuinely don't think the sale would have reached completion without his efforts.<br><br>I'd also like to mention Rhia Lloyd, who was a real pleasure to work with from the outset. She did a great job with the valuation and marketing of the property, and her advice and support helped get things off to a strong start. Although Chris was our main point of contact during the sale progression, Rhia was always happy to help when needed and stepped back in towards the end when things were becoming particularly challenging. We really appreciated her support and the part she played in helping us get the sale over the line.<br><br>Thank you to Chris and Rhia for all your hard work. We are now happily settling into our new life in Brighton, and we're very grateful for everything you did to help make that happen.

14th Aug 2026 (24 days ago)We were excited to be using an agent that was within the local area as we believed this would give an edge over other agents. However, it transpired the local branch was only for lettings and not sales (which are over 6 miles away). The cover photo that Holbrook Moran chose for Rightmove had a clear picture of the house next door included in the photo. This neighbouring property was in a very poor state of repair and did not reflect well on our recently renovated property that was being sold. We provided a suitable photo for them to use. Its disappointing that common sense from the agents did not prevail in this instance which would put off potential viewings before viewing the property in person. The agents vastly over-valued the property and there were zero viewings for over a month. We had to contact the manager to say something was wrong and suggested that the property was overpriced. The manager had a multiude of excuses but it was agreed to reduce the price. This did result in a few viewings and some 'silly' offers which didn't proceed for one reason or another. After many months of frustration, the agent suggested re-launching the property at a much lower price on Rightmove. This did result in our eventual sale completing. The property had been with Holbrook Moran for 15+ months. During this time we only had two accepted offers, one of which completed. Communication between Holbrook Moran and our solicitor (who they recommended ) was also shocking. It would seem the estate agent's spouse works at the solicitor we were recommended to use. One would think this would improve communications but the opposite was very apparent. Throughout the entire process, updates and any communications were prompted by us (the sellers) as they were not proactive in their communications. The only area they did OK in was in notifying us of when property viewings were taking place and provided feedback on viewings.

He showed me around the property, explained everything clearly, and answered all my questions.<br>Robert was really helpful and made the whole viewing feel relaxed and straightforward. I really appreciated how approachable he was and how he took the time to make sure I had all the information I needed. I’d definitely recommend Robert to anyone looking for a friendly and professional estate agent.

20th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Made an offer on a property and Jack came back to me and said it had been rejected. Made an improved offer £5k below asking price.Advised he would come back to me shortly. Over three weeks have now passed and no contact. Since found out property sold to a higher offer. The basics are you communicate with buyers and do not just leave them hanging for weeks !!!!

Located in a charming, calm Georgian/Victorian part of Bristol, this flat allows you to experience the atmosphere of times gone by.<br>It is well furnished and lovingly decorated, offers stunning views from the windows in both directions and has a clean, fresh feel about it despite the age of the actual building.<br>One spacious kitchen-cum-living room with a high ceiling and a compfy sofa and a dining area, and two lovely bedrooms with their own bathroom offer all the comfort you need.<br>The location is excellent, too: just a three-minute walk from College Green, a bustling older centre of Bristol, and ten minutes from the busy main commercial streets farther on. If you walk up Great George Street you find yourself on Brandon Hill with lovely pathways and breath-taking views over the city from Cabot Tower.<br>You have shops and eateries nearby, and can even walk to Clifton Suspension Bridge if you are up to a thirty-minute slightly uphill trek.<br>Make sure you visit the Georgian House Museum in the next building down the street (you can catch a glimpse of its lovely garden from the bedroom windows!) and have a snack/drink in St. George's Bristol just across the street.<br>Team Hopewell has been an excellent host, communication was quick and effective. Overally, I highly recommend this property.
