11th Dec 2023 (21 weeks ago)John was great to deal with throughout the process apart from being let down with 2 days notice from moving into property leaving me disappointed and left to sort out returning a sofa, bed and wardrobes at expense to myself so close to Christmas. Highly unprofessional giving me 2 days notice via email that the property was no longer to be let and to let them know bank details to return deposit. Very dissatisfied with service led to believe the property was mine…
27th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)I cannot recommend Roffeys enough. My partner and I have been looking for a flat for months now and we went to pretty much all renting agencies in Waltham abbey. All of them told us there was nothing available until we luckily went to Roffeys. We met Charlotte, who is such a kind and welcoming person. She offered us three options, we went for the second one and we will now be moving in soon. Very welcoming and helpful team! Thank you Charlotte and Katina.
1st Oct 2021 (2 years ago)I am moving to my new home tomorrow. Thanks to Gill and Sophie who made it happens. Their services have been professional and refreshing from those estate agents who left bitter taste in me. Genuine and pragmatic people, happy to assist and provided professional direction throughout the viewing and referencing stages. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to buy or rent in the area they serve and you would find a friendly and professional services that is quite hardly found in today’s estate agenting. 25th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)The director, Ken Lomas has limited knowledge of property transfer and was being rude to legal advisor. I sought clarification on entries of their account and he told me "Why don't you check the Lease!". If you are not entirely sure what is going on, please be humble and refer to the person who is specializing in this area. Their colleague, Ms Michelle Amato deserves a honor as she is helping out a lot throughout the transaction.
17th Apr 2024 (16 days ago)We have been with Farr O’Neil for over 4 years since they were in charge of our property. Always very helpful and responsive when it came to maintenance or just about anything related to our home. We are now moving into a new beautiful house and once again, Sabrina in particular was just soooo helpful making the entire process very smooth. From finding us the new property, to helping us deal with all necessary checks and finally arranging move out/in detail!! Absolute star!! Thank you ????
24th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Terrible estate agents put us through hell for nearly a year couldn't be bothered to do anything didn't wanna fix any problems me my 3 year old daughter and partner got moved to harlow by hackney council so woodlands was our estate agents if anything needed repairs they was meant to sort it we had no hot water or heating for nearly a year kept complaining nothing got done we had to sleep in the living room as the whole house was covered in mould and our clothes washing machine floor cooker my daughter's toys everything was ruined they told us to clean it ourselves my 3 year old now has asthma she was healthy before we moved their I had carbon monoxide poisoning due to the sever smell of mould environmental health found over 28 hazards and shut the place down only a week before we had to move due to the property being shut down they put a new boiler in after waiting nearly a year they lie they are disrespectful and rude Please if you have a property from woodlands screen emails messages take pictures because that's what we did from the day we moved in they called us liers but we had all the evidence now solicitors and environmental health are involved
26th Apr 2024 (7 days ago)I rented a property from Spencer Munson back in 2011 , throughout the tenancy Spencer and team went above and beyond. There was one occasion i was away and my son lost his keys, Spencer came out on a Sunday to give my son the spare set, a life saver has I was out of the country. Most recently due to personal reasons I need to rent a property, I called Spencer ( luck would have it Spencer answered the call) . Within one week of the call Spencer had a beautiful property which he knew I would love. I met the landlord who was so sweet and has known and worked with Spencer for many years. I have now secured the tenancy. I am going through a difficult time and I can not thank ‘Spencer ‘and ‘Annie’ enough for all their support and finding me a property so quickly. I strongly recommend Spencer Munson , properties are always of a high standard and any problems are resolved quickly and effectively Thank you Spencer & Annie making a difficult time easier

11th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Fantastic experience with Jacqui. If you are looking for a more personal experience then look no further. From valuation to completion Jacqui was all over it! She did a lot of the chasing and calming of sellers and vendors in the chain. She uses a professional photographer which was one of the things I loved, as I've seen some truly awful listings. She managed the open day and offers promptly and got me a buyer who actually saw it through to the end. Always there for a catch up or update. Unlike some of the other chains, she never sold my data to removal companies etc and I always felt she was looking out for my best interests, not just the commission, which by the way was also the lowest quote I got, as some of the others quoted but never mentioned that it excludes VAT. An easy 5 stars and I've recommended to friends and family.

And knowledgeable too - any estate agent that answers ‘I don’t know’ to a difficult question about a property shouldn’t be doing viewings! And this definitely wasn’t our experience with Sarah and with Fine & Country. All of which means good experience and progress in buying a property with them, that deserves five stars.

2nd Jan 2024 (17 weeks ago)This is an estate agent on another level. Instead of going for the same kind of corporate, profit driven, pushy stereotype that we have all come to know (and loathe) the team at Hestia’s are the opposite. Their focus is on individuals, they want to really get to know and help people. The people who’s houses they are tasked with selling but also the people who want to buy them. We instinctively got on well with the team from our first meeting and it was just a pleasure working with them. Conversations were always professional and productive, but most importantly they were conversations and at no point did we feel dictated to. Viewings were handled respectfully; communication was great with plenty of notice at every turn and they found perfect buyers for our home. As with any process there were complications, but Hestia’s made a huge effort to help us and our buyer overcome these issues which made everything work in the end. In short without their help, we would not have been able to move when we did. I would not hesitate in recommending Hestia’s to anyone trying to sell their home in South London. They are brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the effort they put in.

We chose Bowden Bradley to sell our house in Hainault, as they were a locally based but forward-looking modern agency that offered a competitive no-sale no-fee pricing structure. We were immediately impressed with Robin's insightful market evaluation and emphasis on the importance of finding the right type of buyer as well as the best possible offer. At the time given the market conditions, without such guidance, it may well have taken us many more months to receive a good offer from reliable buyers. The quality of their photography and videography was great too and they were able to get us listed days after we signed with them. We'd also like to thank Emilea, who did a great job in helping progress the sale and keep all parties updated - without which we may not have been able to complete before Christmas!

So thank you guys for all your assistance in quick response on every question I raised. So thank you in person to Thai, Sophie and Wayne for patiently responding even out of working hours.
