Hanan Badry has been showing properties to my wife and myself for the past two weeks and deserves full marks for her people skills. She has empathy with the customer needs, is patient and straight in her dealings. I am renting a room in property managed by KFH for 7 months. For 2 of these months I have not have a door on my bedroom as it came off its hinges and KFH have been glacial in replacing it, despite frequent reminders and requests for updates. We are still waiting for confirmation of when this will be replaced. Additionally, the washing machine regularly (70-80%) stops midway through the cycle and has to be restarted. KFH have said that since it technically still functions they have refused to fix/replace it. They don't deal well with the upkeep of the property.... Read more

I complained verbally & in writing about the substantial underselling of my elderly mum's property. The first set of solicitor's of 21 "hand picked" firms, recommended by your off shoot "Completely London", said it was a negligent contract & therefore nul & void. A Contract for Sale signed by both parties is dated 10/1/14. But your Memo of Acceptance of Offer is dated 28/01/14, displaying the name of a 2nd set of solicitors who did not act. The Land Registry sent me a copy of a Transfer Deed witnessed by your negotiator. This, Islington branch of KFH, called the Police on me, when I asked if Contracts had been exchanged & showed them the Daily Mail article of February 2014, about how a rogue agent from Bargets, tried to fleece a dying Arctic-Convoy War hero in St John's Wood, of £800,000 in the underselling of his house, until neighbours intervened. The KFH negotiator and his Manager have since moved on.... Read more

She was able to show me places according to my needs and even tailored the tenancy terms to my requirements. By far the worst customer service that I’ve ever come across. We have lived in the property for almost 2 weeks now and still have not received the correct keys. They gave us one of keys and told us we had to get more cut because we moved in late! What is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard! After complaining there eventually gave us another set but then the lobby key did not work! I was informed by the landlord that she had told them that they had to get the lobby key done by a specialist key cutter, they obviously didn’t listen to a word of that. We currently still do not have keys when I messaged them about it, I was told I had to return the keys because they were a lot of money! You can understand why it’s the worst customer service I have ever come across. They did not apologise for giving us the wrong set of keys they have not said that they are going to get more cut even though it is in the contract. The complete absurdity of this whole situation irritates the hell out of me! That I can’t even get into the property that I’m paying for. But there is more! When we moved into the property of the hot water wasn’t working! It is still not working we have to get a new boiler! They said they checked it a couple days before we move in but the way the company is managed I very much doubt they did. We also have problems with the furniture that is unusable! The table in the living room is completely wonky the chairs scrape against the wooden floor, so at the minute I’m eating my dinner on the sofa. Until my order comes through on Amazon because God knows they are not going to get any new ones. Our double bed in our room has got wheels so every time we get on it I feel like I’m dancing on ice! The shower head is completely screwed! The doors to balcony do not open! I could probably go on for days! Yeah so a long story short you are probably best off not using this company. Ludlow Thompson are a prime example of why estate agents have a poor reputation. Smarmy, dishonest, and unprofessional best sum up our letting experience. Steer clear. We were initially advised that the agreed negotiated price had been accepted but when we went to sign the contracts, the old advertised price was listed instead. First, our agent questioned as to whether I remembered the conversation correctly (he was the one who told me the "good news" of the alleged negotiation- clearly they are lacking basic records), and then he advised that there would be a delay to the move in date as the contracts would need to be amended. Following this, he noted that he would do us the immense "favour" of going ahead on the date as planned but not taking his full commission. He then requested that we give Ludlow Thompson for a positive review because he was doing this "favour" (again, it's not really a favour but more of an attempt put things right in the aftermath of his errors- especially as we had grounds to pull out if the landlord hadn't agreed). He and his colleague then sent me constant e-mails requesting that gleaming review under the guise of possibly winning a free dinner if the review was positive. I don't know who actually believes that nonsense, but certainly not me. I left a semi-positive review because I loved the home, and was also worried about not getting the deposit back in full because not only did I distrust them, but felt that they were quite capable of getting us out of the home if they had a higher bidder. Although gutted, I wasn't surprised to have been served notice at the period of the break clause (not for anything we did). Our neighbour later stated that this happened all the time with our property. When we tried to get support from Ludlow Thompson to find a new property, they failed to respond to e-mails, phone messages, and no one seemed to know whether the agency fees would be needed again in full. One agent advised me that they hate to see people leave at the break clause because "we don't get the full commission". At least they are honest about prioritising their desire for money over customer service. ... Read more

Throughout the tenancy, Complete were very hands off but fine. Within the first year, our locks were changed without our knowledge and permission and I only found out as I came home from work to see that my key did not work, I wasn't informed by them. This lack of communication from their side seems to be common. Having reported a number of issues to them, they've never sent anyone to have a look or repair the issues and I am concerned that I will be charged for these upon leaving. We are due to leave our property managed by them and have been made to pay a referencing fee which is not mentioned anywhere in our contract and they do not have the right to charge. As they were refusing to release our references to our new property, we've had to pay this fee. The first I heard about payment being needed for this fee was from our referencing company NOT from Complete. They have also lied to the referencing agency about our rent being consistently 1-2 days late for 2 years. If this was the case, which is not, why has this not been raised with us for the 2 years we have lived in their property? I've had numerous property managers, all of which seem as incompetent as the last. The only positive in this review is that I will not have to deal with them any long. I would not advise renting a property through them as you will be left woefully unsatisfied.... Read more
