19th Mar 2026 (10 weeks ago)Poor experience with this letting agent, not helped by the tightest landlord (Kate) who wouldn't pay for repairs to be done in a timely manner, leaving our family in tricky circumstances more than once. When they do eventually send someone over to complete the work, it'll be done shoddily. I hope that £43 you managed to claim back via the DPS versus the nearly £800 you asked for is helpful :) To any renters - be under no illusion, the letting agent works for the landlord and is not there to help you in the slightest. This specific letting agents manager will suggest you scrape and replaster the bathroom ceiling (which was poorly maintained by the landlord) yourself "to make the house your own".

Special mention to Zoe, whose exceptional people skills made a real difference. She kept us informed at every stage, ensuring we felt comfortable and confident in all our dealings with the process. The entire team made what could have been a stressful time feel smooth and straightforward – this includes the extremely efficient and helpful telephone staff that often took our calls and reassured us. Highly recommend Brown and Co for anyone looking to buy or sell – they truly go above and beyond.

Our purchase was quite unique with some significant challenges throughout the purchase, through no fault of anyone, but Julie and Hayden were great in ensuring lines of communication remained transparent. Doug Webster, in particular, has been outstanding throughout the process. He has maintained regular contact, keeping me updated every step of the way and making what can often be a stressful experience feel far more manageable. Doug has consistently gone above and beyond, especially in helping to progress the purchase when my solicitors have been far less proactive. His professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine commitment to getting things moving have been hugely appreciated. Excellent customer service from start to finish – thank you, Doug and the DDM Grimsby team!

From the moment the viewing was arranged, Remi was incredibly organised and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. During the viewing, Remi was thorough, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about providing the best possible service. Every question was answered with confidence, and nothing felt rushed. It’s rare to find an estate agent who combines such energy, care, and attention to detail, but Remi truly delivered on all fronts.

31st Jul 2023 (2 years ago)Living in Bridlington and having to sell my parents property in Louth I was unsure of which estate agent to use , however , I just recalled that a board with "John Taylor " on had been outside my grandparents property way back so I decided on that. What a great decision that was, John Taylor have been exceptional from day one to completion, always at the end of the phone with help and advice, great communications as to when viewings would be ( the property was empty and the keys left with John Taylor, and a great understanding that this was not just a house sale to me but the sale of my family home for the last 69 years, the house I grew up in and called home for all those years. I cannot fault them in any way , the only word I can use is "exceptional" Special thanks to Anne who was outstanding , she is a star. kindest regards to all at John Taylor and many many thanks . 14th May 2026 (17 days ago)Wouldn’t use this agent again to help find a property. Communication was very poor throughout the process. We viewed a property back in February and were initially told the landlord wouldn’t accept our application. Later, after the property had not had many viewings, they accepted an application from us. We were completely transparent from the start about a recently paid-off CCJ. After going through referencing, we were left waiting only to eventually be told the landlord decided not to proceed after another interested party came along. This could and should have been communicated much earlier. The agency seems to prioritise landlord decisions at the expense of customer care and basic communication. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

5th Dec 2025 (25 weeks ago)Very poor experience trying to sell my property with this estate agent. Experienced zero support even when I tried to discuss strategy to ensure better interest in my property. I feel I wasted 16 weeks with little communication or care. Glad to be moving on with another local agent who has already proved themselves to be much more engaged with the seller than I experienced with Hunters in Horncastle.

11th May 2026 (20 days ago)Having just moved home I wanted to say a massive thank you to Fairweather Estate Agents. At the beginning I was looking for a company who presented themselves professionally, not just telling me what I wanted to hear and later get disappointed, quality photography, description of a home not just a couple of lines and friendly personalities. Once I met Claire I was soon encouraged me to choose them for all the above reasons. I was not wrong. Home moving is a very stressful process and particularly Juan supported by Sophie made it a much easier, smoother and calmer time. No matter what came up it was dealt with, not only professional but also it felt on a personal level. 28th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)I was purchasing a property through Paul Fox and throughout the entire process, including both solicitors failing to communicate and progress, Sharna at Paul Fox was the only one who was proactive, communicative, helpful, and supportive. Getting both of the solicitors to actually communicate properly was like watching two Roombas attempt to knife fight, and Sharna honestly kept me sane. If I decide to sell in the future I'll be using Paul Fox without a doubt.
