11th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)My experience with Barnard Marcus estate agents is with their lettings department in finchley N12.<br>Having a number of properties in North Finchley I have been dealing with their lettings manager for the past 7 or 8 years.<br>What I like is the strong understanding and relationship with the same person for the whole timep. The lettings manager Linas to be very understanding of my requirements and very personable to deal with and I find him to be very efficient in his job.<br>All the rentals which I have given to Linas he has obtained good quality tenants within aabout two days and most recently within half a day.

3rd Jun 2026 (16 days ago)After recently ending a tenancy of almost 15 years, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank Ellis & Co and, in particular, Belinda, Khalid and Niki for their professionalism, support and guidance throughout the years. Fifteen years is a long time to rent a property, and during that time we treated the house as if it were our own home. We took great pride in looking after it, maintaining it carefully and, in our view, returned it in a significantly better condition than when we first moved in. Like any long-term tenancy, there were naturally maintenance matters and property issues that arose over the years, some of which we felt could have benefitted from more proactive attention and investment. What stood out throughout was the support provided by Ellis. The team consistently acted professionally, responded promptly and always tried to find practical and fair solutions. A special thank you to Belinda, who worked incredibly hard to guide all parties through what at times became a challenging and sensitive end-of-tenancy process. Her patience, professionalism and willingness to mediate fairly were greatly appreciated. Khalid and Niki were also always approachable, knowledgeable and helpful whenever advice or assistance was needed. One of the things we valued most was the distinction between the service provided by the agency and the differing expectations that can sometimes arise between landlords and long-term tenants. Ellis always approached matters with professionalism and fairness, helping to navigate situations that were not always straightforward. Moving after 15 years was an emotional experience for us, but we are grateful to have had an agency that genuinely cared and supported us throughout the journey. They were professional, approachable, and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Their support and attention to detail made everything simple and hassle-free. It’s rare to find such dedicated and helpful people. I would highly recommend this agency and especially appreciate the excellent service from Adora and Sarshar.

2nd Jun 2026 (17 days ago)I recently secured an apartment to rent in London through Foxtons, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. As I live around 2.5 hours away, a clear and honest video viewing was really important. Many agents I contacted were either slow, vague, or failed to show key details properly, but Amir and Jamal were completely different. The video was transparent, showing the property, access, street, parking, and residential setting clearly. Communication was quick, professional, and straightforward throughout. Amir and Jamal gave clear guidance, helped move the application along quickly, and made what is usually a very stressful rental search feel much easier. Really impressed with the service; clear, upfront, and reliable. Thank you to Amir and Jamal for making the process so smooth.
23rd May 2026 (27 days ago)Extremely disappointed with the service from this agency. I arranged a same-day viewing with Yovin. I arrived on time and parked directly behind his vehicle. The viewing took no more than 5 minutes, but when I stepped outside, a parking attendant was issuing me a ticket. Shockingly, the attendant was speaking with Yovin and did not fine him, despite Yovin not displaying a permit either. Instead of looking out for a client or speaking up, Yovin just stepped in his car without bothering, showing a complete lack of basic professionalism or care. The double standard and indifferent attitude from the agent were incredibly unprofessional. Looked almost like collusion. I will certainly not be dealing with this agency again. Edit in response to the below: Your response response shows the callous attitude of the Estate Agency not just the specific agent. I understand the parking ticket is outside the remit of the EA, what I'm surprised about was the estate agents response. The EA was there when I got the ticket he was just parked ahead of my car, he spoke to the parking attendant as though he knows him and didn't get a ticket not moved his car, so tour response below, holds no value.

Caroline helped my sister and I get our new apartment in West London and we couldn’t be happier - a very smooth process, a user-friendly app for paperwork purposes and above all, a lovely lady who went above and beyond to guide us through the whole transaction. We viewed and moved in within 10 days - highly recommend. Thanks so much Caroline!
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

9th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)5 starts purely for Kyra Naomi, we ended up enduring a 9month sale that was not straight forward and Kyra was attentive the entire time. Most people in this situation would give up or not be bothered as it took so long but Kyra was always on the phone or available by text never an issue. Great employee. TA did not act on behalf of me but Kyra was great to deal with.
