Ben was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful, he took the time to explain the area, transport links, and made the move-in process smooth and stress-free. Imogen and the team have been fantastic, we had a bit of a bumpy ride securing our rental property but were met with nothing but patience, warmth and kindness from all of the team. Imogen was so efficient with everything, nothing was too much to ask and I really felt secure in working with these guys. Will definitely be recommending this team to anyone looking to rent or buy!

Unlike another company we were trying to apply for a house with frank innes well more so Amber swain made our aplication process quick and easy and within a week we are moving into our new home. All the staff in the Arnold office also were a pleasure to work with . Kerry was reassuring , nothing was too much trouble, she returned calls and followed up on enquiries. I hadn't sold a property for over 25 years so I needed someone who would guide me and David James certainly did this . I would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you ????

12th Mar 2026 (5 days ago)My son is currently a tenant in an HMO managed by Nicolas Humphreys, and the experience has been extremely poor. When he moved in, he submitted an inventory with photos highlighting numerous issues. More than 32 weeks later, despite repeated emails and phone calls, most of these issues remain unresolved. We have been told on several occasions that the repairs were completed and that proof would be provided, yet no evidence has ever been shared. There appears to be no accurate record of what work has been done, and no urgency to address the outstanding problems. Given that this is student accommodation, it feels as though the agency relies on young tenants not knowing what standards to expect. They have even attempted to shift blame onto me as guarantor, while asking an uninvolved student in the property to confirm what was outstanding. At present, seven emails remain unanswered without me having to chase for a reply, and multiple requests for a manager to call me back have been ignored. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise avoiding this agency. I last emailed them on 30 January with the full list of outstanding jobs, and there has still been no progress.

Billy was polite & very helpful. Since putting an offer in on the property we viewed he has been so productive and fast with every email I have sent. He now has passed us on to do the next step of the purchase, would recommend Watsons. Thank you Billy.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Buying a home can be stressful at the best of times, but the team kept everything moving smoothly and were always easy to deal with. A big shoutout to Kerry Thomas, who's been fantastic throughout. She was open and transparent throughout the whole process, kept me updated without me ever needing to chase, and was always happy to answer any questions. It's made the whole thing feel a lot less daunting. If you’re buying or selling, I’d definitely recommend HoldenCopley.
