8th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)We have rented our home out for the last three years through Hamptons in Rickmansworth. Wasn't the most straight-forward transaction, but Jenny and Rebecca supported us from start to finish, and provided an excellent service. They helped us resolve the many and various issues that arose with endless good humour and patience.
25th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)I don't know why but, I feel they are just waste of time. they show house to about 30 people. then they call for interview with the owner. Owner is least interested in talking and decides just by looking at you if you can afford to pay the rent. Decision takes forever and meanwhile if we follow up. Once, very interested to reply guy (Anil Ranakoti) turns to a not interested to talk and reply guy. when called to know the status says ' you don't have to call, if you are selected you will get to know' I am serving notice to my current landlord, i can't let you take your own sweet time to reply.

From the get go George has communicated fantastically and always been contactable and he has kept us up to date throughout the process.

19th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)So far my experience with imagine has been amazing! Offer accepted over asking within a few working days of the property being online. Marketing was fab, with photos taken on the day of the valuation and then a video tour taken by Nikki for their social media. The post offer service has also been excellent and forward thinking, with a WhatsApp group created for ease of communication. A very modern and positive estate agent to work with - a breath of fresh air!

21st Apr 2024 (28 days ago)Avoid at all costs! REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would give 0 stars if possible. One year ago I expressed interest in a property and signed a contract with them. The contract was legally supposed to turn into a rolling contract but less than two months left from the end of the fixed-term part, they tried to force me into signing another fixed term contract with an unfair rent increase. Taking side with the landlord, they issued a section 21 notice and I moved out but now they ask me to pay the rent for the duration I have not lived in the property and had no access to it (because I handed over the keys to them upon moving out).

I got easily mortgage offer with low rate because of his strength. Micheal Gomes and the entire Fairfield staff were very professional and great to work with for the whole process of purchasing my house.
2nd May 2024 (17 days ago)I have had the absolute pleasure of being handled by one of the best lettings consultants there is. Kyarna Spencer. I have recently started renting a new property from Colin Dean, and she has made my experience the absolute best and easiest. She went above and beyond for me, and I appreciate it soo much. Kyarna is a credit to Colin Dean, and I will be recommending them to family and friends because of her exceptional service. Thank you again Kyarna.
21st Apr 2024 (28 days ago)Still haven’t heard from nick or Darlyne regarding my invoice due from the 5th of April. I have been emailing, ringing and no communication and when I do speak to someone it’s always just an excuse or they will say they will sort it today. Then nothing happens. I can’t believe how unprofessional and how hard it is to communicate or pay a simple invoice that was sent weeks ago. They have the deposit from the old tenant who is paying for the clean I carried out for them. I went out my way to help them and this is what I get in return…. I want paying my money I’m owed. You have my number and email address!! Thanks Sophie

17th Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)Please avoid renting with them at all costs! You will never get your deposit back. Our flat was 30+ year old and tired as you would expect, which we accepted when we moved in. We lived there only 11 months as the house was poorly insulated, we even had ice inside the house in the winter months, they never fixed it (among other things) so we decided to leave the flat. To our surprise, when we handed over the house, they brought their 'expert', a guy called Mark who has been with them for ages, as an 'independent' inspector, who obviously isn't. They will claim all kinds of non existent changes and damages and deduct if from your deposit! they event claimed is our fault that a crack appeared on the ceiling! AVOID!
18th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I was in constant contact with Chris throughout the process and then inevitable ups and downs.
