3rd Oct 2024 (20 days ago)Great deal for landlords but a complete neglect towards renters. The review has nothing to do with the way I left your neglecting services. Repairs took months, bathroom got ripped out twice in two years because you don't check your handymen credentials. The fact that the reaction to this review is talking about personal account just shows you what type of company this is, my review has nothing to do with the way I left this scam adjacent company.
6th May 2024 (24 weeks ago)Initial impression was very good. We were led to believe the market was good and to give it a go at the higher end of the valuation. We were promised a premium marketing plan with professional photos and description which would justify the premium price valuation for the area. We agreed to wait 3 weeks to launch on Boxing Day being led to believe there would be several enquiries and viewing requests to hold an open house event in January. Despite having 3 weeks to prepare the marketing materials the standard was far below expectations. The photographs were poor the description omitted several of the unique selling features of our house . We were presented with the brochure the day before the deadline for the Boxing Day launch and requested several initial amendments to the description but we could not alter the photographs so I was forced to take some photos myself to be included. Following a subsequent complaint we were told that if we’re not satisfied with the marketing we were at liberty to suggest changes with no acknowledgement of the short timescale and the extremely poor standard of the initial marketing. I was later told by the sales manager that the photographs and description are not that important anyway !!! We were told that the agents would be ringing around purchasers on their books to generate interest. When we had no interest generated and asked what they had done we never received a full answer which would match what had been promised. We began to hear stories of WH Brown not getting back to potential purchasers when leaving answer phone messages and suspect ( though cannot be proven ) that this happened to us . We believe this because in a four month period an almost identical property had 7 viewings when we only had 1. When we stopped contacting the branch we heard nothing from them for a whole month at which point we submitted a formal complaint. In our experience this agency did the very minimum to sell our house. The initial confidence led us to sign a sole agency agreement which now means that if we sell to one of 3 clients they claim they introduced ( highly unlikely but not the point) They will persue a claim for 3% fee . Be very wary of signing such a contract.

The property was on the market with two agents, but we chose Starkey and Brown specifically after a bad experience as former renters with the other agent. Right from the first contact, everyone we dealt with was professional, honest, and diligent, and ensure things moved in a very timely manner. We'd like to give a special mention to Angie, who helped make a stressful house buying time, much easier, and it was always such a pleasure to receive a call with updates from her. Thank you!
14th Apr 2024 (6 mo. ago)I dealt with Davey Pearson’s at Leaders for my property purchase. From the start I was impressed by the very professional approach Davey offers to mediating the transaction. Consistently keeping all parties involved in the loop. Davey and Yvonne helped navigate the purchase at every stage. Exchanging details between parties promptly and concisely. In short, I would highly recommend this firm. The bonus was that Davey understood the complexity of the loan arrangement and offered alternative contacts for solicitors and lenders.

I'm a first time buyer so was just putting up with it at first, but everytime I look elsewhere for understanding I find out just how much this agency is not working in line with normal expectations. They provide no information then chase you as if you're a nuisance. Information from them doesn't match up with what I get from my solicitors. The entire process has been much more stressful than necessary and I'm ridiculously disappointed. I have family moving up North and with how bad this process has been I'm at a point where I would encourage them to miss out on great properties just to avoid dealing with Lovelle Hykeham- 19th Dec 2023 (10 mo. ago)Liam and the team at Lovelle were excellent in helping us to sell our property. Their marketing of our property made the difference, especially during the current slow down of house sales.
24th May 2024 (22 weeks ago)This is the third time I have used Pridea to sell a property. Exactly the same experience every time. The property sells quickly with one robust sale that goes through to completion. Not my experience of using other estate agents in the area.

18th May 2024 (23 weeks ago)As a landlord from outside the area we approached a number of estate agents to sell our 3 bedroom rental property and chose Matt & the Kinetic team for a number of reasons : 1. An excellent Trustpilot rating, 2. A realistic assessment of the current market situation and a sensible valuation report and listing figure 3. Dynamic current marketing methods including social media posts and a quality listing with excellent photos 4. Creation of a professional, narrated guided video tour of our vacant property 5. Impressive shared data analysis of the effectiveness of their marketing and reach 6. Accompanied viewings at all times The result was a cash offer within 2 weeks and completion in a further 5 weeks, during which Jo chased the two conveyancers and updated us with the latest progress throughout. A very successful outcome with no hassle!

4th Oct 2024 (19 days ago)Ben acted as my estate agent after using a larger firm from Lincoln, who clearly weren't bothered or motivated and didn't listen to instruction and failed me. Walters produced a professional sales brochure and was happy to tweak if needed. They are happy to work as a team yet independently with common sense when needed. Ben was personable and professional with an unusual property to sell. As predicted it wasn't the quickest sale but after the first flurry and then a little nudge, Ben was back on it and secured the sale of my Dads bunglow. He was always reachable and as a smaller family firm I m guessing each sale is important for them too. This didn't mean he was therefore happy to sell at any price like his competitors. He worked in my best interest, and I felt advised well and I would happily recommend for any other clients to trust him to do the same for them. I don't blow smoke and am very honest with feedback. (Hence not naming the bigger firm) Pay that little bit more to get a far better service. Thank you Ben and team, i hope you know how much it meant to me to be able to trust in you particularly with other things happening around me. Thank you from the bottom of my ??
