6th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)I first met Paul and Tanya when I bought my house, nearly a decade ago. When it came to selling it I didn’t hesitate to contact Clarke Gammon again. In my experience they have always been friendly, polite and professional. If you are like me and appreciate the extra attention to detail then I would recommend using them. Somebody from the team is always available to receive calls and reply to emails promptly. Selling or buying a house is not always plain sailing so you want a good agent like them to help resolve issues efficiently and effectively. I am happy to say that the house I am buying is through them also. Thanks to everybody at the Haslemere office! Tanya was very helpful, all the time she worked on our house sale. Always friendly, prompt with communications and happily to provide helpful advice. It was a shame that she moved to a different job prior to completion. However, this was fine because Paul took over the reigns with the same level of care and attention. Friendly and helpful people that clearly enjoy their job, and it shows. Update on purchase: This will be the third time I have had the good fortune to be using the services of Clarke Gammon Haslemere. In my experience everybody at the Haslemere office has always been top class. This purchase, like any other, has had testing moments but Paul did everything humanly possible to help. Often going beyond what you would expect of an estate agent. Communication and promptness was second to none. Thanks very much and I do hope our paths cross in the future. Although we are very happy with the new house so won’t be moving anytime soon.

Rachelle and Stuart were incredibly professional, treating all interested parties honestly and fairly and thereafter super accommodating in facilitating access for various reasons pre-sale. Their paperwork and thoroughness was also first rate. Would strongly recommend!
29th Sep 2023 (6 mo. ago)Charters have kept close communication with me and have been fully engaged throughout my selling journey. They have been realistic with me on selling price and helped negotiations through the chain to make the deal work. Once a sale was agreed they appointed an agent to work 1-1 with me to progress the sale and stay close to my Solicitor and my Buyer - this was a service unique to Charters as I have not found this with any other Estate Agent.

Although I couldn’t conclude my home search through him (because I happened to come across a better house listed by another estate agent at about the same time by chance), I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy professional agent who communicates and follows up well with you before during and after viewing. And one who wouldn’t bother to research and give me a detail technical breakdown of the costs and items of work involved in replacing the carpets by hardwood flooring for the viewed house. Appreciated, and thanks!

8th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)We had used KL to sell our house in 2014, and chose the new house in Liphook by asking KL, what they had on their books, after an exhaustive search for a house and over 20 viewings, with other agents. We felt that we could trustJohn and Franco, from our previous experience. And true to form they where extremely professional responsive and helpful throughout the process.

4th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)We have just bought and sold with Hillier and Wilson. Their local knowledge was a great bonus in getting us into our new home. The whole team were always available to answer questions or deal with chain issues in a quick and positive manner. Carol, in particular, was a major driving force in liaising with solicitors and the rest of the chain to get the whole chain to completion. I would thoroughly recommend them, whether buying or selling.
15th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)We rented a property through this company, and I would strongly advise any tenants to avoid using Masella Coupe and their lettings property management team. Over the course of our tenancy, we had countless interactions with Gilli Dyer (Property Manager) who was unable to answer, respond and pass over basic information in time on a regular basis. As an example, it took her 6 months to personally carry out an inspection on a mouldy, damp cupboard that we were persistently trying to resolve. This resulted in a contractor arriving to the property and immediately finding the cause of the problem which turned out to be a leak from a pipe running through the cupboard containing waste water from the flats upstairs. No apology, or monetary reimbursement was made from Gilli or Masella Coupe regardless of the numerous days we had to book off work to cover the works needed on the flat. It seems Masella Coupe and Gilli Dyer are keen to make sure the landlord has a positive outcome despite their own shortfalls in providing a stable and reliable lettings service in which decisions are made fairly and with an ounce of common sense, resulting in us tenants living in a health hazard for 6 months. Leading to our end of tenancy with them, to which they did not take the previous experience into account and allowed the landlord to draw out releasing the deposit via the DPS until almost 4 months later. From other reviews on Google, it shows their sales team is well equipped to deal with selling properties and assisting customers through this process, however it shows some basic customer service and communication training needs to be carried out on the lettings side of the business.
