23rd Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)Ever since being a tenant in my current accommodation nearing 6 years I have nothing bad to say. Very reassuring from the get go, as a nervous, unsure 1st time tenant. Have helped guide myself, struck great communication on behalf of myself with my landlady. Nothing is ever a problem either if something needs to be done.
9th Jun 2023 (11 mo. ago)My father’s house in N8 was sold quickly and efficiently while I was sitting in the sun, in my house in Italy! The staff, led by Christian, did everything for us without ever having met any of them! I had an initial phone call when I instructed Prickett & Ellis to take care of the sale, then, all communication, appointments etc… was done via emails! Excellent Agents, friendly, professional and helpful ! Would recommend without hesitation!

10th Sep 2018 (5 years ago)Do not rent from this company. After renting a high-end property in St Johns Wood, this firm has been a nightmare to deal with. From the start, the condition of the property was sub-par. Despite repeated requests for cosmetic repairs and promises to rectify, these went ignored, then once we moved, they have attempted to claim for items which are clearly visible in the check-in report pictures and the ones we had been asking to be repaired since the start of our tenancy, and at excessive prices. They are not responsive and despite moving out 3 months ago, we still have not received our security deposit back. I would highly recommend you rent from a more reputable and professional firm. Do not trust your money to this agency. We will never rent from them again.

18th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)For the sake of anonymity I won’t mention any names… The agent arrived late and didn’t notify me until 15 mins after the schedule time to let me know they will be a further 15-20 mins. They confirmed viewings for two properties and then only told us one was under offer when eventually showing up and claimed they notified us and that the email confirmation would reflect this… which it didn’t as it said we had two viewings. Then they told my wife to just forget about it rather rudely when she respectfully expressed her disappointment. They then accused me of not being serious when giving a genuine offer and proceeded to lecture me on the phone without giving me a proper chance to speak. I had to respectfully interrupt them to get a word in. It’s a shame really we have been looking for properties for over a year now and this was the first time we were exposed to this level of inconsideration.

16th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)We had a fantastic experience with Amberden. Madeleine was in the first place so helpful to me when I was struggling to clear my mother's house, so that it could be viewed for selling. I was overwhelmed and she was truly helpful. And then when it came to the actual selling she and the team were brilliant - making sure it was put on at the right moment, alert to all viewers, with so much experience behind her - she was indefatigable! Our house could not have been better sold, in my view. I would recommend Amberden to everyone. Their estimate for the value of our property incidentally happened to be above the other estimates, but they proved in the end that they were right.
14th Oct 2022 (1 year ago)Hi, one of the worst estate agents ever, i was one of the first person to call for a 2 bedroom flat in crouch end. Called everyday for updates that none was able to give me. never called back as they promised for information i was asking. finally when I called and got to speak to Shannon who was the lady i was dealing with, she said:" oh yes! we had viewings already and offers are in as well"for the ones who are looking for renting at the moment do not count on this estates agent, and dont forget they are always extremely busy!!

The staff at Selmans Lettings were fantastic. They were always available to answer my questions and addressed any concerns I had very fast, I have honestly never received service like this from an estate agents firm before. Nick was very helpful in finding me a property that perfectly matched my needs and budget, he made the viewing process so easy and constantly communicated with me when I needed any help, the personal care was great. Tom and his team are great to work with and their fees are far more reasonable than other ‘household’ names in the business. Who says you need to pay more for a personal touch? Highly recommended to any homeowner looking to become a landlord.

He is extremely professional and very pragmatic but he is also a great communicator and very well connected with trades people which helped a lot in getting the flat ready for tenancy. highly recommend him.
