7th Dec 2022 (1 year ago)We are glad that we chose Hamptons Estate Agents in Alton to sell our property, as from the off they showed that they were professional and prepared to be fully engaged in supporting us through the process. From the initial valuation from Adam, the ultimate professional, to the ongoing chasing and updating by Kathleen, we felt that they could not have done better. Kathleen, in particular, showed great tenacity in dealing with a number of issues, often overcoming the weaknesses of other parties in the chain, due in part to her skill at building relationships. She was so pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I am happy to recommend the team at Hamptons.
29th Sep 2023 (11 mo. ago)Charters have kept close communication with me and have been fully engaged throughout my selling journey. They have been realistic with me on selling price and helped negotiations through the chain to make the deal work. Once a sale was agreed they appointed an agent to work 1-1 with me to progress the sale and stay close to my Solicitor and my Buyer - this was a service unique to Charters as I have not found this with any other Estate Agent.

The whole process was made extremely easy and we were not bothered unless necessary, all our questions were answered immediately and precisely. I couldn't recommend the bourne enough as they made it a super smooth transition from renting to home owners. Great team.

10th Aug 2024 (30 days ago)Wouldn’t recommend if looking to rent we had a issue our end and sadly failed the checks because of a unlawful ccj from 4years ago that was settled and the insurance never removed the ccj by accident and they wouldn’t even give a a week to resolve the issue after finding out what it was a day later we are now homless

15th Aug 2024 (25 days ago)Seymours worked with me recently to try to find a property as I am looking to downsize. The search is now on hold temporarily but their service was excellent. In particular Serena who was my main contact. Really well informed about the local area and she took a lot of time to really understand what I am looking for. Friendly and helpful and excellent at staying in regular contact without pressuring me. Would definitely want to use her again when I resume my search next year.

The whole team at B&W handled the marketing and viewing stage with professionalism and great communication; throughout what proved to be a long and complex leasehold sale Martin remained extremely professional and patient, and went above and beyond to help resolve queries from my purchaser and her conveyancer, to ensure the property sale reached a successful conclusion. I don't think we'd have got there without him and I have no hesitation in highly recommending them.

8th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)SCAM, they hided information on my letting apartment, which was on their “Sales” list. I endured living in a showroom. Agents will open my front door without notice. I found my front door open once. The landlord Matthew Campbell Birkett of Glasglow was abusive overcharging me on fixing a fireplace which I never used! Unethical profiteers! He sold it to a Russian millionaire and kick me out.
18th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

My agent was Roanna Ferne who worked tirelessly to unsure the whole process, and any issues, were addressed and managed. Like all sales with a chain there are challenges but I was highly impressed with the way the Roanna brought the stakeholders together thus getting the right result for all. I would highly recommend Bourne Estate Agents and Roanna for your sale or purchase.
