MG estate agents were very quick to respond to the initial request from Get Agent. The owner Gavin came over and was very friendly and knowledgeable and understanding in my situation. Within a few days of accepting the offer MG had booked in the photographer and had everything online very quickly.

Although the agents appeared to be very helpful, we were given false information about legal parking at the property we were buying. Spent money on survey and searches which was unnecessary as we only wanted a house with legal parking. Anyone buying Hill View Cottage can only legally park roadside,drive has no planning permission so parking illegal.

From first contact with MG Estate Agents, they were on time for our agreed appointment. I met with Gavin who was very polite, he wanted to know about the life in my fathers property before going onto our thoughts about the selling price.
He was very knowledgeable about houses up for sale or ones that had just been sold. He went through how MG would go about advertising the property and process. I was very impressed with the street app the company uses which keeps you fully updated with viewings and feed back on how it went.
I have been able to contact MG Estate agents with ease, and they have answered any questions I have had. The company were very active with the selling of the property and very quickly had it up live and brought viewers to see the property, i believe the house was marketed at the right price, which brought the viewings. Lucy and the team at MG are nothing short of amazing!
After speaking with several other agents to list and manage the sale of our property, we decided to instruct MG and what a great decision it was!
When Lucy came to value our home, she was down to earth, honest and didn't try to flog us a list of corporate nonsense (unlike other local agents) and made us feel confident in their abilities as a smaller independent estate agent.
Kat came to take photos of the property and again, was lovely, down to earth and really respectful of our home! - the photos/3D tour looked amazing!
We were also looking to purchase a property in the local area, and the MG team took note of the exact type of property we would like to buy, again Lucy came through with our ideal home, knowing it was exactly what we wanted.
Lucy took us to view the property, and we fell in love.. a few days after.. it was ours!
The entire MG team made us feel as though our home was the only property on their radar, and that they would nurture the entire process from start to finish and they really have done just that - despite being a busy agent with plenty of other lovely homes under their management, it has been nothing short of a pleasure from valuation to offer accepted!

MG estate agents are horrible at communications.
I had to end my contract with them just in 2 weeks.
Extremely unprofessional at communicating.
They don't reply to emails.
They lied to me when valuation, they told me they will advertise my property on Zoopla, but just in 1 week they removed my property from zoopla with reason "its expensive to advertise on zoopla". Ridiculous.
When somone came to viewing their agent went off because viewers were merely 5 mins late, their agents don't even try calling viewers. Again, Ridiculous.....

Gavin is such a down to earth and friendly guy with lots if knowledge in this field...and his wife kat is superb with her write ups and and photography for the sales ad. I chose M G Estate Agents as they were local and I thought they would have a really good understanding of the local house selling market in my area. My assessment was spot on,. The assistant manage was was very supportive whilst giving me realistic and valuable advice on the local market and the best way to put the house up for sell. Photography and marketing was excellent. When we went live I was kept upto date with viewings and feedback having 5 viewings the first weekend and 4 the second with offers following on. I would say that the whole M G Estate Agents team worked really well together to make my house sale happen. They had a Mortgage Progressor who kept me up to date with progress being made along the way. When things were slowing up even the managing director pulled out the stops to get the sale clinched. Highly recommended.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend MG to anyone thinking of selling their property. Their marketing is second to none and really ensures your property stands out from the crowd. Viewings are easy to schedule and the instant feedback is amazing. Special mention goes to Kat, who took so much time and attention to detail to ensure our home was showcased at its best in the photos. After 17 years in our family home, it was refreshing to find an estate agent that did not pressure us and worked in our best interests at all times. We completed after a year in a bumpy market, and we are so glad we stuck it out. Gavin was always calm, reassuring and confident that we would get there in the end. We did, and it was all worth it!

Very professional and very helpful. During the process of the sale i had many questions which were always answered and i could ring and email the team many times with an instant reponse. When i needed a structural report for the property MG Estate Agents sorted it all out and even went to the property when the engineer had to visit. I would highly recommend MG Estate Agents for there professionalism and helpful staff. I called many estate agents when first deciding with all sorts of quotes for my property but I had that feeling that MG Estate Agents actually cared about me and my property and they took a genuine interest in getting me the best deal.

Having contacted Gavin earlier in the year for a rough valuation we knew we’d be able to trust them if we went on to sell. 6 months later we were on the market with MG and sold within 3 days!
When it came to the final few days before completing parts of our buyers chain were flakey - Gavin had our backs and pushed to keep the chain moving, in what could have been a stressful time he helped keep the ball rolling and kept us updated at all times (often a rarity!)

After a really difficult time looking for our first house in an ever increasing market; Gavin was genuinely the first estate agent we met who actively wanted to help us out!

From the start they were very good. I had a specific time window to sell my home which they understood and followed . From the pictures and write up of my home which was original and there attention to detail was refreshing compared to other estate agents I had used. There technology that they use to book and give feedback on viewings is really good. Giving the information as people view your home. Regular updates and the advice they give is second to none. Then as a part of there team they have progresses who do what the title says once you have a buyer they help chance thing's up. With my sale they had there work cut out as I was in a chain. With the 1st in the chain been challenging. But Alison was amazing with sorting the issues and keeping me updated. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. They were brilliant.

MG Estates sold our flat and we also bought our new home from them. If we had to sell our house again or recommend an estate agent to a friend or family member, they would always be at the top of our list.
Selling our house – We shortlisted 3 agents in the area. The other two agents came with a Zoopla market search which they had printed from the website and gave us the Zoopla recommended price for the flat. Gavin from MG on the other hand did his homework, with market comparisons he had conducted himself and details about our property to value the flat. We were a bit hesitant at first as the asking price he suggested was more than we expected, but Gavin secured that price easily.
Kat’s marketing material is another level. The photos looked great and she made sure to capture the little details about our flat and made the property look as good as it could. Looking at adverts from Kat vs other estate agents you will clearly see that that there is a big attention to detail and a lot of time taken to sell your property.
The viewings were really easy to manage via an online portal and some dates can be put in the system to have automatically booked for us.
Buying a house from them – Kat gave us a call to let us know about a new house that she was about to advertise. We would not have initially considered the house from our search alerts, but after the discussion with her, and because it matched all of our other criteria perfectly, we took the chance to be one of the first clients to view the house. We cannot thank enough Kat for thinking of us, and the pleasant viewing experience we had with Sarah. The online portal also meant that making an offer and getting our offer accepted was really easy.
We had few hiccups during the process, but MG always had the right advice. We lost our first buyer but Gav secured us 3 new offers within 3 workings days (from when the original offer pulled out, to the new one being accepted). They also use a progression company that manages all parts of the chain to make sure everything happens smoothly, and Gav will jump in when something needs his attention.
The rest of the team were also really nice and professional whenever we had to deal with them.
All of this for a smaller fee than all the other estate agents we contacted, the zero week contract and the no sale no fees means it’s a no brainer to try them first.
We love our new house and can only thank MG for helping us sell our flat and securing our new home.

Awfully unprofessional, called in to book a viewing and was cancelled last minute, when I called they told me the property had sold and that “they couldn’t be doing viewings forever” seems ridiculous to book in potential buyers with no intention of actually allowing a viewing to happen. Disorganised process leaving bitter taste. Doesn’t allow all offer to come in and messes people around unnecessarily. I would avoid!

MG Estate Agents sold the property we recently moved into and Gavin is the most down to earth, non-pushy estate agent - I was so pleasantly surprised. He genuinely just wanted us to love the property and even suggested we take a look at others because it was the first one we viewed.
The whole team (including Jill and Sarah) were so helpful and amazingly responsive throughout the purchase process.

Historically it has always been the same agents marketing houses in my area. They all came along and pretty much gave the same talk and the valuations were very different! I decided to try MG and logged an enquiry online one evening. Within 10 minutes i had a very professional gentleman (Gavin) call me. He attend the next day and all i can say is wow! What a difference! MG is setting the bar at a whole new level. Kat arrived to take photos and understand the true value of the house! The house went on the market and sold within 3 hours at full asking price! This price was higher that the other agents said i could achieve! I cannot big these guys up enough..... professional, passionate and quality.

Viewing property’s with MG has been enjoyable, Gavin is so knowledgeable and made the whole experience stress free and informative. Haven’t found the right house yet but would definitely recommend them if your looking for a home!

What a refreshing experience being shown around a home by MG Estate agents. It's always hard to read between the lines of a sale and understanding the true facts to make informed decisions. Our agent (so sorry forgot name!!!) was passionate, professional, personable, easy to interact with and was so honest, we felt no unnecessary preasure to make one of the biggest decisions of our lives. I really hope that our new home will be sold through MG Estate agents. Recommendation for sellers to go through these estate agents too as they actually care about your property and make the buyers feel extremely well informed about your house.
