9th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)I was helping my dad to sell his house, and a friend recommended them as they had recently used them when selling their property and told us that they were really good.<br><br>We looked a few different agents and chose Phillip Alexander because from the first visit they were professional and provided honest advice.<br><br>Bradley and Dominika were absolutely brilliant, they listened to all our needs. They kept us informed throughout the whole process.<br><br>The initial buyer pulled out last minute, and the team found a new buyer less than two weeks later! He kept us updated at every stage and really helped to smooth over the back-and-forth on a few contract points with the seller's side. He was always quick to respond and clearly worked to keep things moving forward, which made a real difference during what can be a stressful process. We'd happily recommend Jamie and the team at Paramount to anyone buying in the area.

She gave us unbiased information, but supported us when making difficult decisions and really helped us push things over the line.<br><br>Thanks to Annie and Tom as well, who were both equally fantastic.<br><br>We're incredibly happy with all their service.
5th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!
7th Sep 2026 (11 days ago)AWFUL experience. If I could give Portico 0 starts I would, I truly could not recommend them less. The lack of communication was the first and most prevalent issue throughout our Tennancy (which was cut short due to a hazardous mould issue which was flagged many times before and during the Tennancy). My flatmate and I spent hours and hours of our time trying to draw attention to and rectify the multiple issues with the property, some more serious than others, on many occasions we were ignored and on some occasions the portico employees were actually very rude. I will not name names but a lady in the Highbury office in particular. The ordeal with portico cost us a great deal financially but also in terms of stress, not to mention the health implications of living in a damp flat for 5+ months during the height of winter, in an uninsulated room, where the radiator fell off the wall and the heating did not work initially. I don’t ever leave bad reviews but I seriously believe people should avoid this service. Would not wish it upon others, particularly when you are overpaying for a property and working hard to do so!<br>The issues were never ending , and I was constantly in awe of the audacity of Portico to try and charge us for various things that we flagged as issues many times to<br>them and were not our fault. If you have the misfortune of using Portico, I reccomend you keep a record of your engagement with them.<br>Other problems included a gas leak for the first four months of the tenancy, the flat not being cleaned before our arrival, marks all over the place, broken kitchen appliances and shelves, the list goes on.<br>I hope portico work to improve their service and treatment of their clients.<br>Please note the is experience was between August 2024 and March 2025

John's initial consulation and valuation of my property was conducted with honesty openess and enthusiasum, with exception local and market knowledge.<br><br>Once we took the decision to list the property, Coultons moved quickly to get excellent pictures and create a fantastic listing. The bookings for viewings were delp with professionaly and flexibly, and we enjoyed a sale of the property to a excellent prospective buyer represented by Euan who always represented the interests and requirements of both sides of the transaction.<br><br>Throughout the conveyancing process, John and the team were very proactive and responsive to ensure the process kept moving ahead. If we required advice, John and Euan were quick to respond with honest feedback and excellet knowledge.<br><br>Upon exchange - Coultons were quick to present their readyness to all sides of the chain ensuring that exchnage took place smoothly.<br><br>I would highly reccomend John, Euan and the Coultons team to anyone looking at buying or selling a property in thier services areas.

5th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)Very disappointing experience. I had a viewing booked for 3:25 pm and had travelled around 1.5 hours to get there. Before 3:00 pm, I called to let the agent know that due to Underground delays, I would be around 15 minutes late.<br>I was simply told that the viewing could no longer go ahead and that I should rebook for Monday or Tuesday, with no attempt to accommodate a slightly later arrival that day.<br>I understand that being late can affect their schedule, but I gave more than 25 minutes’ notice because the delay was outside my control. After travelling such a long way, I found the way this was handled extremely inflexible and disappointing.
