1st Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)The agent harasses me! My neighbor used this agency to sell his property. According to him, the experience of selling his property through this agency has been a complete nightmare. Despite the promises made by the agency regarding a 28-day completion and a cash buyer, my neighbor has faced continuous delays. The seller said the highly recommended cash buyer persistently renegotiates the price even after three months, citing various excuses. Additionally, I have experienced harassment from Sam Ford, the agency's director. He warned me not to knock on my neighbor's door. Despite my reluctance to answer his calls, he persists in writing email warning me not to contact my neighbor and attempting to provoke my relationship with my neighbor. He had previously shared my number with his business partner without my permission, resulting in that person emailing me at midnight and making multiple late evening calls. I have reported Sam Ford to prevent further harassment. It is crucial for Mr. Ford to understand who him is and where he is. This is a free country, and attempting to restrict my freedom of movement through email is unacceptable. Secondly, if property owners or tenants feel uncomfortable, they should report such matters themselves. Mr. Ford has no contractual relationship with them at this time. Therefore, the motivation behind Sam harassing me remains unclear
15th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Sky was amazing without her we would not have completed before Xmas. Our buyer was with the shambles that call themselves premier property lawyers!!! There systems were shut down and they have been a complete nightmare. Sky went over and above to contact them and the buyer almost daily. Meaning we didn't loose our onwards property of which we are so grateful. Jennie and Joe
1st Jan 2024 (17 weeks ago)I was given an inflated valuation to gain my business. Communication was good while viewings were being held and sales staff are very friendly and engaged but if you want sales progression go elsewhere. I have been unable to get much of a response despite chasing repeatedly and I have hardly any visibility of a slow moving sale, falling behind by my purchase which was agreed a couple of weeks later. It’s frustrating and I am saddened to feel KFH have moved on to other priorities once I accepted an offer.

His hard work was invaluable in resolving problems and facilitating good communication between different parties. Much appreciated.

I must say, the care that James put in his job is absolutely outstanding. He literally shows passion through his work. The pictures he took of my property were the best compared to other Estate Agent. Moreover what I have very much appreciated about James it has been his openness and transparency regarding the market possibilities and the actual valuation of the flat. Thank you James for your hard work!

27th Apr 2024 (5 days ago)Not a great experience with this company. Placed in a property via my local authority. One company fronts for this company. From day one I reported issues to the initial company I was introduced to. I had a random visit from the owner of this company who found it amusing and failed to comprehend exposed scolding hot pipes, over 1.5m drops in the back garden with no rails, loose paving, an un lockable back door, holes in walls and floors plus many more hazards were an serious issue for an ASD child. He dismissed me and instructed me to get a quote to decorate the bathroom while skipping out of the house arrogantly. I have since come to find out he is not just the estate agent but also the owner. After months of failed repairs by unskilled random men I had to get Environmental Health to inspect. In addition to the faults I identified there were multiple hazards identified including Cat 1 health and safety issues. I have even found slugs in the house. After all this still no effort to repair. Have the audacity to call me sis when you met me but have me and my kids living like this? Absolutely disgraceful people. When I am moved the whole street will get a copy of the report so other families you happily take GBP’s for will know exactly what they are dealing with!

We found Dawn, Suzanne and their colleagues to be extremely proffessional and reacted efficiently whenever an issue ensued. I would highly reccommend Comber and Co to any Landlord's who are looking for assistance in letting and managing their properties out in the Blackheath/London Area. Kind regards, Jamal
5th Nov 2023 (26 weeks ago)The lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful, retorting a few times. I decided to cut short the conversation and told her that I don’t want to progress with the home viewings, given this experience.
25th Sep 2019 (4 years ago)This estate agent was worse than useless, very rude and slow. Messed me about with the house I was supposed to buy and move into and was I chargeed £2,500 before they could take the property off the market. Then the sitting tenant refused to move out and it took over 6 months get our money back and only achieved this by report ing them to the Property Ombudman. Lost close to £ 3,000 in findin g an alternative property to buy and had to take them to court. Now they have movrd from their Orsett road premises after they got expelled from the property ombufsman membership and are nowhere to be found... BeEWARE AND DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL

The reason for this is that they provide a professional, practical and simply brilliant service to both landlord and tenant alike. Working to provide both parties with exceptional service! This team are different to the big chains of estate agents. They care about the landlords and tenants experience and don't just work for their own interest. Fantastic team rare to get this kind of service. Definitely recommended!

A real local expert who knows every house in the Telegraph Hill area inside and out, his advice and guidance were invaluable to us. At a difficult time in the market, he was able to value the house precisely and market it effectively. Through a difficult transaction, he worked tirelessly to get the whole chain moving forward without ever losing his cool. But what really sets Warren apart is his honesty and integrity. He never promises what he can't deliver or puts his interests above those of his clients. It's how he built an unmatched reputation in the neighbourhood and why we are proud to say that he's not just the best agent we've ever worked with but also a dear friend. 30th Mar 2020 (4 years ago)Subject : selling a long lease flat In a Victorian 4 flat building building .Share of freehold . The most shambolic sale I ever ever encountered. They favoured my buyer over me at every turn . I felt lost. No words can say .The delays caused by terrible solicitors ( recommenced by peter james to my buyer) , then on top of that the mortgage found by Peter james recommended broker for my buyer meant 2 solicitors for her alone !!! Both useless . My solicitor was excellent and thankfully not recommended by peter james! Both deny getting my info . Then say we got it . Then weeks / months pass by with denials of receiving things ! They sent us their office inventory of mail and they received everything on the day we sent it but above it said “ not received . Give me strength ! Finally my ID of freeholders in my building for eX change became out of date.due to the chronic delays due to the denials of info received . Then they blamed me -their client ( !!!) -for the Delay then I pulled out. It was all my fault about the ID . I resolved it in a day . But then couldn’t get through to them . That was their last words to me “ it’s your solicitors fault “. I withdrew my sale on exchange . I’m not paying MY estate agent 5 k to be useless
