17th Apr 2025 (4 weeks ago)Diana and the team were very responsive, always came back to me promptly and kept me up to date with the viewings booked in, how they went and the status of the offers. Northwood were cheaper than a couple of other estate agents I tried but I settled on Northwood due to their responsiveness and the service they provided. Their valuation of the property was also lower than the other estate agents but after discussing this, they agreed to put the property on at the slightly higher value and we achieved the sale price quickly.

17th May 2025 (1 day ago)We haven't sold the property, we're switching agents. We feel that The Property Man over valued the property and then were not honest with us. We feel they should have advised us to really reduce the price and stage the property to give it a chance to attract a suitable buyer.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

18th Dec 2024 (22 weeks ago)I recently had to sell mums house due to her going into care. It was the family home which she had lived in for 68 years so it was upsetting for all of us. I chose Locate because they are local and have a very good reputation and that reputation is justified. From the valuation to completion Kirsty and Jade did everything possible to make it as easy as they could for me. Communication was fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you Kirsty and Jade you made a difficult situation more bearable.
