9th Aug 2024 (8 weeks ago)I used Reeds Rains in the past for a previous sale and the service was excellent. So used them again at at the West Derby branch and once again, an excellent service and communication by the whole team, especially Darren and Justin who I mostly dealt with.

She is always on hand to help with any questions I have. Charlotte has made the purchase move along extremely quickly without being pushy. Would highly recommend to others.

8th Aug 2024 (8 weeks ago)AWFUL MANAGEMENT, I gave my property to address and they are as close to a scam as you can get. They give you maintenance work that needs to be done on the property and then when you go and do your own quote you find they are charging you 3 times the average price. Once you get your own contractor they avoid your emails and calls and after asking to leave due to this they want to charge you a crazy amount. Debra on the phone stated we have tenants that want to move in but now that youve asked to leave im gonna give them to someone elses house. Clear negligence and I will be taking further legal action.

Applied for a parking space in my building on the first of august as the area around my building has very limited parking and with my limited mobility from my Cystic Fibrosis i was struggling to get to my Motability vehicle without excessive stress, Called and addresses that I was interested in the space I saw available online, I checked every couple of days to get an update, after a lack of communication from all staff including the Management Team and multiple emails and calls and being told to call back after 2:30 only to be ignored after every request I made. Leighton McMylor in particular seemed to take extra steps to ignore any and all attempts to find out more information on the application I wished to put a deposit on, I was told today that the spaces available had been signed by other tenants and was no longer available. Thank you Reeds rains for being no different than any other estate agents.

Giovanni took on the property and had it under offer in 2 weeks. He came as recommendation from my father in law and I would recommend him to anyone.

18th Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)Where do I start with this company, firstly Paula couldn't run a bath, never mind a letting agency, she broke confidentiality, her husband, the owner John, along with Paula took no responsibility for their incompetence in dealing with my tenancy agreement, I tried to discuss matters with them and they accused me of being aggressive and abusive, which is untrue, as I have all the conversation recorded, including John demanding I leave the office, they stated I tried to extort money from them which again Was not the case, never once did I mention anything about money, They are a family run business so all stick together and will take no responsibility for their failings I understand that this is only my dealings with them and others may have had a different experience
18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

15th Sep 2024 (18 days ago)Extremely unprofessional, especially when refusing to show us proof of the costs they asked of us after we moved out. I have never been charged this much for a clean, especially since it did not require the amount of cleaning asked from the company, and we had zero proof that this cleaning actually took place. They will claim that we “agreed” to pay this amount for cleaning as it was deemed “fair”, when in reality, we simply could not afford to pay an additional £60 to dispute their ridiculous pricing in case we lost and had to pay extra. This, understandably, caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety, and I would not trust this company to advocate for tenants. Would not recommend.
