24th May 2022 (2 years ago)After an extremely traumatic and abrasive move back to Hull from Ireland after 13 years I found a property on Poppy residential. Being in between jobs and lacking some original documentation (that was in Dublin) the staff were extremely empathetic and helpful. I can say that after building a rapport with Amy (an employee) she went well above and beyond her duties to ensure that I secured the apartment. This young lady is an asset to the company and all staff I dealt with were pleasurable. I’ve no doubt other companies would’ve turned me away and I’d be couch surfing by now. Well done to Amy and staff. Dan

I have had prompt feedback from all viewings which is really helpful as a seller. I cannot single any one individual out from the team as they have all been excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to friends.

30th Aug 2024 (10 days ago)We recently used Oscars to sell our property and from start to finish they have been brilliant. Alisdair has lots of experience and knowledge of the market and wanted to sell the property for what it was worth coming back with the highest valuation and it sold within 24hrs of listing. Stef handled the process from there and her communication and customer care throughout was brilliant nothing was ever any trouble and she was always very professional and quick to respond to any enquiries. I would highly recommend Oscars to anyone wanting to sell their property no hesitation at all.
12th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)Just had my first 1st and hopefully the last contact with this letting agent I will ever have. As I was advocating I remained calm and polite trying to explain the situation but was spoken over and spoken to like i was a child misbehaving. Joni was rude extremly unprofessional and extremly condescending. I would give zero stars but that not an option. After reading the reviews I can understand why so many are negative. When it comes to finding an estate agent I would recommend anywhere but here.

I had a number of the larger agencies come round my property and I felt like just another number to them and there was no personal touch- some didn't even get back to me. Taylors is a smaller agency but you feel massive benefits due to this. I dealt with both Gemma and Chris and can recommend them highly- always quick to respond and very friendly. The sale went like clockwork and there were no problems. I liked the fact that Taylors were realistic with sale prices and due to this, my house sold quickly and for a good price. No over promising and under delivering like other agencies did. I would highly recommend Taylors for pleasant, smooth and professional estate agency. Wouldn't use anyone else. Thank you for all your hard work and help.

19th Aug 2024 (21 days ago)The worst property agency. Unprofessional, lazy, lying staff. Cannot believe we gave them so many chances (full management as well) and they have repeatedly disappointed us. First of all, they rented out the property to a tenant that made a HOLE IN THE WALL (with BLOOD splatter) and also a HOLE IN THE SHOWER TRAY. We told them not to return the deposit until after the repairs are done. Instead, they did exactly the opposite of that. When we pointed this out, they started SHIFTING THE BLAME to us. Tenant number 2 complained the garage remote stopped working. We were away and had paid Lime for full management. We asked Lime if they have changed the remote for the battery. They claimed to have done this and wanted to charge us £120 for the call out and for a new remote. We insisted they waited a few days util we got home. Meanwhile, they were rudely hassling us about the issue. As soon as we got home, I went to check the remote and was suspicious the batteries were never changed. True enough, all it needed was a new battery. Not only did they LIE about changing the battery, but they tried to CON us out of money! After Tenant no 2, we decided we had enough and told them we were not continuing with them. We went to collect our keys and remote control. We had to REMIND them there was a remote control, at which point they went RUMMAGING and produced a remote (they claimed it was the only one there). It looked different so we tried it on the garage door- it did not work! They were supposed to tell the council about the change in ownership and I repeatedly CHASED them about this but did not get a response. Finally, I received a letter from the council to charge me for the council tax as well as a FINE for late payment. The council produced evidence that they have contacted Lime several times but not only have Lime NOT told us, they have IGNORED the letters until the final one which was a fine. We wrote a complain to them regarding the above issue and once again, they took NO RESPONSIBILITY and tried SHIFTING THE BLAME between us and the council. Not once did they offer an APOLOGY for their behaviour. This is a company that do not appear to be aware of their RUBBISH customer service or frankly any idea how to do their job. Edit after reply from company: Another rubbish reply to act as if you want to do something about the situation 1 MONTH after the review when you know who I am, how to contact me and that I have contacted you informing you I am going to put a review before I did so. I would just recommend NOT to use this company.

Also their fees are reasonable Procedure wise they are very thorough and keep the client ie seller informed at every step of the process Kyle did a wonderful job by preparing the property advertisement portfolio and then carried out the viewings also informing us the views of the interested parties Kyle personally is a thorough gentleman and is approachable through emails Overall good experience and satisfied with the service provided. Will recommend anyone deciding to sell at Victoria docks especially.
