23rd Sep 2024 (29 days ago)Agency managed by people who don't care. Being in a flat managed by Foxtons Hampsted and paid almost 15k for 6 months rent and: -The toilet seat is still broken -The toilet flush is broken -New silicone has been put on top of MOULDY silicone -Water comes out the shower as the door is broken -Tyles broken in many places -WINDOWS DON'T STAY OPEN! Worse than all, we are being misled as we pick a flat for the private garden but it turn out to be communal! Most of the agents ignore phone calls or emails. No one ever showed at the flat. One of the property manager suggested to us to ask for compensation for the misleading. We paid almost 15k -fifteen thousand- and they offer 250 pound. Most of agents are rude and not very professionals. Still have no news about the time of when the flat will be repaired. Suggestion to everyone: think twice before dealing with this agency. If you'd like more details, please contact me I am sure no one from head office will reach out.

28th Sep 2024 (24 days ago)It is unfortunate you can’t rate negative stars. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this agency. I was asked to provide documentation, which I did by printing multiple pages to PDF via an iPhone app. Due to a technical issue, the letters "Fi" were missing from several words. It’s called a glyph error and is really common, easy to find on a google search. A technical error a human would never make because you must be really stupid to make the same mistake with the same exact letters on multiple pages. Rather than contacting me to clarify the situation, they completely ignored me and avoided direct communication. I was diverted to a receptionist who blatantly lied, claiming that the agents had suddenly gone on annual leave. It was clear they thought I had fabricated documents, which is both ridiculous and insulting, given that any inconsistencies would have easily been addressed during referencing. I was still in the pre-offer stage, but they chose to act in an unprofessional and cowardly manner rather than addressing the issue head-on. Their approach is biased, stereotypical, and outdated, and it’s obvious they pass this attitude on to new staff. Most of the positive reviews they have are misleading; during viewings, I met several agents who seemed completely uninformed and biased. If you're considering working with this agency, especially as a sales customer, be cautious. Their lack of professionalism could end up costing you, just as it has for others. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
24th Sep 2024 (28 days ago)Titas really pulled it out of the bag for us with our current flat search - we were really up against it in terms of time, due to travel and work commitments. Titas was communicative, attentive and worked very hard to help us secure a property which we are very excited about. We're looking forward to our move in a few weeks and are anticipating a great future relationship with Titas and the team at Martyn Gerrard East Finchley.

22nd Sep 2024 (30 days ago)I would not recommend. Throughout the period of my tenancy BTC were barely responsive to messages, calls and emails. The only time we would be in contact is when THEY wanted to contact us. At the end of my tenancy they were no help in the process of returning our deposit and only decided to a MONTH after my contract ended. I as well as the other tenants were overcharged for costs of the house after the tenancy and BTC just kept telling us “they are the middle man” which was so unhelpful. After telling them we were not paying for costs that we were not responsible for they ghosted us. We ended up accepting the costs they put on us as we were tired of no progress. Again, would NOT recommend.

Having rented a property through them to having them manage our property, I can’t shout out loud enough. They are super responsive, helpful, supportive and above all, professional and fair. Thank you for being so amazing!- 20th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)Do not move in to properties from Foxtons. I have been living in a mould infested flat for a year— which sent me to the hospital and an independent mould company confirmed the flat was unsafe to live in because it wasn’t properly damp proofed — and they did nothing. When I decided to move out because of the mould, they immediately started viewings of the flat and are now moving someone in when the landlord has no plans to carry out the 2 months of repairs necessary to make it not a health hazard. Beyond that, though, Foxtons has contacted me to schedule viewings of my flat several times when I explicitly told them not to, and when trying to find a flat with them, they offered ones that did not meet any of my criteria and were not on the market. Overall, I strongly recommend not using Foxtons.

I have called 5 times in the last 5 days to view an apartment and the only answer I got was "My colleagues will call you back".- 15th Jul 2024 (14 weeks ago)Maria, with whom I dealt over buying a possible flat was terrific. It didn't work out in the end ( not her fault) but she went an extra mile to try and see if it could. I highly rate her. Sarah

21st Sep 2024 (4 weeks ago)I just rented an apartment in Golders Green through Peppiatt. Nick Kyriacou was my lettings agent. He was super professional in arranging the viewing, providing information about the property and life in the area as well. Nick went above and beyond to ensure that i got the best deal whilst also considering the landlord’s interest as well and creating a win-win scenario for both parties. Throughout the process, he was always available and easy to reach and made me feel truly comfortable. I was under pressure to find a new flat and i also didnt want to negotiate on my must-haves, i believe Nick was instrumental in helping with this and i’m truly grateful. Great thing they will also be managing the property so i am hopeful to seeing same level of service with the property management team as well. Nick has set the bar really high! Thank you CHP!!
17th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)TLDR: we've got very negative experience as tenants, the agent was lying to us, causing us quite a lot of anxiety. After reference check, and accepted offer, the landlords kept delaying signing the contract for over 3 weeks. The agent (Evelyn Aragundi) communicated to us that there are no reasons for the delay, and motivated the delay with very interesting arguments "so we have everything confirmed", "they are really relaxed personalities", "they're currently travelling,", "they're very busy people", "there's no reason for this as such, I mean it's not like they're unsure". After some very involved week, we've got an email from a manager (James White) of the agent saying that "date was a bit vague until a more conclusive timeframe was confirmed". That clearly demonstrated that agent lied to us, stating that "so we have everything confirmed" while it was not. We wont make an offer in the first place, if we knew that. Worst of all, during the process we've seen no intention to clearly comunicate situation to us, and no intention to find a solution that would work for both parties.

He was quick to answer all our questions and took us through all the changes the landlord was going to carry out. Jason kept the same level of quick, clear communication during the application process, ensuring we were updated and informed every step of the way. His professionalism and dedication made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Something which we really appreciated in the stressful London market
