28th May 2025 (20 days ago)I had an interesting experience with Wentworth about a month ago. We put an offer on a house, which unfortunately fell through under frustrating circumstances. At the time, I felt the advice given by the agent may have been misguided, and I was disappointed when we lost the purchase. So why the 5 stars? When I called to find out whether our offer had been accepted, it was Daniel who delivered the bad news and who bore the brunt of my frustration. I spoke with him at length, multiple times, and each time he responded with genuine empathy and understanding. As first-time buyers, his guidance and advice were incredibly helpful and well beyond what we expected. We didn’t get the house, but the interaction with Daniel was unexpectedly positive. Our involvement in that particular sale was over, yet Daniel still took the time to support and advise us. That level of care was rare and sincerely appreciated. If that’s the kind of service I received in a situation where we weren’t even clients, I can only imagine how exceptional the experience must be for those who are. I know exactly who I’ll be reaching out to when I’m next in need of real estate services. A brilliant experience from Wentworth, especially when they didn’t have to. That’s why it’s 5 stars from me.
5th Nov 2024 (7 mo. ago)We can't thank Rio, Yoanna, and Matt at Hamptons enough for their incredible support during what could have been a very stressful experience. The day before our move-in, our original landlord unexpectedly withdrew from the agreement, leaving us in a difficult spot. The team at Hamptons went above and beyond to secure us an alternative flat quickly and seamlessly. Their professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for our situation made all the difference, and we were able to move with minimal disruption. If you're looking for a team that truly puts their clients first, we highly recommend Hamptons in Bath. We’re very grateful for their hard work and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome - our new flat is amazing!

28th Aug 2024 (9 mo. ago)Although I had several confirmations for the viewing, Isobel turned up 20 mins late for the viewing despite the offices being 3 mins drive from property and admitted that she was in the middle of having her lunch and also hadn't put the viewing in her diary. The property was lovely but it was such a rushed viewing that I wasn't even given the chance to see the allocated parking space or the garage. Even so, I was quite interested in the flat and even asked about when they would contact me about putting an offer in, and was informed that it would be straight after the current round of viewings. I didn't hear back them for a few days and as it was the bank holiday weekend I thought I would give them till the following week. I call on Tuesday and left a message which was ignored. I follow up with a call the following day and spoke to Isobel and was informed that the property is now sold and off the market. The excuse that was given was that she was on holiday and her colleagues should've contacted me. Very disappointing with the service, to not be given the chance to put an offer for a lovely property and be given excuses from an otherwise highly rated agents.

14th Aug 2024 (10 mo. ago)You will be hounded - GDPR and "no" means nothing to these people! Sarah-Jane came to do a valuation in August or September of 2023, we decided for numerous reasons to sell the house through another agent. We continued to receive calls from their office despite explaining we had no need for their services and after about 3 of these calls I asked that they remove our contact details from their database as the last one had disturbed my husband while he was asleep for night shifts. A few weeks later I received another call, I explained that this was a GDPR violation, that I had specifically instructed them to remove my details from their system and not contact us again, this was unacceptable. They apologized and said they would remove them immediately to which I replied "you said that last time, and the time before". Today I have received an email from Sarah-Jane via Rightmove so I am reporting them to the ICO.
14th Jun 2024 (1 year ago)Two major issues since having lived in the property for two months: 1) The fire alarm went off twice due to other flats. Ok, this happens, not Moorfields' fault. However, the first time, we were unable to switch the alarm off after knowing we were safe. We contacted Moorfields, who told us the switch is in the communal area of the other flats of the building. We do not have access as we are the garden flat with a separate entrance. The fire alarm went off again a couple days later in the night, we were unable to access the switch. Only the next day did Moorfields tell us we needed a key in order to access the fire alarm switch, then decided to deliver the key. When I brought up the issue (today, amongst a series of issues) the representative on the phone told me it "wasn't their fault the previous tenant hadn't told them the fire alarm switch was in the other building" and also "the previous tenants didn't let us know the sensitivity of the alarm". This raises serious safety concerns about Moorfields not knowing fire safety features of their properties and relying on "previous tenants to communicate". 2) Today, there was a ladder in our garden going up to the flat above, with banging and a man I did not recognise in the flat. I had received no communication about intended maintenance on the building. I phoned Moorfields to enquire, as it looked potentially very suspicious, worst case scenario a break in. Moorfields told me there was no expected maintenance on the building. I shouted up the ladder, a man arrived at the window to tell me he was installing a boiler. I phoned Moorfields again and they then confirmed that yes, actually, there was maintenance planned for a boiler. When I told the representative on the phone that I was unimpressed with Moorfields' poor communication, he explained that sometimes boiler installation involves outer building work , which was completely irrelevant and defensive in a situation where a lack of communication on Moorfields' part caused worry, confusion and time taken up unnecessarily. Other issues with Moorfields over our tenancy so far (two months): Before signing the tenancy agreement, my partner was told outright that our pets (guinea pigs) would be allowed at the property. When signing the tenancy, I asked to have written confirmation of this. Moorfields then went back on what thy said, asked us more questions about our pets and then said they needed to "check with the landlord". Upon moving in, the property was left with a broken microwave in the kitchen, and a pile of wood with nails sticking out along with a rusting barbecue grill in the driveway. When we raised this, Moorfields suggested we put these items in the bin. I communicated back that we had, of course, considered the bin as the more obvious means of disposal, but that they were too big. Moorfields agreed to arrange for the items to be disposed of. The barbecue grill was disposed of a week later, but the pile of wood was simply moved onto the pavement where it stayed for weeks (not sure whether the Moorfields eventually disposed of it or whether it was removed otherwise). The microwave is still by our front door, where I explained it would be ready for collection, but was never disposed of. When addressing these issues, Moorfields have been defensive and tried to abscond from their responsibility over the issues, rather than admitting fault in order to find solutions for the future. I did receive an apology over the phone but it was after a long discussion and was accompanied by excuses blaming everyone but themselves for the neglect and lack of communication.

Tom and his team were superb on every step of the way. This particular sale had many complications throughout the process but each hurdle and issue was dealt with professionally and with the utmost skill and attention to detail. Tom in particular was outstanding in dealing with a very pushy new home development where my parents were moving in to. He went way beyond what would be expected in protecting my parent’s interests throughout a this process and dealing with this company in a very professional manner. Most importantly he achieved the best possible price for my parent’s property in a quite challenging marketplace. His initial valuation was far higher than any competitors in the area by a very large margin. He was slow to reduce the price and proved himself to be a superb negotiator on our behalf. On this basis alone I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Tom and his team at Strutt and Parker. A truly outstanding service and on a personal level we are all extremely grateful to him for all he has done throughout the sale of our home. Steve W
28th Mar 2025 (12 weeks ago)We had had our house on the market for nearly two years before instructing Salisbury Strutt & Parker who were our third agent over that time period. From the start, the Strutt and Parker team showed a palpable energy and enthusiasm for the property, which most agents do at the start, but unusually this was carried unfaltering all the way through to the completion of the sale. Strutt and Parker's terms were the same as other agents, yet they were on the phone to us communicating every detail and updating us of every thing we needed to know. They were responsive, always contactable and staff made extensive efforts to really understand the property and it's value and features. Best of all was the personal approach, Nick Ingle was happy to chat, give advice and reassure at any time of day and especially through the sale process (where most agents have moved their attention onto their next sale). I can't fault how much chasing, communicating with other parties, updating and creating solutions to issues along the way that the Strutt and Parker team did. I have bought and sold many properties in my lifetime, but their service was an example to other estate agents who shelved efforts after 6 weeks (realising it wasn't an easy sell) and stopped communicating or marketing the property. When you're paying a five-figure sum to an agent, service like we received from George, Nick and the team seems like very good value. The team were instrumental in facilitating offer to completion in just over 7 weeks saving us from the additional stamp duty rise. I can't recommend them enough.

From the outset, Andy was professional, friendly, and incredibly responsive—always available to answer questions, even outside of standard working hours, which really helped put us at ease. He sold our house quickly and kept us well-informed every step of the way. One thing we particularly appreciated as a family with young children was how thoughtfully Andy and Nicola handled viewings. They organised a well-structured open day, which meant we didn’t have constant disruptions and could plan around it easily. It made the whole experience much more manageable for us. The marketing was also excellent—Andy brought in a top-quality photographer and videographer, and the end result really helped our home stand out to today’s buyers. If you're looking for a professional, communicative, and family-aware estate agent who truly goes the extra mile, we can’t recommend Andy highly enough.

We met him at the viewing and it made such a difference having someone with in depth knowledge of the property showing us around. We now have our keys, and the whole process was done in less than 3 months, with Chris often chasing the solicitors (and us!). Could not recommend highly enough, and if we do ever sell our property, we wouldn't consider listing it with anyone else. 5 stars!

Communication before, during and after was excellent, and the team were lovely, which is what you need when dealing with the stress of moving house! They turned up at the time that was agreed and were fully equipped for the job. They treated all my belongings with respect, as well as taking care when manoeuvring around tight corners and up and down the stairs. They went above and beyond to help with my move, ensuring that everything was unloaded into the correct rooms and didn’t leave until I was happy that everything was where it was supposed to be. The cost was significantly cheaper than other companies. They provided a top quality service for a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend House of Jackson as a removal service and will definitely be using them for all moves in the future. Thank you Luke, Marcus and Brandon!
