17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
6th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)I first met Paul and Tanya when I bought my house, nearly a decade ago. When it came to selling it I didn’t hesitate to contact Clarke Gammon again. In my experience they have always been friendly, polite and professional. If you are like me and appreciate the extra attention to detail then I would recommend using them. Somebody from the team is always available to receive calls and reply to emails promptly. Selling or buying a house is not always plain sailing so you want a good agent like them to help resolve issues efficiently and effectively. I am happy to say that the house I am buying is through them also. Thanks to everybody at the Haslemere office! Tanya was very helpful, all the time she worked on our house sale. Always friendly, prompt with communications and happily to provide helpful advice. It was a shame that she moved to a different job prior to completion. However, this was fine because Paul took over the reigns with the same level of care and attention. Friendly and helpful people that clearly enjoy their job, and it shows. Update on purchase: This will be the third time I have had the good fortune to be using the services of Clarke Gammon Haslemere. In my experience everybody at the Haslemere office has always been top class. This purchase, like any other, has had testing moments but Paul did everything humanly possible to help. Often going beyond what you would expect of an estate agent. Communication and promptness was second to none. Thanks very much and I do hope our paths cross in the future. Although we are very happy with the new house so won’t be moving anytime soon.

He is very customer focused, and whilst viewing properties with him we never felt rushed and he always provided answers to any questions we had within 24 hours. A pleasure to deal with!

Once buyer was found through morris dibben we had no issues and everything went smoothly. Will be contacting Danielle again in the future when I move again.
9th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)- Original listing price was too high, I could see that the Agent could not - Communication was hit and miss - Reactive with their marketing, only really made changes after being repeatedly chased by me. - We accepted an offer which fell through - These things happen however the Agent didn't seem to have a clue as to what was going on with our buyers leading to our property being left off the market for 6 weeks needlessly, whilst assuring us the sale was safe. - Received a revised offer from our buyers, did not pass this on just rejected it on our behalf, nor were we informed that the buyer was dropping their offer by 20k - should have been a massive red flag - Lied to us on a number of times including saying we had refused delivery of a for sale board which we did not - Didnt seem to be interested in trying to push a sale, the attitude was 'the right people will come along'
17th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)very happy with selling a house through Jacobs & Hunt. I felt that they had the best market knowledge and their local reputation is deserved. Easy to work with. Valuation well considered. I thought that the photographs of the house and garden were outstanding.

We bought one house and sold two with them and every single time they went above and beyond. Communicating everything at every step and chasing everyone. When difficulties arose, they suggested creative solutions to overcome those and get to the finish line. I wouldn't work with anybody else.

6th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)Do not rent any property associated with Nexa especially if you are young!! We have had endless issues since renting through Nexa properties which they are still yet to acknowledge/resolve. These issues include damp within the property (black mould and mushrooms growing), leaking boiler, no hot water for days at a time, lack of security (windows that do not close), we were also without a shower for 3 months. If you are a young person they do not attempt to fix or resolve any issues you have until you threaten the council or not paying rent!

We have 2 small children and nothing gets repaired, the shower doesn't work properly the washing machine is draining into buckets among several other issues that affect our daily life unfortunately we still have 9 more month to go.

They were far superior to any other estate agents we dealt with, highly professional but also friendly and very understanding when we had to delay due to mums illness and didn't pressure us at all. I honestly don't know how we would have got through the moving process without Kate. Thank you so much to Kate and everyone else we dealt with at Knight Frank.
8th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)After slow progress with our first agent, we switched to Steve Grantham based on a recommendation, and we couldn’t be happier. The photography of our home was completed soon after instruction, and to a very high standard. As a result, and even in times of economic uncertainty and rising interest-rates, we had several viewings very early on. From day one, through to completion and beyond, communication was exceptional. We loved the personalised approach, where everything was dealt with professionally and timely. No waiting for letters, no lengthy emails – just quick and easy action. This took a lot of stress out of the moving process and ensured that we completed on both our sale and purchase in just 8 weeks. We’ll definitely be recommending Steve to others.

12th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)Seymours is a company I would recommend although their initial valuation was a bit too high. Their feedback on viewings could be better but everyone is friendly and approachable. The photographer was very slow to take photos of the property.
