29th May 2025 (15 days ago)Disappointing service from Savills, we listed our property with them to sell and the communication was very poor. We had to chase them to get an update and to get viewings booked in and they were very slow to give feedback following viewings too. We moved to Kings estate agent and were a lot more impressed with them. Savills seem to only be interested in the big ticket properties, would not recommend using Savills in Sevenoaks.

17th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

7th Jun 2025 (6 days ago)I recently moved from London to Tunbridge Wells and am renting with Maddisons. First, the stark contrast in communication (both in terms of speed and courtesy) has been a breath of fresh air. From start to finish Maddisons have gone above and beyond to answer queries and done so in a kind and straightforward manner. Now that we’ve moved in, any queries have been promptly answered and actioned, in particular by James Richards. Maddisons is definitely the way to go if you want to have confidence in your agent and minimise moving stress. Thank you!
16th Apr 2025 (8 weeks ago)We found Jackson-Stops of Sevenoaks, particularly efficient and active in securing a sale of a property in Sevenoaks. Isabelle Greaves the associate in charge of the sale was so helpful and enthusiastic and guiding us through the whole process including co-ordinating with our solicitors. We would thoroughly recommend Jackson-Stops of Sevenoaks.
29th May 2025 (15 days ago)We were to see a house at 12 today. We travelled 1 hour to see it with 2 children. When we arrived it was on a lane with no parking, this was not communicated to us and we had to dodge traffic to get to the property. Eventually managing to get there we waited 20 minutes and nobody turned up to show us around. They seemed surprised we were there despite texting us to confirm on the morning. After they said they be 30-40 mins we decided to look round the back of the property. We instantly noticed the whole back was shared access. We asked when booking the viewing if this was the case and we’re told no it wasn’t shared access. I know estate agents are useless but these lot really go above and beyond to be completely incompetent. (Means useless if you are reading this) I can only assume they came up with fireflies because they think the sun shines out there you know what.

They have been knowledgeable and extremely helpful and made the whole selling process run smoothly with less stress. Dee was an immense help and was always available to solve issues and queries and I would happily recommend them to all.

22nd May 2025 (22 days ago)I cannot thank Katy Jewell at Your Move Tunbridge Wells enough for her efforts during my flat sale. From start to finish she was proactive, keep me updated constantly and extremely supportive. She really drove this sale through and at times, I wasn’t sure it would ever reach the finish line. We had lots of delays from solicitors and also a lack of communication from them and Katy went over and above to compensate for the other parties involved and got to the bottom of any issues quickly. Lauren was also a delight to work with. In fact, it was a pleasure to deal with anyone at Your Move, they’re an efficient team who care. Thoroughly recommend them as a selling agent.

Nothing was too much trouble for him and he always dealt with my many questions immediately, even after hours or when he was on holiday. He was always happy to chase up vendors and solicitors on my behalf, and his patience and reassurance calmed me down during a very stressful experience.

22nd Apr 2025 (7 weeks ago)Having failed to sell my house using one of the larger, more well known estate agencies, I wanted to find somewhere independent with a more personal service - which is exactly what I got when I asked Maison to help me to sell. From the very beginning, Zac and Damian were fantastic. They are both extremely friendly and helpful at the same time as being very professional and experts in their field. They do all the viewings themselves unlike the bigger agencies who send out lots of different people to conduct viewings. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone who is looking for that little bit extra when selling their home. Thank you Maison!
