28th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Matthew Stacy was the seller's agent in my recent purchase. Matthew's client is quite dis-organised (e.g. misplacing the keys for the flat on sale), but Matthew dealt with this with a sense of humor, eventually recovering the keys. During the transaction stage, for a while, my solicitor was acting quite slowly. I was able to get hold of lender's inquiries, and saw that one of the items was an electricity certificate. I figured that rather than waiting for my solicitor to talk to the seller's solicitor, I should just ask Matthew. He got the certificate for me the next day, and my solicitor was shocked when receiving it from me. The valuation turned out to be lower than my offer price, which meant that the bank would loan me less money. I was really out of cash by that time. and wanted a price reduction so that the sale would go through. Matthew was able to negotiate with the seller, and I got the price reduction I asked. Overall, a positive experience... Except that Matthew's task is not over even though the sale has completed - a fob is missing - and hopefully, Matthew will help getting it for me!

He has went above and beyond to help me with my search, regardless of the time of day or the query, he was a wonder to deal with on my property search. Even though I didn’t end up renting through JAR, he has still been on standby for updates and to be able available should I need any help. I wouldn’t think twice of consulting JAR for my property needs in the distant future.
17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

Her response was so unprofessional and rude that it made me do this review. I'm impressed with how they are still in business!

18th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)Hi all, If your reading this your probably considering a property with cubix or for cubix to manage your property - just avoid cubix at all costs for your own sake. I stayed in a flat with cubix for 1 year. I don't know where to start of the issues we had with them. There was just too many. A example, before we moved into the flat - we was ensured the flat would be professionally cleaned. We was abit worried as we seen mould and dirt within the inventory report but we was assured all will be cleaned by professionals and they will use high quality cleaning products. We moved into a very dirty flat such as food marks and stains in the kitchen, table, cobwebs around, hair. The flat was just not cleaned at all. I had to contact them and send pictures which it took more than 2 weeks to get a cleaner out. I was happy to know a professional cleaner is coming and I can be around..... the "professional cleaner" came in which was a young man in jeans, couldn't understand English and had only a backpack with him containing 2 sprays. Just a complete joke They are very unprofessional, if you want anything done or help with anything - you have to chase them more than once. Raste is the only person who can sort any problem and the team all seem clueless to what's going on. Glad I have nothing to do with them anymore. The landlord also changed agencies to manage his flat.

They went above and beyond to create a tailored marketing plan rather than just take photos of my property within a day and stick it online. They took the time to showcase my home and really made it stand out from the crowd. Their professionalism and expertise in the market made the whole selling process a breeze and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. 9th Apr 2024 (27 days ago)Gracie and Tiffany did an excellent job assisting the sale of our flat. Market conditions were difficult and we initially had another agent market the property. The other agent failed to get many viewings but when Gracie/Tiffany became agents that changed; there was a significant uptick in viewings and much better communication. We unfortunately had a buyer pull out but Gracie/Tiffany found a new buyer almost immediately. They were very helpful throughout the sales process too and helped get it over the line. Would recommend.

Louisa was phenomenal in navigating us and the buyer - and everyone else in the chain on our sale & purchase as the plot thickened - through all the various unexpected challenges. Tough but tactful, Louisa kept everyone calm & onside and we got over the line avoiding any price chips. Let's be honest - sometimes agents don't always get the best press but Louisa 100% earned a five star rating! Indeed, we wish we could give more stars - thank you!
11th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Stones Residential have no care for their tenants and are only concerned about pleasing the landlords they represent. They took ages to fix various things in our flat, including the hot water last autumn. They took very long to get back to us when we raised issues and even then we received replies that were sharp and rude, with zero empathy. Once we finally moved out they took 3+ months to resolve our dispute and continued to take 0 ownership or responsibility. Avoid at all costs.

22nd Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)While I’m aware Camden Bus has a strong reputation as an agent, this review is about the fact I rang for property value advice to appeal council tax banding. The kind man who answered gave 30 minutes of his time to talk through various properties not expecting anything, just offering expertise and advice. It was much more than I expected - many thanks.
20th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)They are thief’s, i rented out property from this agency, where fire occurred due to neighbours fault, my propery affected due to that, they promised me to find alternative accommodation and then left me on road without any accommodation, then they didn’t not allowed me to access property to collect my stuff while they given access to thier contractor, when i went for collection at the end after counless calls and emails, i found most of valueable items missing from property, when i inquired from them they said they don’t know anything about it. they were the one only had access to property ,my other remaining stuff was all damaged due to water. Sharon from Leytonstone branch is biggest manipulator, she try to act smart and play political games, i m in process of legal action now . i have instructed solicitors now and i am taking them to the court now i would advise everyone to avoid these thieves. *update* reply to stretton comment Sharon and zita both aware and admitted they took photos of the item and would like to match , then later on zitta said she didn’t took photos of right angels,i can post all emails correspondence screen shot here. Alternative property link they are claiming they provided those were taken from zoopla which i could have find myself. They are absolutely joke. I m in process to take this further and definitely expose them and thier contractors.
27th Apr 2024 (9 days ago)Having worked in Estate Agency for over 20 years, I am an agents worst critic. I was really impressed with Gary he called me at 8.30 in the morning after sending a valuation enquiry through the previous evening. Gary had been out conducted the valuation (I signed up there and then) before the other agents bothered to call. The marketing was superb and the proactive approach from Bohome secured a sale in 4 weeks with two offers to chose from. I cannot praise Gary & Sharon enough, if you want a proactive, hard working and above all caring agent then look no further.
16th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)After a bad experience trying to sell our flat through one of the big estate agency chains, Story of Home was recommended to us by a friend. Our experience couldn’t have been more different; Stuart actually cared about our sale and knew the market and the business inside out. He was there at every step of the way through a fairly complicated sale. He gave excellent advice on everything, was quick to respond to any questions and was there for us whenever needed. We would not hesitate to recommend Story of Home, to anyone.
