1st Nov 2022 (2 years ago)We have had dealings with Woodleys Estate Agents over a number of years both selling and buying of properties, as well as renting. The service, communication and advice they have always given us has been excellent. In particular Mark, Mike and Gareth who were totally on top of negotiations and efficient in deputising for each other when required. All In all this company and its employees acted both professionally and honest with us at all times. They were a pleasure to work with and we can 100% recommend them. In addition we rented a property out through Woodleys with Aidan representing us, who likewise had very high professional standards and guided us through the whole process from advertising to selecting a tenant. Again we recommend this side of the business too. Mark, Mike, Gareth and Aiden are a credit to Woodleys and clearly showed integrity and professionalism throughout our dealings with them, but we also had a good many funny moments and laughter en route. Ben Kitson in particular was excellent to work with; very organised, efficient, pragmatic and personable, we valued his judgment and he kept the sale moving for us. Ballards also have a great photographer who did an excellent job with the sales photos, I think this really helps. Overall would recommend Ballards to anyone

Although we ultimately decided not to proceed with a purchase at this time, I felt it was important to share how impressed we were with the exceptional service we received. From the very beginning, Wayne was professional and incredibly accommodating. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, and each viewing was thoughtfully selected and well-organised. Communication was always clear and timely, and we felt genuinely supported throughout the process. What truly stood out was Wayne’s commitment. If you are looking for an estate agent, I would highly recommend Andrew and his team for their professionalism, honesty and integrity.
28th Aug 2024 (9 mo. ago)Michael Flatman has helped me with four transactions over the last 12 years including purchasing and selling and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is honest, realistic, efficient and simply brilliant at negotiating with all involved to make sure sales go through smoothly. He has also helped me with finding tenants and setting up tenancies and has always been available to help with any queries and gives excellent advice. Above all, Michael is such a nice person, you won’t find any estate agent like him! Thoroughly recommend.

5th Jun 2025 (13 days ago)Whiteknights were great during our sale. They had someone lined up immediately and we sold our house for asking price before it even went on the Market. The sale itself took a long time but that was due to chain issues. When the going got rough, Rob was always contactable and professional and very understanding. The only downside is that they use a third party sales progressor and I found they added no value and I couldn't recommend them. However, this is no reflection on Rob or the team at this branch who were steller so it remains a 5 star for them.

The extra options he provides as standard helped us sell our house by generating viewers as soon as it went on the market. We sold in one day. Thank you Lee - can’t understand why anyone would go with another Woodley agent knowing how hard you work to make the process so straight forward for your clients.

I want to thank Scott for all his help and advice and helping through everything, nothing was too much trouble . Scott was so efficient and professional . My property was sold really quickly through Scott’s hard work . I would not hesitate to use Grapevine again Linda Mathews
14th Oct 2024 (8 mo. ago)We are having a nightmare with this company. We have now rented a property with them for a year. We turned up to the viewing, sat there for 10 minutes and no one showed. We called the office to be told they forgot to book it in and it would need to be rebooked, we had driven 4 hours to view this property as we were relocating so told them they had to send someone out. We were then rushed through the viewing. We ended up going ahead with the property and had no problems with this part of the process. However, anything that requires any form of management from Martin&Co is horrendous. They have 2 months to complete a gas safety check but left it to the last week they could legally have it done and then Oliver had a go at US for not being able to take a day off work to let them in. We got told it wasn't possible for them to give us a timed slot so we called British Gas ourselves and got told it was possible they just had to request it, M&Co wouldn't, so we did and I was able to work it around my job (but had to organise everything myself). We then got contacted about our yearly inspection, we called and booked it in for my day off, they never showed up. We called to find out that once again, they didn't book it in. We live in Wokingham but half of our communication comes from the Staines branch. We then got emailed 3 days before rent due to say they were changing the account we needed to pay, we went on to set it up and the bank stated it looked like a scam payment based on the account, we contacted the landlord as it was a Sunday and he said he hadn't authorised any bank change, so it did look like a scam! However, after contacting a very rude woman at M&Co they stated THEY were changing the bank account and we have no right to talk to our own landlord and to pay them immediately and we were lying about the warning from the bank (proof attached). We are on a fully managed contract and have had to organise everything ourselves so far, which is ludicrous. We are fed up with communication from this company and would never rent with them again.
